Heyo!!! I'm a relatively new anime watcher, started watching anime 2017, but didn't really started getting into it until december of 2018. Started my anime journey with My Hero Academia, but has since moved away from shounen and into more slice of life and drama.
Though I still do watch action shows, It's mostly due to my philosophy that a good and educated anime watcher must be able to watch any genre of anime, and see what's good in them.
With that being said though, I have a big knack for Slice of life comedies, Romance, and drama anime as you may be able to tell from my anime list.
My favourite thing about anime is the powerful themes and messages that anime can send, and how the characters and story develops speaks volumes about us, and the people around us. Kinda like your typical anime critic that dives into the core of an anime and tries to analyze the hell out of it, and is why I love character driven dramas, and brilliantly written animes like Hellsing Ultimate. Finally, I'm also a slice of life guy, and love the fluff that they bring.

I can't remember exactly when I had joined, although I do remember one of the animes that I had seen, which was Baoh, although it didn't have any subtitles, so we had to guess what the characters where saying. Maybe when the club is up and running maybe you can join, which might be in September.
