Feels kinda rushed but whatever.

We got the final match this episode with a close score. Pressure is high this episode with some emotions running within the teams. Ethan had such a focused attitude in this match. The score turned into a very close 29-28, well deserved (although a bit predictable imo).

The second half of Doushisha vs. Koufuuin, abrupts with Ibuki's massive injury. Yes that may have wavered Natsusa, but on field, the team HAS to work together to bear Ibuki's temporary loss and the overwhelming mental and physical torture.

Time to fight strength with strength, overcome and surpass limits in this final stretch! Pump those adrenalines up high!

Well, they made it predictable as always, the winning point to spare them from being the loser, total score: 29-28.

The spirit of camaraderie lives on these bishie boys hearts, for the better.

Well, at least it ended well.

Still, most of this series was nothing but pointless boringness. Try Knights was still better.

What was the mini-dream-Natsusa supposed to represent? His love for sport? There wasn't quite the build-up over the course of the show to make that scene ring emotionally true for me.

Overall this show felt a little too scattered among too many characters for me to connect with them, but I still enjoyed seeing them pull together at the end, and various players getting a chance to do well. Exciting plays are exciting. :)

Could've been. No sense denying that, yet I liked it enough. I don't understand how it is rated less than the Digimon reboot whose quality is below zero but whatever.

I hope there's a season too that will be more focused on less characters. Three of them, for example. Natsusa, Sei, Yasunari. I don't care too much about the others, honestly.

I hope that, if there's a season two, the same degree of displays of affection is portrayed, but I'd like for some characters not to blush because of them. Some, not all.

ayyyy they ended with a win (although expected lmao). Overall this show was pleasantly underrated. Well at least the Natsusa - Ibuki - Yasunari dynamic that went on. But hey, if Hanebado can still somehow be rated over 7 there must be hope for any sports anime out there

This anime started off quite good, but it got really boring towards the end. I was dying to drop this, but only one episode was left, so I decided to watch it anyhow.

Ibuki lost a lot of blood. He should have fainted a long time ago.

This need a sequel, I have to see if Natsusa will marry with Sei or Ibuki or both. You can't convince me they're not gay anymore.

The season was a little lackluster, but it finished decently.

The premise was interesting and promising, though it could have been done a little better.

That's what death is, don't you think?

It makes me sad to score this anime as just a 6 because Natsusa, Ibuki, Yuu & Yasunari were such brilliant characters but unfortunately the plot just let the whole thing down. I think there were too many characters that the anime tried to focus on and it made having a clear and meaningful plot difficult.

Oh dear it's over, I really liked Number24, honestly
I loved all the fights, especially this last one, it was so intense with great soundtrack to back it up! In the end when Sei lifted up Natsusa he sure had the smile of a God, really shipping those two now.

(Natsusa in episode 11: Amenbo akaina A-I-U-E-O!..
Natsusa in episode 12: Blue wrapping paper, red wrapping paper, yellow wrapping paper. Raw wheat, raw rice, raw egg!)

Thank you for bringing this show to us, I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping for a second season where we'll see our bois going to the nationals!

Have to say for an anime original this was pretty good.

Bit too many characters, some of whom I honestly didn't care, to follow but having Natsusa as main character was pretty enjoyable to watch especially his interactions with the others

It was a cliche ending but well, that was intended since it's supposed to be the uplifting one in spirit. It was entertaining. I liked the comedy relief with Ibuki's injury especially the players pounced on him in the end. Thanks to the injury now Taisei seems to have forgiven him - Lol.

The last 2 episodes are good, it's sad that they only show matches at the end.. it feels sports now, other episodes is like slice of life.. actually I support it even if it's only about shipping. Couples are cute here too. Natsusa is funny MC. I like him!

Before it even started, people already predicted it to be bad but after I finished it... It's good and entertaining :)

Yesssss, that final scene gave me thrupple vibes, I don't think Natsusa can choose lol.

Also, very nice ending, they left the best match for the last episodes, I really liked it!

I liked the ending and the series as a whole, a lot of fan service which I'm not complaining about. None of the characters really stood out to me and this definitely isn't a show I'm going to remember but nonetheless, it was still enjoyable. 6/10

The second half has started, Ibuki is contacted and has blood pouring from his dome, not a serious injury but seems like he was subbed out. The scrum goes well for the second time with a great display of team work, the ruck worked out well with the offload allowing Makoto to try.

In the end, Ibuki scored the game ending try leading 29-28. What a save, he managed to just get over the line avoiding a ruck.

Honestly looking past all the fan service the gameplay isn't that bad there aren't any special powers in play or characters that are villainous for no reason. If it didn't have that subtle fan service it could have been a showy but practical shounen sport anime too bad it was for a different audience. I really enjoyed the story but would enjoy more gameplay than lifestyle episodes even some rules for rugby or weight sessions/lessons.
