We go from Athena's house then suddenly to the icy place with some girl. And *yawn* when everyone showed off their auras. What a stupid way to waste time. I hope the whole arc won't be this slow :c |

| I heard this was the pattern to saint seiya... hopefully next arc they don't only have 12 hours to beat the enemy. Monochrome said: Ye agreed. Hyoga said he was going to Asgard but I didn't think it would happen so fast. And the whole thing with Freya happened too quickly; she wasn't even introduced properly.Geez it almost felt like I skipped a few episodes before this one. | Yeah, I was definitely confused in the beginning of the ep wondering how we jumped from Athena's house to Asgard so quickly. It kinda left a lot of question marks from the last episode..like why would Athena go to Asgard with only the Bronze Saints and Kiki? Ikki isn't even with her! I didn't care for how this episode was crafted..but I guess we have to keep in mind that the same person who directed the episodes of the Sanctuary arc is not the same as the one directing the episodes in the Asgard/Poseidon arcs. |

| So the sanctuary arc had Saori prove to the Gold Saints she herself was Athena as they overthrew Saga. And now that she has the Gold Saints behind her, their duty is to defend her and do her will, she goes into the enemies base with three bronze saints and Kiki. Makes sense. That ones going to take quite a bit of explaining. I think I've seen this episode before. Saori is giving the bronze saints, only three currently but two on their way, a time limit to defeat enemies much stronger than them in one on one fashion going off the preview where Seiya shouts "go on ahead without me". The enemy is someone who represents the god the people follow so it would be heretical to not follow their words. This manipulating villain has an evil force impacting them to act in the way they are and they want to take over the entire world and maybe the universe. Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah, its a reskinned rerun of the last arc. I have not seen such shameless recreation before, normally they try to at least alter some things... This episode was rushed as well cutting directly to Asgard with Freya together with Hyoga for us to fill in the blanks. Remember when he went back to where he trained and we saw the people being used as slaves, and we had him run into his Eskimo pal from which he learned about what's happened and then he went to seek out Crystal Saint and ended up fighting him? My point is I much prefer when we get to see it like this rather than a cut right to the action. Athena shows up right around the start and then it cuts and comes back and all our Saints are there now. And after all this rushed stuff we get a stand off with the God Warriors and our Saints that goes on far too long for the fight to not actually begin. I only disliked the second half of this episode for the most part because of what I said above. The first half gave us some much needed world building that I was happy with and a cool Hyoga fight scene. Hilda is a priestess of Odin, a title that's chosen and has been for generations, and it's her job to spend day in and day out praying to Odin to maintain the glaciers. If she stops then the glaciers melt and the world gets flooded and goes into destruction. We have a similar system here to Sanctuary where Hilda has guards and the people respect her since their god is Odin and she is representation of him. This is all well and good, I just wish the actual plot direction here was a tad bit different at the least. However, we have seen some drastic changes in what we'd expect to be the plot already in the past. Namely how Ikki attacked the tournament and stopped it in its tracks. We already know Hilda isn't the main villain so I wouldn't say it's impossible that this new arc could take an interesting direction and change up when we least expect it. Lol @ Ikki just not being around as always. |
| I feel everything progressed well. But I have only one question: How did Hyoga exactly find Freya?(Coz I know from last episode that Hyoga went to Asgard to inspect the condition there...But how did he locate himself with Freya so suddenly?!), I hope we find answers in the upcoming episodes. |

| I wasn't totally sold just yet after the last ep 74, but this ep defo got me sold on this arc! Excited to see how it pans out! |
