So what did everyone think? It was nice to see all those characters together, I only which they would have had Kyoko and Godia from Maison Ikkoku.

It's on YouTube. Nothing much to it really.

Thanks. It was very cute. I'd like to get ahold of a fan sub for it for my collection.

I watched it at the Rumik World site at the time of Rumik exhibition.

As Polley said, it was okay, and as the fiirst poster mentioned, Maison Ikkoku characters were missing.

I think the most amusing thing from it was how well Ataru has implemented new technology such as a cell phone into his girl hunting. Never again will he be required to carry around a book and write down their numbers.

Well the reason Maison Ikkoku characters were not in it is simply because they only made new OVA's for UY, Ranma and InuYasha. Although it would have been nice to see them again, the short was already full of enough series that it didn't really need MI. Not to mention the characters from MI don't really fit in with all of these other superpowered beings :P

still, they couldve added maison ikkoku as that was a very popular show back then and still is popular now. And i agree with some that they could've added akane in there. If not, at least Shampoo just to see how Lum would react to shampoo since they is so much alike.

This was amazing, and I haven't even seen Ranma or Urusei Yatsura. Ataru might give Miroku a run for his money >_<

It was awesome to see Inuyasha and Kagome again. I love those two and their crazy antics. It wouldn't be Inuyasha with out a "Sit boy" command ^^

That was funny.
Dunno much about Urusei Yatsura, but I loved to see Inuyasha and Ranma in the same place.
Inuyasha thought that Ranma was a youkai and Ranma thought that Inuyasha fell into the jusenkyo.

maison ikkoku is a seinen manga and not from shonen Sunday that's why in this short ep only takahashi's shonen works appeared to celebrate the magazine's 50th anniversary (all long running shonen works are from shonen sunday)

Agree and agree. It was very disappointing that Akane wasn't there( and I do wish that they could have added a cameo of Maison Ikkoku😭😭😭)

it's always odd to watch Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 characters with such updated animation. Also, how did Ataru know about Ranma's female body? And as expected, the latter and Inuyasha commented about sharing the same voice. However, it would be great to have at least a 20 minutes crossover episode, 3-4 minutes are too short

One of the best crossovers I've ever seen and it's only 3 minutes long. The world needs more of this. Unfortunately, nothing happened for the 60th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Sunday T_T

Maison Ikkoku characters weren't here simply because this is a celebration of Rumiko Takahashi's works that were published in the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. Maison Ikkoku didn't publish in WSS. It was published on Big Comic Spirits. Albeit both magazines are under the same parent company Shogakukan. Also, I'm not sure how Maison Ikkoku characters would stand out with Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha characters.

My only gripe is that Akane (and also Shampoo and Ukyo) weren't here. :( Seriously, we need another crossover with these folk and potentially Rinne and Mao characters too. (I'm not sure if these were published in WSS magazine)
