| As much as I enjoy seeing the MegaTen demons in action and am looking forward to seeing Fumi next episode, it really irks me how far they dumbed down the story. Especially the whole 'I can summon a mid-tier demon from the start because I'm special' self-insert bullshit. |

| Pretty nice so far! Nitta was only sitting and crying this episode (which I didn't really mind since it's realistic), but it looks like she wants to help now as well; she even said it herself. So far everyone besides Hibiki was kinda useless and I hope this'll change next episode onwards. They didn't really explain the whole 'cellphone going rampant' thing, so I only just learned by looking it up how that happens. Byakko is awesome as always though. |

| I'm about to beat DeSu2 (finally), and the game is fresh in my mind. So, I'm mixed on a few things and I can't help but wonder: 1) How they'll implement the demon auction. This episode mentioned it even though it's yet to be seen. I hope they do it in a way that fits an anime well as compared to a game. I think some sort of virtual dimension would suffice; showing a bidding screen with numbers would be a bit boring and tedious in an anime format. 2) I notice none of the human MC's actually fight (yet). I wonder if they did away with this, and replaced it with their ability to summon demons based on various conditions/criteria rather than just the demons they own. Honestly I was a bit put off when they could summon based on ability, but in a way I think it may suit the medium a bit more and allowed for a faster story progression than starting with completely pitiful demons and having to auction/fuze their way past the first two episodes. I'll wait until the series ends before I wish they decided on 26 episodes instead of 13, but overall I generally like the direction they're taking it - even if it's not a purist interpretation of the game. Haters gonna hate. |

I was thinking how it would've been hilarious if one of the kids said "Is that a pokemon?" when the demon broke into the building lol So far this anime doesn't stand out but it has potential to be pretty good. |

| As already mentioned, the pacing and faithfulness to the game is pretty good. Right now there's a lack of more types of demons but seeing the preview already makes me happy, as the creation of new demons was one of the favorite part for me in the game. |

However, in previous episode, When Byakko charges electricity Hibiki's right hand also has electricity also with some kind of portal circling his right lower hand. Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| iirc,the game let you choose some strong demons from the previous playthrough to carry over to NG+ so you can rush through all those early easy fights without much problem and now the show does exactly just that lol |

Let's not talk about the level here :P Byakko has more than 2x agility when compared to itsunade, though - in game terms, that would mean that birdie actually HITTING byakko is...unlikely. And Byakko most likely would get an extra turn too. Adding to that Byakko has around five times the vitality birdie does. Which would mean that any hit birdie would do with those stats would be mostly 1's... Let's assume ridiculously that birdie gets a hit in 50% of the time(in reality it would be way lower with those stats). Each birdie does 1 damage. That would mean that Byakko would have to be attacked by 816 birdies at once(assuming half of them land the hit) Ever tried killing mewtwo with lvl1 magikarp in pokemon games?... that would be about the same result. |

| I don't like how this anime is nowhere near as detailed as game. Joe is not introduced yet and he was there to fight Dubhe in the game. I don't know what evil possessed creators of this anime to fit all the game into only 13 episodes. One of the good things about Persona 4 Animation was that it was very very close to the game. DS2A is far from that. It could be cause Persona 4 didn't have cast full of huge breasted girls and they had to put a real plot into it. I liked how Makoto VA kept saying JP's >_< Hinako boob next episode will keep me interested. I might finally understand how her boobs aren't falling out of her coat. They seem even larger than they were in game. |
| Although this was less intense than the first ep, this was still pretty good tbh and I liked the small info dump in this episode. It was good to see these three making up their minds and joining the fight too, especially Nitta. That ending, hmm so there's another group out there that's against JP's, interesting. And I can't wait to see the new chars as well. |

There are at least ~10 different personality archetypes the mc could belong to depending on your dialogue choices and dozens of storylines depending on what you choose to do. is it condensed? SURE. And that's why I've said and will say again: it's retarded to watch it without at least having played the game, it's robbing yourself of an experience even if it's not a very strong entry in the franchise, it's watching someone play the game for you and make the choices. And I'd say making the MC overpowered from the very start to appeal to as much simple minds as possible is pretty game breaking. To be honest, as a fan of the franchise I'm torn between hating it for being a bad adaption and loving it for being able to see some of my favorite demons in action (even if it's not very good action). When the time comes for me to rate this, I have no idea how to. |

I didn't even realize there was a manga adaptation for this. I might have to check that out if this anime is drawing from that. And I understand your point in #2 even though I haven't seen (or played) P4. I'm still young in the MegaTen universe. |

| So far I'm liking P4 way, way, way better. The MC is bland, the girl is bland and the other guy feels like generic idiot X. Hopefully we'll get to see some actual interesting characters soon. |

| Brilliant episode!!! It was a good follow up from last time and Byakko was so epic in that battle scene and I can see how it outmatches other demons quite easily. We learn more about the secret organization JP's. A mysterious characters is still yet to be fully revealed and the commander looks like a caring person. The world is in a tight situation with many lives at risk but this makes Hibiki think that he should make use of the power he has gained and use to do something along with Daichi and Nitta. Looking forward to next episode!! 5/5 |

| This is me reading the first few pages of this discussion: "Who the hell are they talking about?" I guess I'll find out in the next episode. Two new characters introduced: Makoto Sako, a commander who can summon Power. Yamato Hotsuin, a white-haired chief who talks to the other mysterious white-haired dude. Exploding Giant Ice Cream Cone aka Dubhe is a Septentrion. At least one Septentrion attacks each day. I like the Byakko and Power vs Skull-Bird scene. With the OST before and during that. Fumi Kanno and another mysterious guy might appear in the next episode. A lot actually will appear. |
