DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meganebu club photo album spotted. lol @ extended ver. of that "We are meganebu" OST. lol @ that fake megane (actually a momemto of his father's, and his ancestor is related to megane) acting on himself. That quiet guy's sleep! + fake eyes, and that alarm! He's so unlucky. So there's a connection between him and the club leader. Testing how strong is the "Saikyo" frame. is lol! It was better than ep. 1 that I was shocked that ep.2 ends here! That quiet guy as the preview guy. |

Also, OST too because I need that "All You Need Is M-E-G-A-N-E" song. lol I don't care if people hate this show, I enjoyed this episode and the previous too. So what if the plot is shallow? It's just entertainment like the other mindless shows like Kill La Kill and Yozakura Quartet. Minabe is a cool character to watch and the bromance at the end made me smile 'cause they're so goofy enough to have a glasses fight- I don't even know what to call those. It's like arm wrestling but with glasses. |

Only thing that pisses me off is that misogynist raping vampires is scored higher than this. That is like the worst series I have ever seen ugh it is wrong and hilariously shitty on so many levels. Although I'm honestly not surprised by the score of Meganebu! cause of the artwork I mean just look at how low Aku no Hana was for the first few weeks, but the thing saving it was the story and the art went along with the creepy factor. I don't see Meganebu! getting up in the 7s though, but I don't care its fun to me and my fetish is men with glasses and this anime is full of them obviously. xD I loved the little bromance between Soma and Yukiya at the end so I'm guessing Soma was the first person who thought Yukiya wasn't a bad luck charm? How sweet. <3 |

It's such a silly song and I love it! I love how it's also Yukiya's alarm. He's definitely my favorite, those eye stickers o_o and I'm just like him, I need my daily 1 hour nap! The flashback was sad, but we got to see how much he appreciates Akira, such cute relationship. Especially their silliness at the end with all those poses and the strongest frame contest. That had me cracking up. I guess Hayato never figured out why he wasn't in the photos....because he's the one taking them! *facepalm* poor kid, they should just get a camera stand for group photos :) |

Yes! i always go into a small giggling fit. It's really catchy. I am still enjoying this show! I guess i just really love the characters enough, that I enjoy seeing them doing silly stuff and being themselves. Really happy that we got part of the episode dedicated to Hayato. I love him a lot but at one point during the whole thing I was like, ok i understand why they find him annoying sometimes haha. I lost it when they brought up the info about his family wearing the first glasses in Japan. He deserves to be part of the club too! Akira has a really rad and edgy room. I like how his pajamas matched his eyes. Also, the art during the memory flashback was lovely! |

| I think they spent too much time on him being alone in the old club room. The pacing just seemed really bad- like they ran outta ideas.They ran outta glasses gags and saved the best for last. The only highlight of the episode I thought was the sticker open eyelids gag. |
| This is the glassiest episode of any anime ever. Seriously, I can't handle the extreme focus on nothing but glasses. It's ridiculous. But, I won't drop it, cause it isn't the most boring anime of the season. I'm interested in how it can fill 10 more episodes with a bunch of glasses related stuff. |

| How dare you drop a show that didn't met your expectations and bores you?! HOW DARE YOU. The only part that was somewhat boring to me was the moment with family tree. The joke was meh. Other than that - I had that stupid smile on my face all the time :D And I got used to the colours already, woohoo! Dem interiors, so classy. Some kids battle it out with their Pokemons. These kids battle it out with glasses. |

My only complaint about Meganebu! is the weird art style thats probably where the 5.99 is coming from due to the lack of animation and jokes that fall flat, but I personally love this series even if it only gives me a chuckle or two an episode. DiaLovers is just plain horrible and bad its just basically 15 minutes of this character will rape/have their way with the girl this week with little plot advancement thrown in and sappy back stories to make you feel bad for the brothers. -__- |

| Meganebu is definitely in the running for most stylish anime of the year. Loved the artstyle used for the flashback (not to mention the pop-art design used for the interiors and the multi-layered texture) and there's something about the dry and dozy atmosphere present in this week's episode I could immerse myself in incredibly well. Actually I preferred the somewhat tedious nature of it to the whackiness and craziness from last week. The last scene was great, an actually believable display of male friendship. |

| Lol @ people being offended by people not liking this show. It's true that I watch more slice of life's with a large share of female characters... but ye know what... in real life, there actually are females. Personally, I could care less that it's only males... what makes me not like this show is how stale it is, I can't relate to a single one of these characters. Where it tries to be funny, it's just dry and tasteless... it could easily have potential to be hilarious if it was done right. So far the only scene that made an attempt to being dramatic was dull and incredibly cliche... like I haven't seen a character in anime before who was being laughed at and suddenly someone hands them a cloth... it's thoughtful, but it's done a thousand times before, and in much more creative ways. This hardly even revealed anything and it acted like we should understand now why the 4 other club members think about nothing besides pleasing Soma. I just can't feel for a group of mindless idiots who's only focus is making glasses to see under a girl's clothes. I mean the one person who looks halfway intelligent in this show wasn't even smart enough to go and wait at the side before the bridge... does it hurt to step back a few steps? Nothing so far has happened that I didn't see coming a mile away, or that I haven't seen before. Hell the only scene that I even chuckled at was when he sneezed and broke that thing in the first few minutes of the episode. The minute he opened the album, I already figured out that he would look in it, laugh at the pictures, see the rest of the club then suddenly realize he wasn't in them... and I knew that it would be because he was the one with the camera. Just to prove that I could care less about chicks and their tits (or lack of) being in shows, I find this currently airing show: http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=18677 - to be about as boring and distasteful as Meganebu, and I assure you that Yuushibu has no shortage of female characters. Done right an all male cast series is perfectly fine. I haven't watched too many Shoujos, but I haven't seen or read a single one that I didn't like, before this one. There's only 3 shows I've seen with next to zero male characters and really enjoyed... not because it was about cute/moe girls, but because all the characters and scenes were relatable and/or believable. Besides being emotionless, it feels kinda weird that in an anime that's trying to show how different people with glasses are, there's not a single character who doesn't have glasses. It's like making a series about racism, with only black people. END RANT. Just for the record, I won't drop this series... but I really don't see it getting any better. |
