Elder millennial who thinks the quality of characters is what makes or breaks a show. Relatable is nice I guess, but unnecessary. Characters with rich development who are entirely different from yourself are a fascinating peek at a different way of experiencing life. Fixating on relatability, IMO, is a sign of an empathy deficit.

That being said... I'm a former Hishiro (ReLife) with a huge Hiroko streak (Hataraki Man) and I think Riza and Roy (FMAB) are #RelationshipGoals.
