| What makes it stand out for me is the direction of the fight scenes and some scenes that are so well thought out that it makes them funnier like the one from the 5th episode where Hikari keeps appearing after Mahiru bends over or gives a little bit of space just enough for her to pop up which made the scene memorable for me. I'd say that it's nothing like Love Live, I don't really see any significant similiraties between the two apart from them containing singing characters. I'd say it's more like Symphogear honestly. I also don't agree with those downsides. Introducing a lot of characters in a single episode isn't really new. Besides, they give out separate episode for these characters introduced to give them more background. As for it being rushed, I honestly don't feel that way. I'd say their taking their time and the pace feels fine. My problems with the show is the fact that despite having pretty amazing scenes, I don't feel sympathetic about the characters nor do I even know the value of what their fighting for is worth and it would have been nicer if the characters sung while fighting rather than music in the background. I'd think it would make those scenes much more amazing. |

| It is ok show. I give it 6/10 or 7/10 max. THere is far better anime in this season, like Banana Fish which in my opinion deserve much higher popularity and ranking (it is better than overlord and hero academia) ALso, I disagree with the guy who said Planet with. That show is pure garbage. |

As far as ep 4 of Banana Fish, it's fine, nothing special tho, idk for the rest of the episodes, these american style anime like Banana Fish/91 days etc don't appeal to me tho cause I feel like they're too cliche without any new ideas. For Starlight, it's pretty unique and original, I've never seen an anime that I could compare it to, some say Utena but sadly I haven't watched that nor do I think I wanna watch an 1997 anime. :/ Each have their taste, I think for you to love this anime you need to like/tolerate the moe trope, appreciate the animation and ost, especially Japanese, if you were to watch it Dub then I think it destroys the point of watching this anime, and obviously pay attention to the small details that they give every single episode that foreshadow things that will happen episodes later. |
