| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Based A-Destiny strikes again! Anticlimactic end to the war still intense as hell. Wang Qi's memory was enough to give Xin and Qin the edge, couldn't have been more fitting. Even with the build up to that with the earlier flashbacks I didn't see that happening. I think we all knew Huan Ji was going to outmaneuver Jie Zifang and capture the headquarters, though. Man was he intimidating as hell there or what.. Xin unsheathing Lun Hu's sword and throwing it at Lian Po will go down as the ballsiest thing ever done in anime. The action was great too. Xin taking a beating and fighting through, Tian standing up against Zifang, and then Xin swooping under Zifang to block his axe from striking Tian made me shout out loud. Still can't believe Lian Po admitted defeat though, even though it was set up so well with Wang Qi's words relieving his fight against the turning of eras. Can't wait for a more thorough explanation to cap off the development, as well as the falling action for what's been a looong but fantastic arc. Defeating Lun Hu and exchanging blows with Lian Po buying Huan Ji time henceforth saving Meng Ao, just think how much Xin's stock will rise after this. Mod Edit: Fixed poll. |

| Can't quite figure out Lian Po's justification for ending the war there, as just being tired and a 'good sport' seems rather unlikely. Kurogashi said: Going by the historical figure: does lian po ever come back? or is he retired for good? A great end to a somewhat wonky war. |
| Damn Xin is such a badass being able to withstand Lian Po's attacks. Interesting that he said that they have lost. |

| Man, what a very intense and epic episode. The animation was great too which made the fight more exciting especially when Xin blocked Lian Po's attack. That was a heavy and big swing. It's very impressive how Xin blocked it. I like Lian Po's angry expression when he learned that Lun Hu was defeated. I also love how Meng Tian is protecting his grandfather and even faced Jie Zifang then Xin blocked it again. And that evil Huan Ji.... this is the best episode for me this 2nd season! |
| Xin's sword must be special to be able to block Lain Po when Meng Ao's weapon can't. I remember Xin getting that sword from Piao. That sword must be some legendary Qin royal weapon. |

If i'm not mistaken, Meng Ao's weapon never broke. Lian Po's finishing blow just came from an angle Meng Ao didn't have time to block. Before that, no visible damage to either weapon. |

| Huan Ji, you magnificent cruel bastard! Wang Qi is saving Xin's ass despite being dead. That's the influence of a great general for you. I assume Xin has the promotion to thousand man general in the pocket now and maybe even get 10000. |
| Damn, Amazing episode. Probably one of my favorites so far. No CG, and the action done was pretty awesome. Also, Xin was a total badass during the whole episode. The way he jumped off his horse to battle Lian Po gave me a huge adrenaline rush. Not only that, but Lian Po's insane aura and the way he made everyone in the battlefield tremble was great. Knew Huan Ji would come back sooner or later, but damn, he changed the entire tide of the war. As a bandit too, he doesn't have the honor or pride of a soldier to restrict him. The way he killed Wei's Supreme General was brutal. The entire episode was tons of fun and loaded, even Jie Zifang appearance was a surprised and caused more tension, though, I was pretty sure Lian Po was gonna stop the battle after his realization. |
| Did anyone notice how great Huan Qi's voice is and how weird Jie Zifang sounded? It's not very important, but I was kind of fascinated by it. |
| After Lian Po said that about Wang Qi I can't say I'm surprised Xin would say something in return. And so boldly tossing out that blade with not running haha. xD; That was an amazing episode. I have that particular mix of joy and sadness whenever Wang Qi is brought up. So I could certainly see how someone who was around with him would feel about it all. |

| Wtf... Wang Jian is one of the 4 greatest general of the unification war(other 3 being Li Mu, Bai Qi, and Lian Po)... For the past few episodes, I've been expecting him to make a surprise return... But instead... Ah wellz. |

| amazing, heart-pounding episode as always! Xin never fails to gain my respect and admiration in every episode. I didn't expect the war to have ended in such a way (Lian Po retreating) but quite frankly I wanted it to end soon because I can't wait to see Zheng!! also, does anyone know why there was an 'end' in the preview for ep33 (i'm not ready!)?? it says here on MAL there will be 39 episodes...? |

| I know he's the main character but I was seriously fearing for Li Xin's life when he threw down Lun Hu's sword. I thought he was at least going to lose an arm or something. That was damn crazy. |

| Lianpo's order to stop the fight was a bit of a relief, but disappointing at the same time. Plot shields can be a double edged sword. I chuckled a little when Zifang called Mengtian a girl. Welled up some tears when Xin was quoting Wang Qi's last words. That scene always gets me, and I honestly think it will be the most memorable moment of the series for me. |
| It's a bit anti-climax isn't it? Well if they're continuing it, it probably ended up with Meng Ao's death Let the grandpa(s) rest for the rest of their short lives xD Sorry but you can't unified China that easily, it's still a long way "Mada Mada" :P |

| Alright so they won somehow, Lian Po is still alive though but he'll probably retire after this. He's probably lonely that all of his peers and great people that he fought have all died and left him. It's like feeling lonely cause you're alone at the top. |
