| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Motion comic style (like Seiyuu Sentai Voice Torm 7) in this ep. & that main guy's fear with grasshopper(?) because since he was young he thought that it's ET, while others "tries" to do the club activity without him (which doesn't seem like club activity). Megane became ultimate weapon and protection! Intermission is horn ver. of the song? Overpowered for transparent glasses, ended up going on long travel with that long bicycle, Miyata-san's character attacking Kimura-san's character for fake megane, megane censoring raining earlier than others, wiping glasses exploded, everyone went home without Kimura-san's character while fixing the bike. Another teacher as preview megane guy. |

| Never knew cycling could turn gay! ;) Hayato is the fifth wheel. (get it?) Megane God must have cursed him. Fun episode. Second half made up for the boring first half. Honestly, I don't like Akira-centric moments tbh. He's a bit too quirky for my liking. Also, damn, this show always makes the type of glasses I want... Those wiper glasses are so cool. I need one. I hate rain because my lenses get blurry. Also, those glasses blow dryers are cool too. |

| Man, by coincidence right before watching this I decided to change my contacts for my glasses, sat down, had to clean them, then realized how disappointed these guys would be in me. My glasses are scratched to hell and back... almost can't even see out of them because of the amount of times they've been dropped, stepped on, smashed, run over, etc. and survive with only scratches. Lol. Also, the praying mantis was probably the first thing I can relate to with Souma. That was literally how I am with cockroaches. When I go up against cockroaches I consider it an honorable duel among equals. Though, nowadays they don't bother me as much... I don't like killing em if I don't have to but I still act because they can never seem to leave me alone if I don't. :/ I pretty much knew from the get-go, but Hayato was confirmed as my favorite character this episode: "This isn't a glasses club. It's just a bunch of high school guys in glasses hanging out together." My thoughts since episode one. Of course that may just be my false expectations of clubs... but the only club I was ever in (anime club) was the same way. But both seem kinda niche so I dunno. Honestly Hayato is the only interesting character imo. parfaited said: Aye.Fuck you Mitsuki and go die in a fire. You are a hindrance to my enjoyment. | This show just does the most...LOL!! That showdown between Soma and the Praying Mantis caused me to almost laugh a lung out. I'm that way with crickets and slugs. Cream puff guy's brothers are HAWT!!!! |

| This was the episode that is going to make me drop this anime. I realized that the content wasn't strong enough, to do more then two 15min episodic back to back shorts. Plus I don't like the way they bully Hayato. This is reverse bullying. As a person who wears glasses, if my non-glasses friends treated me like this a few time, I would be hurt. |

| Takuma sleeping Yukiya's shoulder was adorable. I have to feel sorry for Hayato, he likes glasses and just wants to be friends, but doesn't have a certain type of vision, so he's treated badly. He may not be able to relate to their experiences with glasses perfectly, but there are other experiences they can share (like catching a cold...). If he's really not 'one of them', Akira shouldn't hurt him by letting him stay and experience those things with them. Yukiya's dejected figure...poor baby. xD |

| Hm, the first half had different textures... :O But the way they made everything appear as if in a manga (even more than before) was interesting. Depicting crowds like that looked strange at first, but it was indeed helpful when Mitsuki was shown in the train. And then Akira's homegane tentative SUKESUKE megane and the glasses god, PFFF! XD And Minabe's sulking at the end looked funny... xD |

| I just realized that the OP reminds me of Haikyuu! OP. Maybe the same artiste who sang the song? "Failure is the bridge to success" -I need to grind this inspiring quote into my head alr. And Yukiya's sad face :D I try not to laugh whenever I see Hayato cos his height and the way he dresses make him look like an elementary sch student lols. Poor Hayato-kun! Mitsuki shld stop bullying him D: I love Hayato the most cos he's the only sane person among the main cast. Overall, quite a boring ep. And I learn new things around glasses each ep I watched! |

| Honestly, the insect repelling skit is my least favourite in this series and it's not that funny as the others to me...But the rain bromance/bonding second half is like 11/10 so this episode gets another 5/5 from me. As a megane, I relate to all of their issues. I laughed so hard when Mitsuki was imitating the glasses god lmao. And the scene with them biking with Yukiya in the front... So funny. I NEED DEM WIPER GLASSES! |
| Woaw geez, the anime is fun overall but the discrimination against Hayato because he doesn't have glasses is really annoying big time. Mitsuki's basically bullying him every episode. He's kinda ruining the anime. His two main personalities traits are awful : simping for Souma and hating and be jealous of Hayato. The others are awful too but they're just ignoring him at least. Edit : and now I started episode 6 and 30sec in Souma's physical as well lol nevermind, bullying Hayato is just a bad recurring joke There I thought they were about to make Hayato be the lead of the bike, but you can see they don't even consider him worthy for anything... disappointing. |
