| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, this show's shift to a more relaxed, lighthearted school life setting changed the mood a lot. Bela herself didn't change much as a character. Felt bad for her when some of the other older guys were intimidating her though. The action was alright this episode, although not groundbreaking imo. |

| Good episode. i liked how story rich it was and we get the whole backstory of the bella (looks i mean!) in one episode. That interview part with the high school friends was smart, they saved a lot of animation work and episode time by going with that style. Anyway this is a nice show, hopefully it get better and more interesting later on. |
| Interesting episode. We got some depth to Bela exploring her relationship with the idea of being human. I guess we will be getting some layers as the series progresses. Still not completely sold on it but it does have a few points of interest. |

| Damn that Elaine is cunning AF, I think it was just jealousy though. Bela was really gonna do away with her if it wasn't for Bem. I think Belo is next though, pretty interesting character. This was better than the opening episode, maybe because Summers didn't have that much screen time! |

| The darker tone and the focus on the Bem trio definitely was the highlight this episode. Bela was contemplating about living the life of a human, knowing full well that they borrow the aspects of humans, living their deceased vessels. She's a cool character though. Beholding justice, beheading betrayal. Justice is served, and Upper is no substitution for an alternative world, similar to the world we live in. A terrifyingly good episode, even better than the pilot episode. In fact, I'll take any episode WITHOUT Summers. Next week, it's Belo's turn. |

| The sudden supernatural bowling guy felt off. I wasn't expecting the woman to have connections like to anything supernatural. The police and Ana were both investigating about Mary at the same time. It was too weird for a co-incidence. The last episode made the meeting look a lot more natural. Well, this episode was still more enjoyable than the last one. Hope this keeps getting better. |

| They wasted that hot blonde lady by that comical, out of place bowling guy, smh. Anyway, it's still a pretty good episode, focusing on Bella this time. She's really cute tho. I wonder why no characters (beside her classmates) questioning her appearance (elf ears and wearing gloves all the time(this is sexy tho)) Looks like they can transform more when they lose control |

| I really liked this episode. The atmosphere was very different from the pilot and I loved this high school/college setting. Bella's backstory was an interesting part of the story. I also like the fact that the episodes are named after a quality of the demon. I guess it was obvious who the 'liar' in this one was. So as a result, I was not surprised but enjoyed the search nonetheless. |

| So not a story about protecting people from Yokai, damn it forgot its whole premise in 2 episodes. WTF was that bowling ball jerkoff supposed to accomplish. This was lazy writing coincidence central station. |

| That was a pretty good backstory imo. Bella was pretty chill on the couch buck naked in a coat lol. I just don't understand why she had to go into a second form when she could have trashed the chick in her first anyway (guess she was pretty pissed, rightly so). Nonetheless it was nice of Bem to prevent her from murdering. I ship her with the boy who draws her too. Gotta admit the bowling dude got me off guard as well. |
| You know what I really, really like about a good story. When there's actual character development in the SECOND episode. Very rare that you see something like that. Her transition from acting like her other female classmates to acting like 'Mary' was a nice evolution. I'm excited to see where this show goes. Also her monster form is badass. |

| This series falls flat on its face at some parts, but is otherwise pretty good. I'm enjoying the art and chemistry between Bem, Belo, and Bella. This episode was decent. It felt weird to be in a cheerful, bright school setting after just being in the melancholy and monochromatic lower city. The villain in this ep was so over the top evil that it was incredibly difficult to take him seriously. The demon forms of the main three still end up looking like early 2000's cartoon villains, but I kinda like them that way. Bella's probably my favorite character right now, I'm hoping we end up focusing on Belo in the next episode. He seems like a fun character. |
| I love the atmosphere of the first episode, the second one lost that but it showed us more what the main characters are and what mostly this is about, but what's the only thing I like is the banger jazz opening. It's 6/10 but for obvious reasons. |

| Wow... wow... I was really into this... I was really into this... and then a man capable of transforming in a bowling ball appeared... the first guy, I can take, but the sheer stupidity of this guy's design completely ruined the episode for me. But the red haired girl's monster design at the end was cool. Thanks to @Vaniyaa for pointing out the music, I went back and listened and just sort of died laughing for a moment, that is now the best part of the episode. |
