| And we're back! Hinna Hinna! Glad to see the humour still remains very good, along with the tense action, as always. No Ogata yet, but that sniper sure was interesting. As for the change of studio, Brain's Base did a good job, and I think the animation was a bit more refined than Geno Studio, however, the character designs looked a little off, but I'll see if I like those as the series goes on. |

| Peak is fucking back, let's go. Honestly forgot a little what happened in the previous season, but that short recap at the start really helped jog the memory. Ah, bliss, Golden Kamuy's comedy cannot be beaten. Only in Golden Kamuy can you go from trying to kill each other to communicating by drawings adorably or talking about buttholes, absolutely beautiful. That moment when you're so unlucky that it actually saved you lmao. Damn though, Hijikata and Ushiyama actually lost. Bet your ass, Kadokura will somehow save them by exploiting Sekiya's butthole or something. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| I didn't realize there had been a studio change until I read the comments. The animation style, character designs, the unique atmosphere of the story, and even the delivery of the comedy are all pretty consistent with the Golden Kamuy style we've seen in previous seasons. Anyway, glad to see the gang back. The interaction between Sugimoto and the Russian snipers through drawings is adorable and hilarious. They look like pre-schoolers scribbling on the floor. |

| God, I missed this show so much. One of the things I like about Golden Kamuy is that how it can insert funny scenes during an intense moment. It was such a great start. |

| That combination of action, comedy, great characters, complex relationships and alliances, great world building... I instantly remembered why I liked GK a lot and the start of s4 clearly delivers that GK feeling. |

| The most underrated show of the season is back and it hasn't skipped a beat. Poor Shirashi got shot by the Russian sniper which lead to in interesting conversation between Sugimoto and the Russian sniper after their fight. It was nice seeing Asirpa and the rest of the cast. It seems like the jailer and the hunter are tracking down another prisoner named Sekiya Waichiro who is known for using poisons to kill his cell mates in a twisted game of testing your luck. Hijikata got to Sekiya first as he was trying to escape after burying another prisoner with the tattoos. Once again, Sekiya wanted to test Hijikata's luck by forcing him to eat the one of the silkworm cocoons laced with one of the poisons. Hijikata took the one that had fugu tetrodoxin which was very lethal, but somehow he's still alive. I never get tired of the deadpan humor in this show and I liked the OP and ED. |

| The OP is the best I've seen so far this season! Not that I've seen much but I've seen Mob III so it really is saying something. I don't remember much from previous seasons but the start wasn't as confusing as it might have been. Glad to see these characters once again! |

| Oh wow, I'm actually surprised they're going back and doing this Hijikata cocoon storyline now. For those who don't know this little arc actually takes place BEFORE Kiroranke's death in the manga. When I didn't see it adapted last season I just assumed they were gonna skip it and gloss over the details, but I'm glad they're adapting it, even if slightly out of order. I missed Golden Kamuy. |

| Great episode. I would prefer if they finished Karafuto arc before jumping to the poison guy arc. Although I don't remember the order in the manga. The ending is the best Japanese song I heard in a while. I look forward to hear all of the new voice actors. |
