| Good episode. Seems like psycho Lydia has a a thing for Octavia...I'm getting yuri vibes from her. Once again, a nice blend of humour and action. Like Arawn, I'm wondering what those mummies/dead corpse are for. It's like a bad omen about to happen...zombie soldiers maybe?! Arawn appears worried. Next episode, Octavia gets introduced to the rest of Arawn's gang. Is she going to be on their side now? If she is, I hope she gets a showdown with Lydia in the battlefield. |

| Question: Why does Arthur know Lydia, and what history do they have (it seemed that there is something between them based off of the way they were talking to each other on horseback, but that could be a subbing issue). I personally hate Lydia as a character, she's far too ridiculous for me to accept. Overall though, not a bad episode. I'm still liking that Arawn is the only person with any sense in this show. And Morgan needs to die. Am I the only one who felt like she was the reason they got caught, with her being inappropriately drunk all the time? |
| Arthur is still pissed about him losing the previous battle against lydia and her forces.. nothing more to it imo. also i do hope for ArthurXOctavia too Arthur isn't getting any love(wives) ... sigh but either way this series started with Arawn getting wives but now it's completely ignored ... what's the deal with that??? absolutely no development after all the stupid reasons they came up with to couple Arawn to his wives... |

| Wow, I totally forgot what happened in the last episode, Stjeppe. I don't know how I couldn't remember that. I actually think it's a good thing that there is no other emphasis on Arawn's harem. Only lame, obtrusive events could come of it all, so the further in the background it stays, the better. |

I Agree! I also want Arthur and Octavia to hook up, but as someone mentioned in a past thread....every women in the series hooks up with Arawn :(. That in its self forces me to drop the score for this show by 2 or 3 points at the end (if it really ends up happening). PS. is it just me or is Arthur just here to make Arawn look good? I mean at the start of this series Arthur was the man. He kicked so much ass and knew what he was doing. Now he's been reduced to Arawn's sidekick and basically keeps giving Arawn opportunity's to school him....makes me want to punch the screen. |

| I really liked this episode, i think the way this show is presentated is great. Very nice animation, characters are getting stronger, the fights are realistic but also done in a really entertaining way. I am hoping for Arthur x Ocatavia so much now. And some people need to remember that the original is a 'HENTAI'. |

| Probably the best episode so far mainly thanks to the Octavia scenes and a real battle strategy, accurately depicted for once (contrary to Valkyria Chronicles for example which is very lame from this point of view). Octavia and Arawn are by far the most interesting characters of the show, along with a growing Arthur, all the other characters are mostly pointless (what the Hell is Riannon's role in the show apart from being Arawn's promised one and Arthur's sister, we barely get anything on her in the first 9 episodes?). Oh well I kinda like Morgan even if she's a pain in the ass, she's a good comic relief character and serves her purpose well at least. If we let characters out, good direction overall and good battle scenes in this episode too. |

| Riannon is kinda like a medic/princess of the tribe, shes a source of motivation. I don't really get point of water girl though. Good episode overall though. |

The guy is a demon king thousands year old. I will be disappointed if a normal person no matter how skillful it is can fight him equally so easy. That was nice and all and this show now develops better than i thought. Although there base seemed to lack soldiers. Octavia is obviously the best female character in the show. Hope to see some cool moments of her in the battlefield. Am also curious what the empire is planning to do with those corpses. O! yeah and Lydia is one psycho crazy annoying bitch. | Finally Arawn said what we were all thinking, why is everyone in this show so freaking STUPID?!?! They follow these self-imposed ancient laws so blindly that they are freaking mindless drones. No one thinks for themselves. I'm all for honor and pride but when it supposedly requires to to do stupid things to get yourself and others killed I will at least stop and think. This is why I am hating Arthur more and more. |

| It seems you have grasped Arawn's point, as he is constantly telling the humans and elves to live free of these silly and harmful rules they have imposed upon themselves. In fact later on in when you get his full backstory you'll understand just how much of a rebel against order he is... As to any human or elf taking Arawn in a one on one fight it's just not going to happen. Even Ogam wouldn't be able to take him. In the game Octavia is delivered in the box from the Roman base to Avalon, not to a storage room but rather somewhere else where Arawn encounters her. Pretty much the same sort of thing happens in that he asks Arthur what the Gaels do with captive warriors, and on the answer does his best to save Octavia's life. They've actually expanded her role quite a bit from this stage in the game, but even there she is one of the strongest characters and a great asset in the combat phase (paladin with the ability to cast buffs and de-buffs as well as doing damage from the second row). Because they can't show us the sexual encounters we don't see as much interaction between Arawn and his wives unfortunately. While he may have originally acquired them out of compassion, it becomes obvious in the game that he does care about them deeply as individuals and they are fully his wives and actually treated fairly equally. He's not out to build a harem, it just sort of happens--and in the end one of the reasons he can be so strong is because he has their support. I will say that the one who probably suffers most from tthe way the anime deals with this is Rhiannon, as she does lose a lot of face time with Arawn in order to show more combat sequences. Keep in mind that in Arawn's absence (he likes to sleep in late and isn't really interested in the job of Chieftan), she is actually in charge of the tribe and also is the decision maker for the running of the castle. In combat she is the main healer and also develops powerful area effect damage spells by the end game. |

| Lidya is terribly written character but otherwise it wasn't bad episode. It was actually nice that he saw noble side of hers and decided to spare her in the end. Introduction of her wasn't half-bad and definitely better than it was in the game (aka I'll sleep with you after mistaking my gesture for marriage proposal and now obey). |
