Oh the director...he be so fired up for some things.

Overall, decent episode and I thought it conveyed the main themes well such as character designs. I like how some of them debate ideas but are having fun while doing so. Moe designs? :p and holy shit, that last scene this episode was quite something. Even I'm somewhat surprised by the imagination.

In both episodes now I've been initially overwhelmed by the huge cast of characters but then get drawn in to what's going on anyway. :D

DAMN! I wonder if every anime studio staff meeting is like that (my guess: no).
This show is hilariously meta: "how do they pick the voice actors?" "auditions" "really!?"

This series give such realistic vibe until they put that "arupin is here" scene.
I wonder what they take? xD

Not a bad episode. The characterization slighly improved from the last one. Since the cast is huge, that seems to be the only way to make the characters stand out.

Didn't expect the OST to be anything special, but the tracks they played during some of the conversations were nice.

I guess I'll continue watching this for now.

PA Works has really come back since Glasslip. Also that piano piece at the end of the ep was really great.

Wow, I really enjoyed this wayyyy more than I expected XD Was quite absorbed in the way the ep was going :O

Loved seeing how hectic everything goes when the director has spontaneous spurt of emotions to change a scene XD

The characters are all quite fun too ^^

Nxt ep About recaps? Awesome!! Can't wait to see how that goes :3

wow it just goes to show how much thought is put into the character designs -- how they speak, how they interact with other characters, and how they express their emotions. i also like how the voice actors can make very subtle changes in the tone of their voice to completely change how a sentence is being conveyed. overall im really enjoying this show so far and feel like it'll be a good learning experience.

This episode was hilarious they way they where arguing about the characters was great, and it's still great to see how much work they put in the animation.
And off course everything that happens in anime it's also nice to see that the others girls are working hard as well.
I wonder if we get to see their careers as well.

I used to have a co worked who was 30 but she was often mistaken for a 17 year old because of her looks.

Nice episode, better than the first one, still has that initial d moe opening.
Arupin is 29, wat????? That's a bit weird...
But after I watched that "Arupin is here" scene I was like WAT?????? Seriously P.A?

Watching an anime production inside an anime is cool and different. P.A.Works surely is trying to improve after their Glasslip failure.
Definitely I want to watch more from this show.

I've dropped this, as I personally don't think it's funny or entertaining at all.
Just feels like I'm watching paint dry.

Why did it look more like an otaku meeting than a reasonable work schedule discussion? Because it was :). The director deserves to be pushed from the fifth floor several times. I didn't like how trying to resolve his personal drama made the character more appealing, but intimate instead. The "intelligence" part was brilliant, though.
The best part perhaps was that they are humans like us in the end.

A monthly girl meeting next. At least three of the girls indeed work in the anime industry. Let see what is to come, in the year 300 000 000 AD :)

Why is age 29 weird? Is that the forbidden anime age?

It's weird because she looks like she's around 16. xD

This was a really charming episode, and much better than the first. I liked seeing everyone get passionate about their work and have a good time. More of that, and I think this show will really start to grow on me. :D

The "Arupin is Here" scene was a bit jarring though.

Another nice episode though I did not like the "Arupin is here" scene, which made me cringe a little and the car chase in the OP is way to cheesy.

And it's a shame it showed the anime industry in such light-hearted way so far. It is enjoyable, but I would prefer if it were more down to earth.

I really do not like the director and the blond-haired guy. lol.
The opening seems too long and not really to-the-point. And I just cannot take the "moe, moe, moe" thing. I freakin hate that word right now. I hope they could be just a bit more serious about making an anime.

They are serious, and first and foremost this is an anime not a f-ing documentary so they are trying to make things entertaining to the viewers.

Honestly, who wants to watch "an uncut" version of how "real" animation studio works.

What did you expect? They are making a "moe" anime, of course moe would be mentioned a lot.

lel this episode was awesome. PA works did a great job at showing how hectic anime production could be on a light-hearted way. This show is slowly winning my heart.

This "ironic" documentary about making an anime is pretty awesome learning about crunch times, voice acting, key animations, and even a studio's take on a moe character. I gotta say that this is a definite watch for all anime watchers to enjoy and understand.

Imagine this type of stuff happening every time in Kyoto Animation Studios when they make their "moe" characters. I bet even Nintendo's head quarter's can even see the pink light emitting from that small office in Kyoto. (Of course I know this isn't the studio)

I thought THAT scene was hilarious, the perfect way to convey how a studio feels when they find a way to bring out a character's full potential.

I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. I think it'd be even better if it stayed solely focused on Miyamori and the staff, but we'll ultimately have to have the obligatory cute group of girls at the center of the focus.

I would love to see something like this.
Especially parts from the very start with Production Committee making decisions and despair of staff on how to implement those. it would be also rather educational for some people here.

also first good anime from P.A. Works in a long long time, so far it was entertaining.

I think the director can be pretty annoying, but I just like his voice from the weird sensei from SKET Dance

The 'Arupin is here' scen was weird though, only in dreams anime characters com to life. We can only wish that they were here. I'm not into moe characters that much though

Aoi is supposedly one of the MC, but her activities are more like side characters'. I do like how optimistic and energetic she is, even in such a hectic situation.

Director Seiichi was hilarious! He way too into Arupin's character! Well, I guess that's how directors should be. Nah, maybe not as lively as him though. XD

Rinko is one cool girl; not even showing any sign reactions to all the changes being made and she just agreed with the plan. & She caught that Takoyaki plate like a boss!

Decent episode. Those short jokes among the staffs were pretty funny too.

Another fun episode! That director though, making things so complicated, but he's also very passionate about the character(s). Mostly Arupin though XD I like the part with the VAs, Kayano Ai's character looks really just like her. It was nice seeing how the VA tried to get the right feel for her character's line. I also love how positive Aoi is, she seems like a good balance for the production team.
