hey i created a topic in MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU and wish to have your views.
hope to see your thoughts/views there .
topic is about YUKING CHAN LYING and HACHIMAN disappointment
Hey there. Not sure if you've heard of it already, but it seems like the second season of Oregairu has been announced!
Yes, I'm pretty surprised about that. The announcement has been made on the same day when Volume 9 of the Light Novel went on sale. So right now, they only have half the material to work with compared to the first season. Could it be that the author won't be writing 12 volumes aftert all?
Well, I consider this great news. On the other hand, I can't help but be a bit worried ^^'
Hey there, it's been a while. You seem to be taking quite a long absence. I Hope you will return one day.
So, what I wanted to tell you is, the Oregairu OVA is out. Gotta watch it, right? ^^
Sorry, my PM box is ridiculously full, due to a past MAL club bug that sent hundreds of copies of club messaging into my PM box. The sheer number renders me unable to go ahead and delete those. There's just too many, and there's no "empty inbox" button to use.
I am not the only person on the planet, who views anime as a stylization. And negotiation? The only negotiation item on the table for me to accept -- is for me to "shut up about it, and accept that there is a single definition for anime, limiting anime towards Japanese productions only". I'm sorry to say, that is not acceptable; such a request is on the same line as repression.
So, you're right. For any sort of agreement, we will not see any kind of agreement in the foreseeable future. After all, Sub vs Dub still continues after 20+ years of arguing. In fact, I'll require at least 10 more American produce work in the "anime style". However, I commend you for making this plea; and I'll view it with respect. So, thanks.
Nevertheless, if people are bothered by the angry argument going on in the RWBY, then so be it. I won't argue there anymore; or at least, I'll really try not to. I run the same argument across a couple different anime-related communities anyways.
However, I will not stop referring to RWBY as anime. I've waited 7 years for someone from America to make something, and then call it anime (as you can read in my signature link). That time came when Monty Oum himself declared RWBY as anime. So, I will at least not let that part go and will continue to promote it as such.
You've been talking about the Light Novels, can you read Kanji or have you found a translated version of the novels? I'm only asking because I use Baka-Tsuki and they only have a couple of chapters out but I'd like to read as much of it as I can.

So I wonder if you'll come back to MAL to discuss Season 2 like in the good old days ^^
hope to see your thoughts/views there .

Now, as for my arguments pertaining to American anime. Here's some example reading for you:
