| An adaptation of a game centered on finding contradictions would obviously have a nit picky fan base. Yes, I'm aware of ISPY in Edgeworth's office and yes, there are many things that bothered me, but in all honesty, this episode was better than the last one. I definitely liked the OST a lot better, but my biggest complaint is the overuse of Sakura trees and petals and the censorship of blood. Like, Mia was killed there has to be at least some blood if not a pool of blood! Maya's name couldn't have been on the receipt if there wasn't any blood but yet they did show that tiny bit of blood. Which also brings me to the point where they mentioned that it WAS receipt which really defeats the whole reveal and connection later on. Okay, but all complaints aside, I think there's hope for this adaptation if they keep the pacing like this. I hope they don't skip over any cases in this game because they're all pretty good, with the DL-6 case being the best; if they plan to continue the series, I hope the only case they skip is the circus one from the second game; geez I hated that one. |

| Good episode, I like their backstory and I look forward to next episode when he stands against Mitsurugi. But.. does just about everyone in this series know each other? I take it Mayoi isn't the girl from flashback as she is 7 years younger than him, right? So, was that 3 years older Chihiro? |

| This was much more better than the first episode, I actually did liked it. Still, WHY would they skip the conversation with April May? Im going to give it a 6-10, Animation is still kind of weird, and Phoenix Backpack and bike somehow make me really nervous (Yes) But im all seriousness, is 8/10. Is mainy because back when making the first game the game script writer and director (Shu Takumi) prepared the game in exchange so that it could be translated, he dint filled too much the script of the first game with cultural references as he thought they would be localized. But since localization had to wait untill the DS re-release, the second and third game got their big share of cultural references |

| I love Maya in this episode so much! She's the best character in the entire series. And when Phoenix showed up to the detention center with a list of all the attorneys he looked into, it reminded me of how awesome his and Maya's relationship is. It's a shame that this anime isn't doing too well in the ratings. I think that'll change as it progresses. |

| Wow, I still can't believe that Mia died. I thought that she would be part of the whole series since it showed her in the opening with Phoenix. Poor Maya though. "Framed" for something that she didn't do. It looks like Phoenix and Edgeworth knew each other from somewhere. Maybe they were classmates from before? To be honest, I feel like the comedy just kills the vibes. It just feels kind of out of place and forced. Haha, maybe I just have no sense of humor. |

| Really enjoyed this way more than the 1st episode. Comedy does feel a bit out of place to be fair, considering the situation they are in. Looking forward to the court room battle next week. |

| Yeah they're really intended to show the Steel Samurai statue and the already received King of Prosecutor's trophy in Edgeworth's office. Probably a hint that they'll skip the 3rd case and Rise of the Ashes. Nooooo But I really want to see how they're gonna adapt the 4th case NewHJ said: I still don't know if Mia is really dead or if it's just a very strange plan, related to the big case she was talking about. By the way, the characters need more emotion. Phoenix Wright barely feel her death, for example. She's really dead. I agree though about the emotion part, because he just lost his dearest mentor. |

| This episode was much better than the first. The ost also improved a lot it seems, it made feel the situation more. Love the build up and I can't wait to see how they solve it too. Also, Fey was sooooo cute. They did a good job with her character at least (I knew the VA would be perfect for her anyway). RIP her sister. .. I'm also quickly getting used to Phoenix's voice too. |

| I didn't know Mia was murdered until the news said she was. I thought she was only knocked out, nope dead. The episode was alright but I'm just wanting to see how he defends Maya more than anything. Next episode is really going to be the one were I can tell if I'm going to like this show or not. |

| You had me at Steel Samurai Ballad. I was actually choking to death at that scene. The whole murder thing was so simply done and built that I might actually be complaining a bit. But this was a far better episode than the first so not gonna do. I'm glad we got a lot of crying Maya, my favorite baby. She's so cute, save her, Phoenix damn. |
