| The ominous backstory of young Nakami, asking about his mother... The camping trip has begun for Nakami and Magari, onwards to Mitsukejima, the island that kickstarts the adventure. Magari literally thinking that the trip is like Super Mario Bros. (with the overworld map and save point references), but Nakami is just being focused on getting the good pictures of the rock island...without its illumination. To pass the time, they walk around the rocks that surround the island, and are enamored with the view of the skies as the invincible duo who doesn't feel sleepy at night. Back at the common house, resting for the moment and going to get ingredients for shiso gyoza, both have a tight budget to work with. After the lunch commune, it's soon night time, and both Nakami and Magari are still awake to play around with each other till they get a good rest in the peaceful countryside. Every passing day and night beckons with more pictures, and the watermelon is a nice way to spend the time. Nakami opening his life up to Magari, being free to do what he wants and feeling at peace with her. His reason for insomnia started off at home with his mother suddenly leaving his home, which overwhelms his emotions of living to see the next day come, which would turn out worse than before. And Magari's answer is one: a simple, salty kiss that has the both of them being embarrassed, and Nakami falling into the ocean to the casual laughters of all. Magari has made her move, and Nakami will make his, once they reached their destination: the Mawaki Site. Strap in anime-onlines, it gets better from here. |

| Hey see guys, she acquired a save point, even if she dies now she can respawn and start again, see ? All is good, yall got worried for nothing ... and, someone should tell Nakami that yes, indeed the point of washing machine is putting sweaty clothes in, so that after they are not sweaty anymore ... Anyway, moving on, we got a kiss, i was not expecting it to be honest, still a nice surprise an all that. But i would like to see what's with the mom flashback, did she leave them or something. (Its a rhetorical question, you don't answer that) Also, on a personal note, I don't suffer from insomnia or any sleep disorders, but a fear of the next day, the desire to "live in today" longer, is something that I always felt too. Kinda nice to see some relatability from a character. |

| The beginning of this episode was really spooky Holy crap Nakami's reason is so relatable. I don't have insomnia but I do get a bit depressed every night wishing that today would just continue and tomorrow won't come. THEY KISSED AND I THINK WE'RE GETTING A CONFESSION NEXT EPISODE YES And this apparently has 13 episodes so 2 episodes of pure wholesomeness left! |

| It's was so sad seeing Nakami remember a painful memory which no doubt causes his insomnia but great to see him open up to Magari now and she finally took the plunge and kissed him. so looking forward to the last 2 episodes |

| Great episode that culminated with a kiss. Ganta having a nightmare reliving that his mom left the family in which it appears he had discovered after waking up. That ends up being the reason for his anxiety and him dreading to fall asleep and then waking up, feel bad for him. At least during this trip he is more at ease and him and Magari are both sleeping better. Side note, I need to buy some watermelon, it is the season for that after all. |

| Nakami's reasoning for his insomnia, aside from his mother leaving his home, did relate to me on some level. Sometimes, we do get anxious about what the next day will bring, and want to "extend" the current day, and thus we sleep very late. I really liked how he opened up to Magari about his troubles, since she did tell him about some of her troubles earlier on. Thus, it led up to a kiss that left them both embarrassed, but it ended up being more casual than I expected, and that was a good thing. Combined with the solid nighttime sceneries this episode, it was an impactful one for sure. Now what will Nakami's move be as they continue their training camp? Maybe we'll get a confession? |

| Such a great episode. Love the parallels that Ganta and Isaki shared with why they fear sleeping at night to reach a tomorrow, Isaki with fearing tomorrow would never come because of her heart and Ganta, for being reminded of the trauma that took place with him and his mother disappearing on him while he was asleep, even though he personally could not quite put it completely together considering how long ago it was. The kiss then after was great and quite spontaneous yet the mood still felt relaxing overall. Ganta was a bit nervy after but they managed to laugh it off which was good. These two have definitely had one of my favorite relationships in all of anime (and manga) and the way they interacted with each other the whole time with no one else around was grounded yet really charming and sweet. The chemistry is definitely top-notch to have the whole episode be so engaging solely because of those two, whether it is the fun times, or whether it's the difficult times. Ganta trusted Isaki enough to be honest with her, same way she was honest with him in the past and both help lift each other up in a really heartwarming and human fashion. This episode I think has sealed this show to be my Anime of the Season. |
| The trip is in full swing now, and the vibes are to the max which is a reference to another show airing this season lol, but I mean damn what a relaxing place that is, no wonder these two are able to sleep here. We got a bit of Ganta backstory here as well, the moment his mom left when he was a kid and his reasoning for being unable to sleep, and it’s one I can kinda relate to. I don’t have it to the extent Ganta does but I have caught myself staying up a bit later just so tomorrow comes a little later, but with Ganta here it’s definitely a deep rooted thing that traces back to that sad day. I also really loved the night shenanigans between Ganta and Isaki taking pictures lol, that part was so heartwarming and funny. And damn man, I wasn’t expecting a kiss this episode but Isaki really went for it, and it was a damn good time to as well, really good timing. Not only was it a great kiss, but the moment that immediately followed was really good as well, our boy just walks into the ocean lol, and then the two of them laugh their asses off, perhaps one of the best kiss scenes I’ve seen in an anime, I loved that. |
| Whole episode just put the biggest smile on my face. Magari and Nakami at the end were adorable with fooling around even after the kiss outside and laughing their asses off. This the kind of episode I expect normally as a finale or the penultimate one but there's 2 to go so plenty of time still left. |
| This episode really solidified how much I love the chemistry between the two main characters, so much so that - save for the previous episode, which featured Magari's sister who was pretty fun to watch with all her teasing and her talk with Ganta about her feelings towards her sister - the scenes featuring only these two together are all my favorite parts of the show by far. Which is weird, cause usually I like shows with bigger casts but this is one of the few where I don't care for any of the side characters. Overall a solid episode, although personally the kiss scene would've felt more impactful if Magari hugged Ganta before going directly for a kiss. Or afterwards, at the very least. Felt kinda off without it when he was talking about something so personal and depressing. |

| First kiss! Not a big fan of slow moving romance genres but at least it isn't some romcom garbage. this is actually really good and wholesome, and i enjoy their activities. what a strange and rewarding premise. |

| Man that beginning of the episode was actually terrifying. Cute and wholesome episode. My question is why Magari take a bath and then riding a bike to conbini? Don't you got sweaty again? lol Wow that kiss coming out of nowhere. Ngl i actually clapping when it happens. |

| poor ganta. that scene at the beginning showing how his mom just up and left made me tear up. i hope he'll be able to heal eventually. on a good note though, isaki kissed ganta!! i was so excited for ganta. definitely pumped my fists with him. and we still have 2 more episodes left, which hopefully means we'll get a proper confession from both of them and a getting together scene. maybe even some scenes of them after making it official? that'd be nice. i hate when romance shows end right after the confession, so id love to get some actual couple content. |

| Oh my word. The feels! Walking to the Island. Her keeping him from falling. Beautiful sky at night, full of stars and magic. Sleeping in the train. Him laying bare his soul, and that kiss. The first kiss for both of them. Wow. I can't even stop my doki doki heart. What a great anime. |
