| Oh snap, another blast off! The amount of human emotions they've poured into Irina's character this epsiode was quite something. This episode was also a lot or Lev to take in especially after all the work he's done. Lol, the ending this episode though. |

| The day has come for Lev to blast off into space, and just like Irina's launch some time before that was a monumental success, everything must go the same without a hitch. Lev felt easily nervous...all because he needs to do his business lols. But Mikhail displayed his utmost human emotions ever to Lev, and also understood the role that would be better left to him to take dreams up into space. The truth about Irina though, Lev definitely got a shock about her predicament that she was sent to the Design Bureau at Sangrad which was a lie, but the space mission is priority before her. As calculated, Lev's space expedition went the same as Irina's, only more grandiose as the UZSR has finally achieved the dream of having one of their men be the first to fly in space. And what a grand congratulations on the streets of Sangrad while Lev conveys his message down under back to the people of the motherland and Irina. It's big news all across the UZSR as Lev is overwhelmed by all the celebration, but give credit where credit is due, and unfortunately Zirnitra isn't interested in giving the honour to those who went before Lev. The final twist in the puzzle is that Irina will most likely be publicly executed, and Anya, I don't know what you have in your head, but hopefully your plan will help get Irina to Lev. Now I'm eagerly anticipating the finale next week. |

Let's freaking hope she doesn't gets shot! this was a good episode for Lev but even after all the praise, dude just couldn't get happy without his tsundere vampire waifu.. I was almost worried for a second that something might go wrong when Lev realized the lie before flight.. Looks like next episode is gonna be about revolution or something.. | Kind of weird to hear everyone shouting banzai when they live in this anime version of USSR. I still think URA! would fit better considering many anime also use that, but well what's done is done I guess? Damn, looking at the next episode PV make me excited for the final episode! What kind of revolution will Lev bring. |
| That was such a moving episode. The way he massaged his message in for her in the official communication was just so sweet. But damn it feels ominous too, Irina's life is hanging by a short thread. |

| Lev made it to space! I really like that they gave Lev's rivals, Roza and Mikhail, got their redemption. Opening up about the horrible thoughts he had about Lev and realizing why Lev was more fit to go to space first. Lev secretly conveyed the thoughts of Irina, the actual first cosmonaut, to the public and using a phrase she would recognise if she had heard it. Very bittersweet. Though as someone who appreciates the parallels to the real life space race in this show, I have to say I was disappointed that they didn't have Lev land in a potato field, meeting two farmers like Yuri Gagarin did in real life: https://freethoughtblogs.com/singham/2021/04/13/the-strange-story-of-yuri-gagarins-return-to-earth/ I really like the art shift when Irina looks outside to hear the crowds chanting Lev's name. lol Anya's hatching a plan. | Lev's lucky streak is impressive; I thought his space journey would have needed the power of Irina's pine to succeed but that guy managed to go and up in space and down to earth with zero issues. Let's see how Lev and Irina will lead humanity to a new world. |
| Very good episode. I honestly thought something was going to go wrong during the launch, but everything went smoothly and Lev came back without any problems, which I didn't expect to happen. The scene of Irina going outside to see all the people celebrating Lev's successful flight was done so beautifully. The visuals and the BGM were great and the cry at the end by Irina was kind of bittersweet, as she's happy for Lev but at the same time feeling angry and frustrated that she's not getting the credit she deserves. Cannot wait for the final episode. |

| Fantastic episode! Nothing like making bros after a nice piss. The flight itself went smoothly thanks to Irina, it was sweet how Lev conveyed what Irina thought of space to the world, that's one way to show what she did, but it's not enough. Damn, so is that how the day looks and feels like to Irina, that was done so well. I am fucking ready for that speech. Also, LET'S FUCKING GO ANYA! FUCK SHIT UP. That's one of the most mischievous cliffhanger ever. Really looking forward to the last episode, I hope to God we get a second season and a full adaptation. |

| Congratz to Lev for achieving his dream. The same words he spoke which he heard from Irina while he was in space made me quite emotional. I really hope nothing bad happens to Irina and she can reunite with Lev. |

| Excellent use of monochrome and distortion to demonstrate how daylight looks and feels to Irina. I do have to commend the director of the series, between this and earlier's lake sequences, they've certainly shown their strength. And there's another point for historical accuracy with Lev needing to piss outside. Most'd think he could do it right in his suit, but of course the necessary apparatus is expendable and needs to be saved for the flight itself. |

| Finally Lev went to space and is labelled as the first human going into space, but well they all forget about Irina and seems like they still want to get rid of her, though the moment Lev went back to earth was beautiful with Irina crying and wanting to meet him again, hope that Anya will manage to do something good. |

| Oh boy... the final episode next week. The best course of action would be if Lev, on live tv, mentions how the motherland should be grateful to ALL who made the flight a reality, including a VAMPIRE! He may hold Irina's hand on live tv similarly to "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman". That would be awesome. Irina will become a national hero as well and the top won't be lenient on killing her after all. It will be too good of an ending (and unrealistic) if Lev actually goes full revolution mode and says that Irina was the first astronaut and/or she was mistreated and so on. Lev saying that = treason, so I would fear for his life afterwards. Remember how the first astronaut Yuri Gagarin died in an accident? There are conspiracy theories claiming he was assassinated. You just don't fuck with the motherland and stay alive. Though in the anime anything can happen... Fingers crossed guys! |

| One more ep to go... to finish this masterpiece. Lev's speech in space tears me up a bit, it's all Irina's words, the true first cosmonaut. Lev uses her words, not his, because only the two of them know the truth of this facade. Hopefully nothing will happen to Irina.. |

| Hard to feel gratitude for your country when it's planning to kill who you actually care about with little remorse. All the artificial, momentary hero worship and praise from newspapers in the world couldn't compensate for such a thing. Speaks volumes of Lev's commitment to his dreams that no lingering worry or fear inhibited his space flight. Mikhail didn't try and screw Lev over afterall, even if he did express that he was internally hoping that he could jump on a fortunate opportunity to replace Lev. Mikhail even gave him his best wishes following. |
