| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First episode is out. Seems like a full length show and we got introduction of the main cast so far from this episode. (cute female cast so far) There's a bit of action too but I wasn't impressed by the CGI. Asuka seems like a very friendly girl from the main cast. I think this is a somewhat peculiar so for the series but hoping it will surprise me soon. I'm also curious to know more about the other members of the "Crystal Radio Club". |

| OP is awesome tho. CGI is.. lets say its better than the show I dont want to talk about *cough* Madhouse's Overlord *cough* and since this is an original series I really hope it give me something to wow at. |

| Not sure what to make of it right now. On the one hand, the premise looks predictable but maybe there's something else that can get us hooked. The opening creates a better atmosphere than the whole 1st ep so far. |

| Went in with no expectations but this has me interested. I liked this better than the first episode of Slime (well, that was only exposition so it will probably get to the real meat soon). Nice girl squad we got here, different personalities interacting. The ''different world'' premise makes for some mystery, seems like two of the same exist (maybe even more if they actually have more different worlds than that). Fight scene was not bad. The world the ''fighting Asuka'' is in was in shambles. That can't be good, maybe she wants to go back immediately to not cause the same disaster in the other world? OP was cool, has a dark tone to it.. |
| Quite the interesting ritual they were attempting. Asuka is quite the willful and daring girl though. Nana's comeback to the lecture sure was funny. Their second attempt sure took them to quite the unique world that was both curious and dangerous. That battle sure was impressive and intense. It was interesting seeing present day Asuka interact with her opposite number though. Hmm an interesting first episode that had a good combo of mystery and action. |

| *sigh* Well, I actually enjoyed it. I didn't have expectations so it turned out pretty good. I'm definitely checking out future episodes. I feel like there's more to the story... Hopefully. The OP was good. Also the CGI isn't that great, but it dosent bother me too much, I could still follow the battle scene. I'm just kinda old school in this area and I wish they'd use less, at least in this series. But like I said it was good. (P.S: I have a small crush on Mia Silverstone ^^.) |

| Decent first episode, not sure if I will go further than episode 2 for now but the character and setting introduction were good enough, I would have prefered some fanservice from being skipped tho. Honestly I'm mostly trying this out because Nao Touyama is here, and I have to say that I'm immensely satisfied with the teacher, who got angry at everyone but the girl voiced by her, truly a man of culture and I couldn't avoid thinking of High Score Girl lmao. |

| It seems that the girls want to travel to another world. Chloe is receiving the method to go there. In that world, they met Asuka's alternate self. She saves them and passes out in the original world. In the end, she returns to their world. Mmmmm. The episode have a slow pacing and the girls feel generic. |

| A lot more fun than I was expecting. Character interaction among the main cast was actually pretty funny and expressive. Weird MC, weird friends who don't take things too seriously, cassette player armor...I'm digging it. Taking a step back, all of it is cliche but I didn't even think about it while watching, because it was structured fairly well. Hopefully they don't fuck it up. |

| Seems intriguing, first thought it was a slice of life but it quickly turned into a more serious show. I found it hilarious how they bribed their teacher to let them go. XD What's with the cassette recorders in this day and age? Did I miss them mentioning a timeline or something? The production quality is decent, the CG didn't really bother me too much. Will stick around for more. |

| Mediocre animation Mediocre art (though with some nice backgrounds) Poor sound design Weak storyboarding The one saving grace is that there's interesting ideas. I suspect though that's because the original concept was created by Kotaro Uchikoshi and then was handed off to a less competent writer. The fact that there's also two directors, neither of whom have a lot o f directorial experience, doesn't bode well for the show. I don't have high hopes for this show and suspect that they're trying to attract attention with Uchikoshi's name but I'll keep up with it regardless. Also, with a mask shown early on, the fact that there's five of them, and that there was a transformation scene, I think this is going to be slightly inspired by Super Sentai Edit: I went back and watched the OP since some of you were going on about it. I feel whoever storyboarded it never listened to the song and that it was the most cookie cutter OP I've ever seen. The song was fire though |

| Eh, what should i say. It wasn't bad, but wasnt't good either. The story follows a group of girls in the radio club. One of them belives they can go to diffrent world with a radiostation and a glowstick. But one of them finds a stone connects it to something and suddenly, they got to another world, only to be attacked by some little monsters. And so comes what seems to be and older version of the main character and saves them. They go back and the older version of the main faintes. The main girl takes her home, and she sleeps over. Next day old main goes back, and then the episode ends. 1 episode 7/10 |

| Dafuq did I just watch? This went from having a CGDCT vibe to having a weird battle schoolgirl edge with Madoka vibes. So far the only impressive thing was the insert song for the fight scene and the OP song. Everything else was a mixed bag. Definitely a 3 episode rule. A solid 2.5/5 for me. |

| I thought it was really lame and boring. I strongly dislike the cast, the dialog was very forced and fake feeling. "this person must be from another world, because she's me!" It tried way too hard and fell on its face, I'll pass. |
| Episode one was certainly something a bit different than any recent anime I've watched. I think people are being a bit too cynical and critical just based off episode one. (It's probably going to be a solid 6-7/10) |

| The yellow animals that want to eat people somehow gave me Yuuki yuna vibes. Anyway, still don't know what's going on... but I like the character designs and voice acting.. so will stick around to watch some more episodes. |
| Symphogear? Design-wise quite good, stylish suburban autumnal atmosphere, very good. Quality-wise though, extremely worrying. Sloppy cuts here and there, still cuts, close ups, and some very underwhelming 3D scenes. And it's only the first episode. I see some potential though, so I'm with it. Deserves a better score dammit. I'll be more than happy with an alternative Punch Line, although the visuals look much less competent than that one |
