| This entire episode practically revolved around Tsubaki, which was a nice change of pace. The scene with Tsubaki seeing Kaori in Kousei's clothes was funny. She got pretty riled up from that, huh? It's amusing that Kaori stole Kousei's wallet to sign up for the competition. Kousei does sound pretty terrible, but at least he is playing the piano in the first place. That's a pretty steep change from literally the last episode where he outright refused to touch a piano. I feel pretty bad for Tsubaki. It never feels nice to get left behind like that. Is that hole in the window never going to get fixed? Maybe the school just accepted it wasn't worth the money and decided a flimsy piece of cardboard was acceptable enough. It must have crushed Tsubaki to effectively cost her team the game like that. Kousei carrying her like that in the end probably didn't do much to help her complex either. |

| Boy, this series indeed has some really pretentious dialogues/monologues. Or well, at least too pretentious for 14 years old teenagers. Another mediocre episode. The comedy is simply awful at this point and Tsubaki's one-sided love is so lame and cliche I can't wait for this series to reach the "main" storyline we all know. The episode also gave us a glimpse of Kousei's supposed rivals but honestly, I don't expect them to be something memorable. People never mention them when they talk about "YLiA" after all. |

| This show just oscillates between awful slapstick comedy and annoying drama which doesn't transition well at all. The characters don't behave their age, I mean who even talks like this. Everytime Kaori cries, it feels too contrived. Even though it's the same old childhood friend trope, I did feel bad for Tsubaki when she lost the game and I really liked her moment with Kousei, it was far better than any of the Kaori x Kousei moments till now. |

| For the usual childhood friend cliche, the show still struck my heartstrings. Hope Tsubaki can move on since she and Kousei really live in 2 different worlds |
| Emotional af episode. It's a good thing to let it all out, Tsubaki did good there. Though I have to say, this looks like a love triangle and I'm not the biggest fan of that. Seems like the other 2 characters in the opening have appeared. Didn't think they would be Kousei's opponents. |

| The sad part is that love always distracts a girl/woman from her professional path. At some point, I even discovered why. That aside, it's still possible for a girl/woman to successfully overcome such times if she has enough determination and self-control. Even so, the battle with your own feeling is a fierce fight, every time, no matter how many such experiences you went through. It's just like with storms. You may learn how to deal with them, minimize the losses, and prevail. Yet, they will always feel devastating. |

| Oops, my bad I skipped ep 5. I'll watch it before I continue. Anyway, here's my impression of ep 6 after having skipped ep 5. Poor Tsubaki. She is jealous. She has sowed, but it is Kaori who is reaping. The episode ended with Atima's former competitors. They are pumped up to compete with Arima this time around. |

| This anime never fails to amaze me. The way they started the episode with a seemingly random memory from Tsubaki and Kousei, to end the episode with a recreation of that episode, but with the roles reverse, was really well done. I think they are doing an amazing job portraying Tsubaki's feelings towards Kousei and Kaori getting closer. And the way she broke down in tears with Kousei shows she does feel safe with him, and it's sad that her team lost, because of her :( It's cute how she went on a date with her Senpai just to talk about Kousei, and he didn't seem bothered. We still don't know what she said to him that episode, but it seems that her Senpai understands she's in love with Kousei, and not him, but since he loves her, he just enjoys being with her. But it's also crazy how she spent the whole date talking about Kousei xD I think it's also interesting how Kaori was taken back by what Tsubaki said, and went to Kousei to make sure if she was pushing him too hard. But in reality, it was the fact that she was pushing him that made Kousei able to start coming out of the shell he created after the death of his mother. This scene was also really beautiful, and you can see that Kousei is slowly starting to be more active on trying to go for his feelings towards Kaori. Next episode it seems we are getting more Watari story, since he has been so far the most neglected character of the 4, so I'm curious about that. Also, Kousei seems to have 2 mighty rivals coming up! |

They don't even have any real romance going on yet but WHAT DID U EXPECT. But no worries, the annoying blonde will hopefully faint for the final time. But how will things go before then. |
