Those haunted dolls always creep me out. I was wondering what that doctor with the vile with the blood and bug in it was doing. I have no idea why he was there.

Okay. So how did that doll become "human"? And how did she get those powers? It's like she was possessed by a demon or something.

If anyone knows, please tell me...

Confusion aside, this was some crazy ass shit. But I wanted to see some uber awesome showdown between Ai and the doll. Gawdammit.

okay that was definately the most wierd of the series so far! D: i was like wtf?! through about 90% of that episode, like most people i didnt get what the significance of the doctor was? so if anyone else has any ideas fill me in aha! but yeah the shows definately seems to be picking up pace, but i can't really say I got that episode that much, although it was freaky as hell :/

I believe the worm is based on Kodoku (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodoku) which could have had something to do with the director leaving or Nina being alone for so long (all speculation of course). The reason the doll manifested her soul was because it was the closet thing to her next to her father. Dolls are known to be a gateway for souls to bind to in most Japanese mythos. Since she had regrets while she was alive and grievances towards her father, her spirit could not rest. Therefore, it manifested itself into the doll to become a earthbound spirit. Earthbound spirits grow stronger in power over the course of time which would explain her display of powers and the lack of progression in time in the physical world. Once the spirit realized it was no longer of this world (as well as the grievance the soul held), the power that manifested over all that time completely dissipated. That's when you see the physical world coming back to terms with reality as there is nothing causing the flow of time to be frozen in eternity anymore. Now, when Tsugumi holds the doll and realizes what she really was here for, the soul finally feels at peace now it isn't alone anymore and finally goes to rest (reverting the last distortion in time at last).

In Japanese myth, dolls are usually empty vessels for spirits. In this shows case, the doll took in the abandon girl feelings and became alive.

The bug in the jar, it could of been the father who was mixing poison from insects, to kill the daughter.

great episode again a little change of the usual thing but was cool.

the worm stuff had to do with the detectives observation it was like this when you see somebody examining a worm or something else it looks like a normal research but he noticed there where no computers in the modern year they live in there exist no hospital or lab or what ever it was with out computers so from that point he knew something was not right. so this worm thing was just to let everything look normal only the detective saw trough it at least that's my guess if it is really the case I don't know.

SOMETHING NEW HAPPENED! And it only took them more than half of the season. Anyway, what's good is good, this episode was nicely crafted together, kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. If only the following episodes could break from the formula as well...

First time that no one was sent to hell. It was strange to see Ichimoku and Onna helping Hajime and his daughter. And the fact that Enma couldn't avenge the little girl made this episode quite moving.

One of the better episodes. :) And the doll didn't become human. What human can do that. 0.0 It became some sort of spirit or a demon.

This episode had the 2 things that creep me out the most, little girl ghosts and dolls..>_>

But yeah really good episode, nice to see something different for a change. It was also interesting to see hell correspondence fighting against another supernatural force. I kinda hope we see a bit more of that in the future.

Also Shibata either has balls of steel or hes just really dumb, because I personally would have gotten the hell outta there as soon as I saw that little girl standing in the doorway LOL.

Great episode, this show does a good job a giving off a good creepy vibe. Shame it's hindered by the repetitiveness of the Hell Link contracts. Was also interesting to see that Ai's group weren't the only supernatural entities lurking around.

It just keeps getting better and better, What a breathtaking episode. Let me just first say that i really liked the presentation of doll taking in a human soul, the unsatisfied feelings that it has (kinda like a ghost) All Nina wanted is to not be lonely :( It kinda reminds me of Wixoss's character Mayu who was being lonely all her life and just like Nina isolated from the rest of the world and all she wanted to do is not be lonely :( poor Nina i really felt for her there.

I really wonder why her father left her tho. and yeah its obvious that Ai couldnt accept a request from not a person. And i guess that's what her followers meant by "she even took that request' I wonder why Ai took it even. My guess is she wanted to free Nina's soul? Liked the confrontation between Ai and Nina too with Ai telling her to remember.
Also was cool how Ren and others were helping out Hajime. I don't think they will stop from interfering but that definitely should've put a fear into them.

SO glad this isnt one of those. "WE gotta force the plot so someone goes to hell" episodes. rather enjoyed this episode, for breaking up the repetition of the previous episodes. even got some extra canon (Obviously tsuchigumos are in the universe of the story) still wish, enma would explain the elephant in the room "why his daughter?" ,"why, even tell her?" , or "why is she forced to carry out the hell corr. when she obviously doesnt want to?" (pandering aside)

Hope the next Episodes, are like this.

At the end of the episode right after they both fainted and almost died, they wake up aaand still decide to go inside the building despite they barely survived the night before.. I mean who would do that :P (and yes for the sake of the plot and the closure of the episode HAD to go in but its just one of these stories that are hard to accept even tho its complete fictional :p)
