| Just now Miho's voice actress tweeted this photo: http://twitpic.com/be53cf/full In the photo she is wearing a special Japan Rail cap. That is because she just attended a ceremony where they officially unveiled the new decoration scheme for the trains featuring pictures of all of the characters from Girls und Panzers. Of the five voice actresses, she is the only one who attended this early morning ceremony. ...and she also said, ガルパン仕様列車お披露目式に来てくださった皆様、どうもありがとうございました！！ She mentions that train decoration unveiling ceremony and thanks everybody. There was an appearance of all five of the GaruPan voice actresses at 1:00 pm. |

| Videos from Sunday Ankou Festival in Ooarai Just now I tried very hard to find some video showing the five voice actresses appearing yesterday at the Ankou Festival in Ooarai. See Post #63 below. - At 03:21, on the street you can see the sign (上映会) advertising the indoor event where they had a free all-day showing of all of the six GaruPan episodes, up to and including Episode 5.5. On another sign, Miho says that you can't bring in food or drinks. - At 03:41, on the street you can see the sign for the "talk event" which was later in the afternoon at 3:00 pm. But he didn't go inside, apparently. The five voice actresses appeared at the "talk event". 6000形 ガールズ＆パンツァー ラッピング車両 水戸駅着発 12.11.18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99S9vM33chI - This video was shot at night at a train station in Mito City in Ibaraki Prefecture. Mito is very close to Ooarai. The video shows a train with the special GaruPan theme decorations. The train arrives and then it leaves. A "train otaku" maybe? See Post #63 below. 40000 GaruPan fans ! According to a GaruPan tweet, 65000 people attended the Ankou festival on Sunday. In a normal year they get 20000 to 30000 people. Therefore we can estimate that 40000 GaruPan fans were there! On Saturday they had the Ooarai Dance Festival, which is a separate event. If you search on YouTube you can easily find lots of videos just posted showing the various dance groups. Unfortunately, none of them peformed the embarrassing Ankou dance. |

It shows a very special ceremony where they are unveiling a new decoration scheme for the trains in Ibaraki which has a GaruPan theme. Miho's voice actress had the honor of sticking on the last sticker, which is a picture of Miho. Then she signed her name on the pink ankou fish. She was the only one of the voice actresses to attend this early morning event. |

| ^The other four voice actresses appeared at the festival later on the same day. The five of them had an outside appearance (on that field) at 1:00 pm. Later at 3:00 pm there was a "talk event" indoors. I really hope that somebody can post video or photos of them ! I think that Miho's voice actress must have felt very cold during that morning ceremony. Look at the heavy winter coats that everbody else was wearing. Congratulations to her for her bravery and devotion to duty ! What a good soldier ! |
| The girls' high school is on a giant ship. The ship is mostly based on the real-life Japanese aircraft carrier Zuikaku (瑞鶴). | It wasn't really much of a recap. It really did spend about 2/3 of the episode discussing the characters instead of moving through the plot points. |

| 4/5 Episode that is useful due to the fact that he showed all the characters with their names and in having shown, even the peculiarities of tanks of various teams. A useful break to catch our breath, to better characterize the characters and to be ready for the upcoming clash. |

| One of my favourite parts from the early episodes was the girls hunting down the abandoned tanks and restoring them, which was pretty much glossed over in this recap. |

| If you want to know everything about "Girls und Panzer", then you should not miss this episode, which represents the characters of the Ooarai school and also the tanks, without forgetting the other characters and tanks. But there is so much more, too; it is not a simple summary |

| Some summary was done, but it's more like exposition that had to be cut from the anime. Otherwise, it would have 1) a longer run time 2) bored people. It's a nice watch to put some things in context. |
