I have to admit, this anime actually does a decent job at showing an adventurous journey and world building elements. Even the creatures (blowfish) looked like something completely otherworldly. Paw also returned and kicked some ass. Looks like she also learned what the Mushroom Keepers are up to recently.

This episode also shows that not everyone can be trustworthy, not that it's a surprise in the first place.

The children in this anime also seems pretty tough.

As the adventure continues, Bisco and Milo head towards Calbero Shellfish Sea in order to go to Tohoku. They arrive in a town on their way where there’s no adult and only kids are living, has been threatened by the violent Flying Pufferfish. So many kids living by themselves, crazy to think. Meanwhile, Pawoo, who’s chasing after Bisco and Milo, meets a strange couple on her way and she's so easily swayed and as expected, they were the evil guys but at least, she knows not to trust anyone strange like that.

Milo cured all of the kids' disease and they were grateful but soon Pufferfish attacked and Bisco had to help them all. Cool episode.

At least our heroes survived this lord of the flies place. While helping out some good kids who needed a leg up after being treated so badly by Kurokawa. I could guess that the kids weren't like horrible psychopaths since they didn't give off that kind of vibe the old couple did with Pawoo. The kids were just hardened, not literally thank goodness, by their environment since they had been so misinformed by Kurokawa regarding their diseases. Super doctor Milo fixed them up right away no harm no foul. That one kid guarding Bisco, or really just talking to him, definitely seemed like a good kid and same with the ruff one who kinda lead them. They all were very courteous and good thing Bisco helped deal with those giant flying blowfish. Mark that up as another animal I never thought I'd see in an anime.

Pawoo didn't get so lucky with that freaky old couple. Absolutely could see they were lying about people leaving cause a mushroom keeper killed most of the town. I'm glad that Pawoo could see their true intentions and basically took them out. Kurokawa finding Jabi back at the city isn't good news so I hope nothing bad happens to the old man.

I'm actually glad that Bisco can't read Kanji. I prefer uneducated men because they're easy to take advantage, and I could teach Bisco things I know in exchange for...

Next up, Bisco and Milo shooting an arrow together, an equivalent of Disney's dance scene, if you know what I mean ;)

What we learnt this episode:

1. VOLUME 1 OF THE LN JUST GOT TRANSLATED AND RELEASED IN ENGLISH (Both digital & physical)!!!
2. JAAAAAAVVVVVVIIIIIIIIII NOOOOO!!! (hope he gets away)
2. Blowfish are scary! (and kinda believable too, I imagine they float by holding in a lot of air or something, IDK, I'm shit at bio)
3. Pawoo the Hot is back!!! AND PROBABLY GONNA STAY TOO!!
4. Tsuda Kenjirou sounds sexy as always voicing Kurokawa
5. Milo, good job avoiding making a kid fall in love with you, just for them to never see you again (or become a cringe attention seeker down the line)
6. Running after Bisco probably isn't that good for Pawoo's rust
7. That OST during the battle scene gave me chills!

Was that the rust?
NO YOU DUMBASS. RUST IS RUST COLOURED, DUH!

And what will happen next episode?
That's still a mystery

That is...

SABIKUI BISCO!

P.S: Wtf was the intro to the oji-san and oba-san. Like, them being serial killers and all is a'ight. But I have no idea what happened in their intro scene. Why were they being attacked by a giant spider?!

Well damn, the children under Nuts are tough and stood their ground against Bisco and Milo, but what a fortress of an army of children in a once suburban Tetstujin Town.

Even the children are prone to Rusting (which does look like it but it's not), given the lapse of the Imihama army under Governor Kurokawa. And Milo did a service to the children by curing them of shellskin, but as for the flying blowfish, without Bisco they would be eaten by now. A good trade exchanging info for every blowfish in the sky, that's how to trust good-hearted Mushroom Keepers.

Pawoo is obviously still alive, though on her own as well. But to hear from an old couple that a Mushroom Keeper has threatened their lives by manipulating townsfolk by enveloping Rust in their own medicine as a cure of sedative, and unfortunately that stigma will always exist that people like Bisco are evil-minded. Sure enough, those same people, more than the fear of Rust, are the epitome of evil themselves.

Jabi really hid himself well within the ranks of the Imihana army, but nothing can be snuffed out of Kurokawa's tracks, which was something I was not expecting. What is Jabi's fate now that his cover is blown?

Time to go, and there's no time to waste to reach the deeper reigns of the world.

I saw a white rabbit in the preview. Does that mean what I think it means? Hopefully not.

Well, this was a pretty nice episode; enjoyed it. From what I can see so far, the structure of the story seems similar to Cour 2 of Mushoku Tensei wherein our protagonists will have some side-adventures while travelling to their destination. This episode, they got captured(i.e., allowed themselves) by children suffering from shellskin who get cured by Panda.
Bisco gets his hands on a map but apparently he doesn't know how to read Kanji so he threatensnegotiates with a fan of his to get it translated. Thus, the journey continues.

Meanwhile, Pawoo heard from an old couple about a Mushroom Keeper that used them all for experimental purposes. Sadly, the old couples themselves are evil tho I didn't understand their motives. This incident just served to deepen her hostility towards mushroom keepers which means Bisco and Pawoo won't be getting along anytime soon.

I miss Jellyfish Girl tho. Also, that old man seems to have been caught. That's nearly all for this episode; lookin' forward to the next one.

This is why I don’t trust old people. I knew something was wrong with them. I’m glad Pawoo was smart not to drink the tea.

I’m glad Milo became the kids savor and really helped them out. Thank you for not letting that little girl fall in love with you 😳😮‍💨.

Bisco is still someone that gets a job done and is ready to beat up some blowfish at anytime

The author should've subverted our expectations by letting the kids turn out to be some fucked up hunters, lol.

But nice episode nonetheless.

LOL the ending. And seems like we will see jellyfish again in next episode, nice. Also the rabbits in the preview, violent re:zero flashbacks resume. Rabbits have never been the same for anyone who has watched re:zero.

Yup I already thought something is up with that tea, this is that kind of an anime where you shouldn't trust poeple and stuff plus unless there's something wrong, they won't focus on tea that much. Anyway glad that Pawoo is at least safe, injured, yes but safe and did the couple die? But man that was one nasty couple, what the fuck were they even doing? Creating statues out of living people or some shit?

Kind of bothered me that those kids were talking about their dead parents so casually, they have hardened up. But I don't understand from where they are getting weapons.

Those fishes were huge man, killing them turned out to be a pretty good fight scene.

This duo is fun to watch, both are really nice dudes and make up for some really good moments. Milo is a kind dude, like the perfect dude, doing always good deeds and stuff, he's nice and Bisco is the notorious type but still is kind inside, it was hilarious when he kept provoking that one kid even after being locked up lol, Bisco's a menace.

5/5. Looking forward to next episode.

Bro, this anime has had me hyped and I really love it. But, getting kidnapped by kids is as awesome as you can get.

Akaboshi does a lot of things, he lives in a cage, looks at a map he can't read because its in Kanji, then decides he's going to take a family heirloom because it isn't being used, then decides to negotiate killing weird skyfish if the boy can remember all the towns and cities. Then, goes off on his crab and has a nice day. Milo was taken as well and had some nice soup, his restraints were taken off because he was going to tip the bowl, he heals the kids from not rust but shellsomething disease, is asked to stay but tells the girl she is needed, hops on a crab, ridicules Akaboshi and they both have a nice day.

Pawoo, I really love her but now that she thinks that rust is created by mushroom keepers and Akaboshi's one, their friendship ain't starting anytime soon. The old man is still up, awake and away which is always fun to see, I really hope he lives until the last episode but we all know he's not.

This shit is going strong, looking forward to next ep.

Yeah, it was blatantly obvious that those two people Pawoo ran into were the bandits they themselves mentioned given that they were the only two people alive in the area just after two bodies fell by Pawoo. Definitely interesting to see what Pawoo's up to while she hunts Bisco down.

Overall, an interesting episode of mostly worldbuilding, a definite improvement on last week's disjointed episode.

Really liked this episode, we got some more Pawoo finally, and I was rightfully immediately suspicious of that old couple the moment they were on screen lol, but I loved the reveal still, pretty spooky. The giant flying puffer fish invasion was cool too, and the ost when Bisco was taking them out slapped, and Milo really had to let that little girl down hard lol, didn’t even say they’d see each other again, I guess he’s probably right.

Oh, I thought the sister would meet Bisco when I had seen the trailer for this episode in the last one. I am glad they don't meet just yet. The build-up for a proper drama has not been created so far.

I knew those chains would not keep Bisco chained! lol. I was just waiting for him to break them.

Milo and Bisco's interactions are always so sweet!

The old couple reminds of the scary stories I used to be told when I was a child.

I was wondering how a town can have only children, and was dreading a weird explanation like "a disease killed all the adults". But, I liked the explanation we got. The adults leaving to earn money makes sense, and also makes this weird world feel a bit more grounded in reality.

Pretty standard stuff. I liked the designs and concepts for the creatures and the world, but I feel like it’s not getting as fleshed out as it should. This could be Made In Abyss level of wonder, but they don’t seem very interested in going for that.

Like the zombie thing that attacked Pawoo, for example. Is that what completely rusted people become? If not, then how does that happen? How did they cure the shell sickness in the kids? What causes it? What happens if it goes untreated? Diving into these answers are what helps create more investment within the world, and I’m not interested in trying to find outside sources to supplement something the show should be doing itself.

It’s fine as is. It could just be much more.

Trying to comment on this series is like trying to describe a blank sheet o paper. One important difference being that you can do something useful with the paper but this show is so painfully bland and lacking in any creativity, it's hard to come up with anything less enjoyable or interesting to do with 20 minutes of your time on the spot. Maybe eating that paper? Maybe.

It was obvious what's the deal with the old couple from the moment they appeared on the screen. Camp run by kids was also just another trope acted out without any point to it. Same goes for the main characters. Redhead is the usual loud asshole with a heart of gold trope troping around and panda is the usual soft spoken tosser with a heart of gold trope doing its own trope things. Both just being moved from plot point to plot point while encountering plot devices. I guess we reached the point where scripts for anime are auto generated by AI with little to no human input.

Is there really someone enjoying it other than people who just started watching anime or middleschoolers?

I'm out. If someone wants to watch an action series set in a post apocalyptic desert that isn't comparable to contents of old litterbox, go check out Trigun or Sunabouzu. Or Casshern if you want less action and more thinking.

The adventure continues and we see sexc Pawoo riding her motorcycle. She heard someone screaming for HELP. Oh boy the kids that Bisco and Milo met last episode, they're mentally prepared for whatever the outcome LOL but Bisco and Milo are just going on an adventure to Akita so it ain't big of an issue, it's just that they were in food scarcity and needed those watermelon :v Maybe no one is rich one dimensionally in this setting, so against one another is excusable. Man Bisco really had the audacity to prove his "WANTED" side and ended up getting both him and MIlo arrested xD, oh boy this gets better, now they're expanding the groundbreaking setting into a poor looking state town to where all 98% are kids and most are sheltered. Lol something interesting I figured is Iron Man can be interpreted differently in its actual form but it does look beautiful from the outlook. Pawoo encountered a Tarantula(?) who is about to kill an old couple but she's too strong she was able to beat the shit outta them. The kid who is feeding him, I can easily discover how kind-hearted she is and talking about the adults trying to earn money to get them and their kids own need plus talking about the bunny hats, now I exactly understood why they're trying to attacking Bisco but still the "Mushroom Guardian" from the past might not have been properly an ideal imagery to what Bisco's current state is right now.

Bisco teasing the kids was so adorable xD Pawoo encountered something strange inside the mansion and HOLY SHIT I didn't expect the old couple to be this atrocious towards a human body, I just like how disgusting it is when some monster starting on an explosion on Pawoo's mouth, the couple's end reminded me of a story between bonnie and clyde but they're old and can use explosions! The kid is nice, Natsu should've taken this kid because Bisco is getting a huge advantage with the map! Whilst Milo is healing each and every few kids, a fucking army full of Pufferfishes but they can levitate wtf this is so strange it's questionable but hey Bisco saved the kid from getting almost eaten, I need to have an avatar like Bisco once I go on Terraria so I can fly like him too! LMAO I totally lost it when Bisco was shooting the arrow to all of these arrows while the kid is mentioning all these stations in a row xD but after all, it'll help Bisco and Milo to discover these stations along the way and encounter more darker and stronger unusual creatures, also wtf was that cliffhanger between Jabi and Kurokawa xD??!? This episode is definitely giving me a Made in Abyss vibe with their worldbuilding, definitely looking forward to more.
