| Firstly I think the story is very good and funny. comedy is more my style. At first I was like "What is with this animation??" but then I got used to it and like other people say, I think it fits it quite well |

| I'm in the middle of the first episode. I'm about to quit this show...such a shame i was kind of hyped for this one. The "Anime" is no Anime. It's just a colored manga with little animations. A twelve year old can do this over the weekend. Wonder how much money Netflix gave for this garbage...I'm in the wrong business. |

| That was pretty hilarious! Definitely going to start reading the manga after binging this. I think this visual style fits the show, though it's a little too fast. The OP and ED goes fucking hard though. And Tsuda Kenjiro is fantatstic as always. |

| This anime is perfect: the voice acting is stellar and the style is faithful to the manga. It's like people have never seen Ninja Slayer. The opening and ending themes are catchy as too, and they both highlight the double meaning of shufu which adds another layer of meaning to the title which is pretty great. |

| Ah the classic JC Staff. Pace each and every shot as quickly as it can because as long as people are busy trying to keep up, they won’t notice that literally nothing is moving on screen other than the camera. This technique was used to a masterful degree in the past JC Staff titles that everyone loves such as the later seasons of Food Wars. The moving manga style isn't bad in and of itself, but to make it works you need to nail the timing and the shot transition. And, well, this ain't it chief. The lack of animation also gives room for a more detailed visual design. But when the whole thing looks like every regular anime ever, this style just screams "lazy" rather than "artistic license". |

| This made me laugh my ass off. It's a short series and i didn't expect much from it but man the humor is so funny plus the food looks so appetizing. I do get what people said about the animation but they are really too harsh on this. The OST is bomb. |

| For some reason this reminds me of Cromartie High School. I enjoyed that one and so far I do like this anime. I liked the shopping war with mittens as the reward for battle! It's cute and it's not serious so it will do fine with me. |

| Finally got around to it and I enjoyed it quite a bit, it was pretty funny. The opening was pretty sick too. The animation isn't even a problem, there are countless anime like it and it's not bad since it's going for that, even if it wasn't it fits pretty well. I seen a lot of comments about people who don't like the animation and think it's an absolute trash tier adaptation so I was worried, but now I realize that's probably just quality junky opinions, where anything less than fate heaven's feel or made in abyss level visuals is like ex-arms level regardless of the style or approach to animation. At the end of the day it was great, lol. Definitely gonna binge, and if it stays this way, then excited for the announced second season. |

| I don't really bitch about animation quality but even I noticed this. People saying that this is an art choice, no it is not. This is just motion manga, but worse. Usually motion manga are done so that you can still understand what is going on. This however is very rushed and very hard to understand. It gets better in following episodes but never good. I believe this would be a cult anime like "Sakamoto desu ga" or "Danshi koukousei no nichijou" if it was done well. Such a shame. |
