Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay here! There's not much to show around, nevertheless here's a little guide to aid you as you navigate around my anime list.
Rating Scale Analysis:
I am trying to setup a rating system for myself, which is still rather premature:
10 - MIND BLOWN.
9 - Has something extraordinary to set itself apart from the others, yet still lack very minor things to become a masterpiece.
8 - Very decent, possessing qualities that puts it above average shows, yet lack the special feeling to it to escalate into a 9.
7 - A good and enjoyable watch, but that's about it.
6 - It was okay, some parts are a bit boring and dull.
5 - Meh, either suffer from a cliché plot, or has some major flaws. Still bearable to watch.
4 - Below average, can be cringe-worthy at times, enjoyment level is poor.
3 - Argh, flaws everywhere, hardly able to keep me watching.
2 - Pretty much drop-able from the very start due to the many flaws it has.
1 - Total garbage.
Most of my shows range around 5-8, I am trying to make 9 and 10 being "outstanding" scores that only shows that I really like are able to achieve. Understandably, I don't have many shows rated 1-4 as it is very likely that I will not even bother with the anime that I do not have any interest on.

Thank you for the playlist, played the first episode; for a fan-made anime it's not half bad. The OP is so sweet and intense at the same time! I'm not yet in the mood for anime, but I saved it in order to check it (why is it not among MAL's database though :/)! The girls' cute witch looks by the way are cool.
Hey again! Pocket Mirror's story begins inside a dark gloomy mansion-like (?) building, where the girl protagonist wakes up without any recollection whatsoever. She solely has the pocket mirror from her mother with her (and is important for the plot) and tries to find her way through this building and remember.
It is a mystery horror game whose graphics are essentially like an old-school Nintendo RPG game (think of something like Pokemon, Sword of Mana, Golden Sun, etc...), and where the girl must solve various puzzles by being observative and careful at the same time; pay attention to any hint or description in-game, plus search carefully. A wrong choice or lack of thinking or observation spells death, it is necessary to save whenever the player has the chance.
As for your Touhou combilation, heard both; the vocal medley one in particular I found to be very cool! By the way, I recall that all the minions and the bosses are female yokai? Speaking of Touhou, I love Bad Apple, but this mix of it in particular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lNZ_Rnr7Jc (I also have saved a Madoka-themed version that I adore)
Not sure whether I will check any game these days, but if you can recommend me something I might check it out on Steam or elsewhere eventually ;)
Thank you for your kind words! Though I don't know whether Watanabe's works are all better in English, I recall the Bebop movie's dub being sublime (especially Spike's VA). Though the thing is I found other anime to be better in dub: FMAB, Code Geass, Baccano..
Haven't played Touhou games, but an acquaintance of mine is into it and tells me that the games are insanely difficult with their demon girl bosses. If you can tell me more, feel free! Have you heard of an indie game named Pocket Mirror btw?
Hello, thank you for your request! I'll consider the C&T dub recommendation, all in all I might not check seasonals until they are finished for a while.
You like Touhou? Haven't played any game, but from its music I love the Bad Apple (as well as AMVs with it).
meh i didn't feel kaleidoscope did a very good job a lot was cut or removed for the plot to add in fanon rather then keep to the canon. for instances Flandre character was TO innocent. and was not at all what her canon version was like and having her fight reimu and marisa at the same time as remilia was kind of awkward. considering that they did not fight Patchouli twice. Cirno was not THAT easy to get passed. not to mention all the stuff they cut out for touhou 7. and they didn't have Cirno fight the Goliath doll just okuu when in reality Cirno had to retreat from that fight. they also left out the entire suwako vs sanae which was the best part of hisotensoku besides the catfish dreambattle.
also the mess of a plot for the sake of fanservice is my exact problem with Kaleidscope. it takes away from the actual story to make fan jokes in the show. such as koakuma being obsessed with patchouli. or having reimu be completely lazy during an incident when its canoncly stated she loves poking her nose into peoples business during an incident.
i feel that touhou 9 was just completely skipped only keeping in the fan jokes for that game. which i found sad because it had one of my favorite story line with shiki eiki.
it would be nice if it took the fights seriously for once rather then having reimu use haxsign every fight. when fantasy heaven is restricted to her last word.
out of all the kaleidoscope fights i only like the sakuya vs reimu.
(also why is maria's master spark so underwhelming in the faname :\)
and flandre was not at all that important to the plot as the Kaleidscope made her out to be.
as she only appeared after the incident was resolved and not before. i feel they screwed with the plot to much for the sake of the creators favorite characters to have more screen time.
personally i enjoyed Sealed Esoteric History more. as for suika or Yuyuko being on the moon. well it never said they weren't there or that they were there. besides Yuyuko in silent sinner in blue seems to know her way around the moon. and yukari and suika know each other from the past so they must have met at some point. although where it was at the moon war or not is up for debate.well i felt yuyuko was on point
as she acts childish but can be quite serious at times as well. suika was not nearly drunk enough. then again we don't know what she might have been like before she showed up in gensokyo
besides i am not talking about the games themselves but anime for things like forbidden scrollery or the three fairies manga's would be fine as anime.
besides the two "canonish" fanime
my favorite would be the completely fanmade Summers day dream.
she was not just my touhou waifu, she was my everything waifu, i used to prioritize her images (i have like 10,000, no joke) and buying merchandise of her, online and at conventions XD
even since 2013 i don't think another character has caught up in either area.. defintiely not the images lol
yea.. shes just... not that anymore.. but shes always gonna be my favorite Touhou character
About the same, but on Christmas day, it was all easygoing here with a lot of kids popping firecrackers and fireworks. I also had a special cake for the holidays and it was made of plantain.
