| The end of the current arc is already quite questionable because (for me) it was the beginning of the disaster that was the last arc. All that final arc is an insult to his characters and everything seen before in Shokugeki no Soma. I hope JC Staff changes (PLEASE) the final arc or better yet they just don't adapt it. |

| Anime only, so I'm really curious to find out why it becomes so terrible. Personally, I didn't like the previous season too much, compared to the others. Erina's father was a total jump the shark moment. Stereotypical villain. He's like Aizen. |

Huh ya got me curious, what happened in Kuroko no Basket that was just as bad? And yes its a problem. Its amazing how serial escalation can majorly effect on a detrimental level series that are technically grounded. |

| The biggest issue with the current arc is that moreso than previous arcs, a lot of the foods made seem to show less of the chefs personality so a lot of the battles lose some of their interest. As for the future arc..... that's a long rant that I don't feel like getting into, but it got me to stop reading after following the manga religiously for over 2 years. |

| I found the previous cour (last 13 episodes previous season) already boring. It has gotten a bit repetitive I think ... But thb after a long break this first episode here felt great again. Nice OP. Good action (clothins getting torn) and the atmosphere and recruiting of that ramen guy were nice. I think it is better to have a bad end and last arc than having some endlessly running thing. (And really good finales are rare in anime I think.) Now looking forward to how bad it gets since I don't know the manga. (Scorewise it is still pretty high though. I guess it is because the full thing gets cored while here in the anime some of the better stuff might be in the previous seasons.) |
