Finally, some more causal hanging out between M4A1 and her squad. It felt like awhile since they've done that. I just wish those segments lasted longer cause we get far more tactical battles in this show.

Speaking of which, the action feels pretty much the same as usual with M4A1 fighting their usual fight. Story progress really felt like it hasn't moved much at all, yikes.

Pretty good episode. The first half was surprisingly peaceful. I liked the conversation between Kalina and Gentiane.

Ferri T-Doll Destroyer looks so cool.

M4A1 really has lowered her guard when Big Sis M16 is back, but she can't stay like that forever as the AR Team is all back together doing their usual Sangvis prowl.

Commander Gentiane took a business trip back to the Griffin HQ Base, and was summoned to be part of debugging Sangvis's new plan Parapluie. The other commanders sure are riled from Gentiane making a scene, and proving with her capability as learnt from the Griffin doll teams.

But the Sangvis ain't stupid dolls, their intelligence far surpasses that of Griffin, and the latter being sideswiped and attacked leaves no room for error, now that they're trapped in the HQ Base. And Gentiane isn't taking any risks, so to mobilize each and every Griffin doll is the best tactic in order to face the onslaught of Sangvis dolls while the AR Team heads straight for the enemy's base.

As expected, another enemy commander is here, and it's the Ferri T-Doll Destroyer the AR Team will face next.

Its odd to see M4 space out but i guess having her team back together once more can make even her giddy. AR15's adorable when she's angry. Griffins underground base though was pretty cool. Among the Griffin commanders looks like our dear commander's pretty highly regarded. Goes to show that proper respect and good communications can allow a commander to bond easily with their troops. The Sangvis's raid on the base sure added a lot of tension to the ep while for the first time introducing a genuine threat to Gentiane's life as well. Overall an interesting ep that featured a nice balance of lore expansion via the new Griffin commanders and action via the base attack. Though only featured briefly curious whether we'll see Kawasaki again as she made quite the impression. Giving AR team command authority was an interesting move on Gentiane's part that i felt reflected well on her increasing trust of dolls in their jobs. Curious at what Destroyer will bring to the table though. Wonder will the commander end up fighting on the front as well.

It's not odd. M4 was never exactly sharpest tool in shed

anyway
- Anime missed opportunity fixing Gentiane even bit.
- "That's elite product for you" says bona fide elite product to other...
+ It did actually pretty good job with showcasing ST AR unique ability.

I guess I enjoyed this episode. This is point where it get easier adapt without major need adjust story and it shows. Studio clearly doesn't intend make any changes (and it messed beginning big time) so that's good for them.

Destroyer, Sangvis Ferri's resident brainlet, makes her first of many appearances.

Legitimately good episode, and it shows both in the animation quality, which is comparatively better than previous episodes. This goes right down to the use of better muzzle flash and blowback effects, as well as better 3d models.

Human base got invaded. Boring infights. The AR team were then tasked to take down enemy base. The AR team is dull as ever. The only one I like is AR 15. HAHA

After the commanders all attend a meeting together, disaster strikes and now they’re all fighting to stay alive from a Sangvis attack, but Gentiane and her big brain thinks of sending the dolls on the outside of the base to take out the Sangvis base to stop the onslaught of enemies, I gotta say I’m liking this little arc, about time things got tough again. I also enjoyed the moments the commanders had before everything went down, including that PPK moment lol.

the episode started calm then things got worse with the invasion of the secret base and gentiane took advantage of the fact that she had some dolls outside and asked them to destroy the base but the Sangvis troop commander was very cowardly for having fled and I know that will be explained in the next episode

It definitely feels like we're leaving the introductory parts now, cause this episode felt a lot better, it was a pretty good episode. It's cool to see the other commanders, didn't expect them to fight in the frontlines too, that was cool as well. Gentiane looks great in her uniform though.

With all the talk about what some of the dolls occupations were, I am wondering what the world was like before this war with Sangvis started.

Looks good. Nice to see other commanders besides Gentiane.

We got another nice action with SF attacking the secret base. But how did they know?

Looks like M4 relaxed too much after having her big sis back and spaced out on the battlefield, making AR-15 kinda mad with her team leader. AR-15 really a strict doll even until this episode. Interesting how M16 didn't really had much useful talks and comment on this episode rather than being casual and supporting M4 to the max. While SOPMOD, as cheerful as always. Still curious about what the op mean about her, though....

Alright, back to the base, Gentiene had some summon, while having a nice little talk with Kalina about trust. Its also had some interesting information about AR team and the possibility of them having a shadow commander that led the team to Gentiene. The summon led her into the secret base of GnK and having a nice little talk with some of other commander before continue the work with the big boss of the company. Hmm, whats that doll old job? I am really curious....

However, unfortunate for Gentiene, there's a surprise attack happened on that supposed-to-be a secret base. How? Then, the ringleader of Sangvis which responsible over that big scale attack also has been introduced too. Destroyer, kinda out of my expectation about her initial characteristic from the op visual. Though, at least her name suited well with what she's done, trying to destroy the secret base.

AR-15 once again showed her secret capability to track the unknown location with her 'recon'. Even though there's something hidden over her gesture to M4, lets just hope them able to overcome the crisis against Destroyer. Lets see...

Nice now that the whole AR team is reunited we're up to another decisive and tense battle, especially with that SF Destroyer's appearance at the end

Not much to say, the secret base suddenly got attacked, which just means the base wasn't "secret" after all.

Now it's in the hands of AR team to find the Sangvis base and destroy it and now they find their new enemy boss to defeat.

3/5 episode.

Hmm hmm! People curious how such a secret base was discovered. How indeed I wonder?~ Well the clues are there in previous episodes and this episode, but I won't say more than that.

They finally introduced talk of certain t-dolls' command modules. To provide a little background here, since it was only touched on briefly, it's one of the many reasons AR team and M4 are special (and a few other t-dolls we'll meet more in depth down the line / have briefly seen). Basically a command module allows them to act as a commander and have command authority over other t-dolls orders, however not every t-doll has such a thing.

Odd but not unwelcome to see that apparently the anime is giving G36 the role of Gentiane's adjutant. As someone who played the game, usually it's mama rifle Springfield for story and events, but as a big G36 fan myself and who has her as my own adjutant, this choice pleases me. Too bad the anime lacks the details of the small German flag accessory in her headband's sides, since German assault rifle.

Last but not least, best Sangvis Ringleader has finally appeared! Destroyer! Indeed, resident Sangvis brainlet like someone else said, but very curious how the anime is going to portray her and if we get all her obnoxious bratty laughter and taunts and cute moments or not. Regardless, if the anime gets a second season, or OVAs from in-game events, there will be more of her to come.

Looks like we're on par for the anime ending around in game chapter 6 or 7, so that certain in-game cliffhanger will likely be the end. Anime still hasn't divulged some of the more crucial plot info about some t-dolls yet though, hopefully that point is touched on in episodes 9 or 10, unless they saving the reveal for the end. Can't wait for more Destroyer next week!
No I don't read manga. Why? Because according to MAL manga readers, all anime is either: too rushed, too slow, anime original, or a terrible adaption. I like to enjoy anime for what it is, anime.

I came here to say pretty much the same thing, I think they're trying to give her as many episodes in the anime as she has costumes in the game ^_^ I agree that it's not unwelcome too, at the time I stopped playing (around mid 2020) G36 was my only T-Doll with the Neural/Digimind upgrade. I picked it up again recently though, so should get to work on some others. Also agreed that Destroyer is always the most fun

I actually hope they're able to have a second season, I know the reviews of this one are pretty mixed - which won't help, but they're being pretty faithful to the pacing and progression of the story, and there's a whole lot of it left to cover.
