| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Tbh, it didn't feel like much changed after the confession drama from the previous epsiode. The usage of the piano music made this episode feel really melancholic. I kinda like the bonding between the girls this episode. We also got some more baseball game. Haruto is also taking everything well, more than I had expected. |

| The episode was a bit awkward with the main characters not wanting to go to school because of what happened in the previous episode. Still it did seem they solved some of the issues from the previous episode but they still have a lot going on. They are still learning about live and it's nice to watch. The baseball game was funny as well. |
| Ah the awkwardness after a confession/fight, especially for people that are part of the same class. Now that's something I don't miss from high school heh. We got more insight about why Morikawa refused Haruto, which makes perfect sense. She barely knew him, she doesn't have experience about love and she is going to move after graduation. However she did say that she has been thinking about him ever since that day. So he does have a chance still. The text at the end looks promising for him. Mio on the other hand is becoming more aware of Eita; whom is getting stalked by Ena. But still clueless. Eita is a good friend, he managed to cheer up Haruto in the baseball game. But he should think more about his circumstances too. |
| Eita should be more honest about himself. Unlike him, Natsume's starting to take action. Smiled quite a bit with the baseball scene. |

| Morikawa actually misses Soma now, been thinking about him all the time. Looks to me like she was not ready for it and she feels like she isn't still but she has feelings for him. Doesn't know how to deal with it though since it's her first experience. Eita and Natsume being so awkward together now, hopefully they get back on track, i liked them together in this episode. Music is really nice. |
| There was some awkwardness after what happened last episode. Mio got a bit jealous when she saw Eita with Ena. Got to know why Hatsuki rejected Haruto, which makes sense. She barely knows him and is going to be moving away after graduation. The baseball scenes was fun to watch. Haruto is cheered up a bit after getting rejected. He had a nice moment with his mother. |

| Morikawa's reasoning behind rejecting him was pretty sound so I'm not mad but I still feel bad for Soma :( And likewise for Eita However, I'm hoping that Soma agrees to meet with Morikawa so that she can explain things properly, but at the same time I hope that somehow they can still be together since it looks like she does like him but just doesn't know how to deal with it and where to go from here since she's going off to college And I'm patiently waiting for Natsume to at least confess to Soma as well so that we can get everything out in the open (Likewise with Eita too - But I think he should at least wait until she tells Soma first)....I want my boy Eita to be loved by the girl that he's loved all this time, they're so good together too man >.< |

| Kinda frustrating to have a slow-down episode at this point, but I suppose it was kinda inevitable. Still, there was actually a fairly decent amount happening here, with both Morikawa and Natsume deciding to be up-front about everything with Soma, albeit for different reasons; I would've preferred, for the purposes of character development, for either of them to have decided to do so of their own accord rather than having to be prompted to, but I guess this is fine. Also, it was some refreshing honesty from Morikawa to get her reasons for rejecting Soma, as ultimately everything she said is, objectively speaking, essentially correct. However, the fact that they put that scene in makes me wonder if she's going to maintain such a rational stance on things, or if emotions will later triumph over that rationale. Also, I'm starting to like the chemistry between Komiya and Eita more and more, but I can't help but feel that it's not going to work out between them, for some reason; possibly because it seems like the show is subtly pushing Eita and Natsume together (I base this off my previous point about the possibility of Morikawa's rational rejection of Soma being overwritten by emotions later on, which would then leave things open for Eita and Natsume to end up together). That's not what I want to happen at all, but it feels like that's what the show is steadily gravitating towards already. |
| this was an enjoyable episode, i liked seeing pretty much all our main characters being down, the constant eita suffering is pretty much synonymous with the show as a whole now, I am rooting pretty hard for him going foreword though i really wonder where they are going to take the show with him, i do feel like its really 50/50 that things could just remain unrequited. |

| These first episodes feel like the sad ending to a happy show (that doesn't exist). The baseball game/after party showed how Soma is moving forward after the rejection, and finding a place in the world that he fits in. It's not surprising that a more realistic approach to high school romance tries to highlight the crossroads in life during the later years of school. I just wish it was a more insightful rather than peering into the lives of a bunch of blank-faced mannequins. |

| New school term, everyone a bit awkward, sad and focused on their exams except haruto who has to go work but they the girls decide to talk to them again to get over what happened. Izumi saving the glove and the baseball outing cheers haruto up :) |

| I just realized how much I love the art style in this series. This is an example how CGi should be used. I love the atmosphere too. 5/5 episode. |

| I guess the lot reached an awkward status quo, unfortunately not with an ante suffix. At least I can feel a slight sizzle between Natsume and Izumi, more so than before. Although various relationships may not be as stagnant as they seemed. Not enough Komiya, though. |

| Pretty feelsy episode but... Wew... what happened to the production quality? At least it's soundtrack can't get any worse. Wish Komiya wasn't a side character, Izumi and her are great together. Looks like Natsume is going to eventually ruin things between Morikawa and Souma who both seem clueless about her feelings. Was expecting Morikawa to discuss a completely different topic. |
