"Hey how are you doing ?" Indicus is a threatening character.
Poor Raynesia, her fate is horrible, arranged marriage is a terrible thing.
After watching 2 episodes my hype is back as it used to be during the very first season, I think I did a tattoo of this anime? I need to check my body, I dont remember if I had it removed when I went to Japan.
The Round Table is falling apart, I was sure it was going to happen, it felt too unstable. We are getting more informations about the dukes, interesting.

Fight not solved?

Wow, that lady's player looks crazy for wanting to be the top.

The person the princess is going to be married looks ugly and already assigned replacement. People happy about rich people, who might solve the problem.

There's no use for round table to be continue since the rich people going to solve the problem.

That blue hair guy in the end (also in the poster)

Gaa-tan is so adorable.
Meanwhile Indicus is the complete opposite of that.

Still got a bad feeling about the arranged marriage, interesting points brought out in the round-table meeting right there, really is a food of thought.
In any case, let's hope that Krusty will soon figured it all out and find the best way to prevent it, if that even possible.

A big pain is hidden in that serious face, that's for sure...

The first half of this episode really bored me, second half went by in a flash though. Will rayneshia sacrifice herself for the reconcilation of both nations? Wonder what Eins and Shiroe are gonna discuss hmmm

Wow this bitch is an insane sadist lmao. She wants to conquer everything so that she can see the faces of everyone getting trampled by a normal girl. That's quite the ambition.

This dumbass Eins is pissing me off. It's so obvious that he's getting used. Can't wait to see Shiroe make some masterplan to kick his ass. Thou wonder why he's meeting up with him. Hope he doesn't come to any agreement with him.

That girl’s face was weird and terrifying. People in Log Horizon’s irl faces are something else lol, I can’t get used to it. Eins left the round table, it looks like the guy behind him at the last scene has a big role in this season, or just in the next episode.

Am I the only one who was a built overwhelmed by all the info dropped on us this ep? I really appreciate the fact that they’re giving as much as possible from the LN and world building of course, but it was a bit much today. Felt like I was in a lecture.

Damn, Honesty leaving the round table can’t be good. Looking forward to seeing how Shiroe and Eins meeting goes

Well we got a bit of a history lesson as well as some explanation as to why things are going on like this.

Unlike most of the adventurers who many of them are educated people, the people of the land are more or less peasants with limited knowledge and abilities and are still bound by the cast system and dont know much about any other form of government.

The Round table was an alliance of the the top and most influential guilds but they were never really in charge of governing the area and its province at least not officially so to them having eins appointed as a duke and by someone that is related with the old dynasty is basically assuring them they are now secured and dont have to worry about being turned away or feel like refuges anymore.

Indix is still a lying manipulative schemer who relished in downgrading others for her ammusment as she was pretty much miserable in her old life and relishes the chance to belittle others. Their is also another factor in play but if say that now it will be a spoiler

this part is a spoiler so be warned

Eins might seem like an idiot and he is, but he truly is doing this as he thinks it would be better for everyone despite clearly he is being manipulated like a puppet by both plant hywaden and the westland nobility.

I know it might seem a bit boring now and lecturing and our main cast has not had screen time but be a little patient a little longer our boy shiroe and co will provide a solution and it will really give u that sense of good feeling you gotten in earlier seasons. :)

Hmm its nice to see Izusu and Rudy again after so long. Looks like the land had its fair share of tragedies in the form of the war against the Alvs. In the west looks like quite a lot has happened especially Nureha's rallying of her supporters to help the East. You know Intix's obsession was the very opposite of what the tea party was supposed to represent. Talk about a rushed marriage for Rayneshia though. In a way the life of a people of the land is pretty limited and depends largely on your own skills and abilities. But given how reliant Akiba is on the people any conflict with them will be a worst case scenario. The meeting with the now Duke though was a tense but also an interesting one. The secession of Honesty was as expected but the forming of a new government though was not.

I feel like Rayneshia will resist the marriage after hearing Crusty's message. This would cause a war to break out and force the Adventurers to take sides.

Well, seems like the round table is no more, but Eins wants to set up a proper government instead. Now I wonder what Shirou wants to ask Eins.

Man, what a heavy information dump these episode. I almost had a zero understanding here. Lmao. Damn those Intix looks like a typical villain, she was the true mastermind within the mastermind. Thats good shit.

Anyway, related to these episode, it may be more clear that these one connected much with the gap relations between the East and West. The history lesson already dumped. However, the Westelande used a provocative approaching by retaking the power of control at Akiba using the one-sided Duke's appointment. Chance get openned. Honesty had an internal problems. So, they easily manipulated him without even had any signifance rejection.

The People of the Land looked a complete dumb by acknowledging the puppet duke as their savior. While their truly savior, Round Table was never ever be at their minds. Its ironic, Round Table got back stabbed. Poor the Round Table, got cornered, and realizing it too late, as the rule changed drastically by something unexpected like that. They need to appointed a legal ruler, as how the People of the Land wanted. However, they still had an ace card called Princess Rayneshia. I guess, her decision to, finally, joined the Round Table conference, as a People of the Land representative, will be a good symbol to solved those complicated political manners.

Well, i know nothing. So lets see how far that marriage and duke plot developed these season stories....

I love how interesting the show gets from episode to episode.

I don't know what is really going to happen but judging from the frames in the opening Rayneshia may join whatever is left of the Round Table (we know from the series title that it will probably break or maybe reform?) which gives me a suspicion that two villains in glasses outweight one. (Crusty & Shiroe vs Indicus)

The situation at hand shoves Shiroe and the rest of Round Table out of their comfort zone, i expect major events to happen in the following episodes. But that is just my guess.

I love how Soujirou dissed Eins with that wonderful one liner of "How much are you getting paid".

If Shiroe keeps to his promise of opposing Nureha he needs to interrupt Minami plans.

I really hope that neither Eins or the other guy rules Akiba, and i think that the Round table might incorporate Raynessia to their organization in order to wrestle back the independence (somewhat) at least that's what i'd expect from the opening. Also curious how William is shown in the Round Table garb, even tho he was the first to leave for Susukino - might suggest some kind of partnership with the north? Anyways these are my hypothesis, if you have read this far have a nice day :)

What a massive info dump, and all of it I'm just uninterested in. I understand this is more political isekai than action, but when even the opening has no clear fights, I just feel so bored by this series. Also no Nyanta.

This might be the weakest sequel of this season...

idk how much content is in that volume but normal anime give 3~5 episodes at most for a volume.

Glad to see I’m not the only one feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the political info dump. No way I can remember all those names and history and who’s mad at who or a descendant of this or that family line, yada yada. I loved this show’s earlier season though, so I’m not giving up! Happy to see in some LN reader comments here that it gets more action-based later.
Thank goodness there isn’t a test on Log Horizon’s political history in order to watch the show, because I’d fail, lol.

Thx for that 1D villain motivation glasses woman, maybe later she'll develop something less pointless.
A problem with guaranteeing Akiba independence. Can't have just the Duke from Westeland, likely need Eastal to be more involved, or send a Duke to Akiba too, for a future gov to be balanced.

Ok, can someone remind me, why someone even has a power to appoint a noble on players occupied territories? Aren't they powerful enough to just annex it and kick any attempt of reconquering by NPCs? I can't get how current events are even a thing and why the round table didn't say "haha no get the hell out of here with your monarchist bs"?

They are trying to take the princess away, who is trusted by the people of the land and making Eins a duke, someone who can people of the land put faith in. With that, Eins is definitely top at the chain politically. I am interested in why Eins is talking to Shiroe in the end of the episode though.

After watching the previous two seasons I'm still having the courage to watch this one, I must have some kind of sadomasochist. I literally laughed at myself for watching this anime.

Now analyzing the beginning of the season, it was not the lowest point of this work, it can be said that it was good. Even though it was a little lukewarm in action. In general this work is calm and without direction.

I see this a lot and it really sits odd with me. What is so hard to follow? The rift and the issues with the round table and Eins have been around for so long. This anime examines mostly the social impact of people being stuck in a world together and how they try to make things work out. Everything happening is just a logical progression of what happened before.
The Adventurers are a considerable force of wildly powerful and unpredictable beings that throw the social and political aspects of this world crazy out of balance.
Hell in S1 one of the normal people of the land was granted the power of resurrection by an adventurer. Do you know what kind of impact that has if the world at large found out?
They created new music, ludicrously advanced technology and a culture from a snapshot of modern day Japan into what is really a feudal mindset. If they only focused on action I would be horribly disappointed, seeing how the adventurers existing here impacts the world is fascinating and I wish more anime in general investigated this.
GATE is another good example, though it is a little heavy with the harem-y or lewd parts but does some investigation around how these two being smashed together would play out.

I don't know why people find this boring or uninteresting so far, aside from the dearth of action and thrill, there's a lot to pick up on this from past episodes last 2 seasons.

Well this is a lot to take in! Political and power struggles everywhere, mass perception and opinion, legitimacy (heck they started the episode with asking Regan about the poltical history of Yamato), sovereignty, secession, government, ughhh...well it's probably all about politics in the end! Hmm this could be a good paper or essay for basic political science.
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,
