| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yup, Takumi's chance to show his skills to the world. The food contest theme is amuse-bouche which imo is a tricky dish to make. I think in this contest, Takumi is the underdog. Not surprised to see Souma enter all this drama in the heat of the battle. Pretty tense episode but I'm glad to see Takumi got his time to shine. A 3-0 victory is awesome too. |

| somehow I was disgusted by this episode. Congrats Aldini and Yukihira. After all, the bond between siblings is better than anything else, even if paired with anyone Aldini is still the best chef. I really want to eat pudding right now. Eehhh .... What's with that last scene, Nakiri vs Everybody...  |

| Alright so I’m finally caught up now. Watched the previous 70 plus eps in the past week and finished just in time for today’s ep. I’m now 8 episodes and wondering when I’m supposed to start not liking this arc? It’s definitely the worst of the lot, but I’m still really enjoying it. I guess that’s a testament to how much I love the series and characters. Today’s episode was really enjoyable, whenever Takumi and Soma team up it’s like Kobe and Shaq. Erina taking on the entire revenge group was dope too. |

This was a good episode overall though :) Yes this arc is lower on the spectrum but it's still amazing! So much unnecessary hate I don't understand. |

| I was feeling pretty uncomfortable during this episode. This Don guy was annoying as hell the entire episode and very sketchy! Did Don said unfair? Well, he took advantage in the whole situation which was very unfair to me and I laughed at the momeny the judge called him out XD Never understimate Takumi just because his brother wasn't there! I'm glad Yukihira showed up in time to save Takumi's ass and teach Don Kama a lesson. |

| tbf this episode actually wasn't as bad as the last few weeks. It was still pretty dumb and the enemy essentially got away with kidnapping, but at least we got to see souma and takumi tag team In manga, they ruined all of Erina's character development from the previous arc. Luckily the anime is doing better job in that aspect by skipping those scenes and its fascinating how the story can be improved by just editing out stuff |

| I would have liked to see Isami in the spotlight with Takumi but instead he got sidelined and Souma took his place, I had this same issue when reading this part in the manga. Oh well, this ended the way we all expected it to. |

| That whole first half, I want to unsee very quickly.... That was horrifying! Doesn't come to a surprise that Noir has some nasty foul play at their sleeves as well.. This episode did bring out something nice again. They really displayed perfectly the relationship Souma and Takumi have, they are rivals to the core and know how to bring out the best out of them when they are competing against each other. This team-up brought them to different heights cause of all those shokugeki's they did and it was amazing to see! That final scene with Erina though, she looks very worn out... I feel sorry for her.. I also want to know who this Bookmaster is but I already have a pretty good guess who it is! |

| Don Kama (a blonde Colonel Sanders in my eyes for some reason) and his "ladies" really brought out the cringe in this episode. It was still amusing, even if it was definitely overkill. XD Having said that, although others might be annoyed that Yukihira partnered up with Takumi, the episode still did a good job in showcasing how close the pair of them have gotten with the crazy amount of times they've battled each other, as was shown with the mezzaluna being passed between them more times than I would like to count. Plus, foodgasms are always sexy when Rantabi is part of them! =P |
| I actually kinda enjoyed teh Don Kama company lul, but first we had cooking that's not even cooking anymore, and now we have literal crimes taking place lmao (unless that happened before?) |

| This season just keeps bringing bullshit. The okamas were horribly written and cringey as fuck, and the kidnapping thing was just a poor and nonsensical plot device to make Souma look more like a badass by cooking with Aldini. Isami would have been more interesting to see with his brother, just to give some more screentime to different characters who are not Souma. I mean, it was nice to see some more of their rivalry, but everything that lead to that was bullshit, honestly. This episode proves again that very few anime can write okamas properly (Gintama, One Piece). Not that I love them, but if you include them in your work, at least try to make them interesting (like Bon Clay or Ivankov). 2/5 for me. |

| The Takumi/Yukihira collaboration cooking was pretty good, but the first half of the episode with the 'villains' made this episode a pretty uncomfortable watch imo. |

| Jesus Christ, while getting down to the reply thread button I seen the word cringe so many times. Just go watch latest netflix or amazon shows and come back and we talk about cringe. I was taken by surprise with Soma coming out as the partner, I had in my mind there would be a wild battle to rescue the brother and he come in while the other was waiting. Although nice take that the person in charge of Blue is actually neutral and allowed the change. Let the food wars continue!! |

| with so many times Souma & Takumi fought , it's no doubt that their tag team would be the same level at with his brother Isami! but looks like Saiba Asahi became stronger again since Don Kama gave his speciality utensil! 4/5. |
