~Rating System~
As you see, I'm a positive-balanced person. I mainly explain that for two reasons. I enjoy what I'm watching, even if it's not excellent, I still find some good things when it comes to rate a series. The points I give depends of the genre of the anime, usually, but things I love to see generally are thought-provoking moments, reflections, analogies and an astonishing ending. If I didn't enjoy what I watch, I'd consider dropping it, although I hate to drop a series, I will always tell myself to continue, so if I drop something it's because I really, really hate the series. But this doesn't mean I will never watch it again, in the future, I'd like to watch all the series I've dropped so far. The other reason why my score board is inclined to 8s, I believe is my personality, I'm a sensitive person, like, a lot. So before putting a bad score I consider the good things and balance the things to its favor. My other self, nevertheless, hate to be like that, so I'm constantly struggling at the time of rating something xD.
1 (Black Rock Shooter, UN-GO [D]): Extremely boring anime; this means I had to fight against myself for not falling asleep. If I put a 1 is because I couldn't find absolutely anything to cheer me up while watching, nor a raison d'etre. Dropped anime with this calification didn't catch my attention at all. And as I hate to drop any series, it must have been terrible.
2 (ChäoS;HEAd, Kamisama no Memochou): Extremely boring and/or uninteresting anime. I believe what it makes the difference with 1s is simply the capacity to mantain the thread of history, but very, very poorly. Usually, 2s are anime I find illogical, those types of series that left you with a big WTF in your face when you finish it, in the bad way.
3 (Fractale, Monochrome Factor [D]): Usually this kind of anime starts okay and average, but as the story goes on, it becomes monotone, predictable or boring. Unlike the 2s, I think that, when finished, they left you with this face: -.-.
4 (Guilty Crown, Kimi to Boku): I think 4s are anime which are poorly executed, with a weak story, fail moments, terrible ending or simply because some aspects were very criticable. It is not a lower score because I recognised some elements that could make a succesful story, what finally wasn't achieved. They and lower scored anime weren't thought-provoking to me. And that's way important to me.
5 (Kokoro Connect, Zettai Shounen): 5s are anime that have the half of the score, the reason is that they were exploted and developed by the half. They could have reached a higher score, nevertheless, its execution was so average, so "let's watch this anime" a lazy day when you're boring and nothing else comes out of there. The message wasn't executed enough or they were pretty obvious and not sorpresive. They passed unnoticed to me.
6 (Natsume Yuujinchou, Umineko no Naku Koro ni): Okay anime, but that's all I can say about it. 6s anime are all finished because it's worthwhile but when you go and make a recapitulation there were too many fails. The story had many fluctuations; it had some moments very good, but also others that were very bad. Its reason to not reach a higher score varies from case to case. Anyway, I midly enjoyed watching them.
7 (Deadman Wonderland, Kuroshitsuji): Good anime. I liked the series and the story, it was well executed. The message was achieved. I don't give it more points because I can't say "this anime was explosive". That means it was good, but not using the best means it could have used. I'd recommend 7s to almost everyone who enjoys anime, because they are worth to watch.
8 (Another, Steins;Gate): Very good anime. Depending on your tastes, I would highly recommend it because it's worthwhile. It had very good scenes and moments, had content and were thought-provoking at times. The reason they didn't achieve a higher score is because they weren't distinguished among the rest or because they had stills that made me doubt about its score. Anime with good story and bad endings are usually in this group, because I thought they would pass the line and make an explosive final to be remembered, but they didn't.
9 (Angel Beats!, Kino no Tabi): Amazing anime, very very good, awesome moments, incredible story, they exploded their genre at 90%. The reason they didn't achieve a 10 varies from one to another, but anyway, they were excellent to me. As they succeded at passing the 8s line, they mean a lot to me and remind them fondly.
10 (Shingeki no Kyojin, Shinsekai Yori): Anime in this category are the maximum to me. They all made me cry at some point, usually at the end. Remarkable story and development, every moment was appropiate and I will never forget its message and meaning.
I don't score before finishing the whole series. (Dropped ones are the first impression they let me)
This is just a guide... because every single anime is treated as particular. I don't judge as a professional, counting every detail as the music and story separately and then making an average out of that... I believe that is like, plastic and rigid. I judge as a human being, and as one, some series will reach my heart and some won't. We all have different opinions and we are free to express them in a good way. We all can grow listening the rest, and that's what makes the world beautiful.
Have a nice day C:

How's it going? Do you still need any support or advice? I'm a strict vegetarian with plans to go vegan in the near future, and I'm also a huge fan of anime and manga (though I lurk on this forum far more than I post).
