It sure reminded me of that movie! LOL

The way the crashed chopper is situated smack in the middle of an open square, near the Dejima Memorial is strikingly similar to Ridley Scott's movie. I also noticed that when the Tachikomas were tracking the Major and Section 9's location in the island it reminded me of the control/war room they had in that movie. Multiple frames of aerial views for monitoring the Americans, in the Gits case; Motoko and her guys.

The animation and sound in these last episodes has been FUCKING ORGASMIC!

As if Section 9's plan wasn't crazy enough, they now have some elite squad after them. And now a nuclear american submarine appears? Holy Crap!

damn lots of action scenes and fire power :P

im still confused on why Major is having a hard time going down a moving chopper, but as soon as she's on the rooftop she suddenly jumps down without any problems.

damn is Proto gonna live??? :(

pretty amazing on the coordination of batou and his team.

and wow Kuze is a sharp shooter :P

plus the music towards the end is exhilarating and fast pace :D

too bad there's only 2 episodes left :(

cannot wait how this anime unfolds!!!!!!

love the series!!!!!

Nice, they shot down the plane. Also, I hope Proto lives! Batou's team being hunted by pro's. Let's see what happens next.
Forgot to add that the Major had some sweet jumps in this episode too.

Things are starting to move very quick. The tension in this episode was breathtaking. Proto hang in there buddy. And yes the Cyberbird OST in the middle of the episode hit the spot.

Holy shit, Goda is one crazy motherfucker. I saw the possiblity for him to nuke Dejima but still...

I wonder how they can counter that submarine. They need to deliver the Prime Minister, but Togusa doesn't have what we could say great arsenal xD

Next episode, Makoto encounter Kuze, hope they can work together.

Ugh this is so exciting. I'm suddenly afraid for everyone's lives even though I know there's SSS after this. The dramas get me all caught up! Still waiting for a Major/Kuze confrontation. Wonder if it will be as epic as hers and The Laughing Man.

5/5

Even more adrenaline in the previous episode, the battle rages on, yet rich and exciting narrative twists.
The plot seems already outlined, but I have doubts; intriguing this thing!
Discrete designs, excellent animations, Characters always excellent.
The soundtrack does not fail to give emotions during the battle.
Curious to see how Aramaki succeed in resolving the matter and fix the corrupt bureaucrats.

Tachikoman is really fun!

It was probably because of a thought-process. She hadn't decided immediately to jump of or to hang on.

WHAT REALLY, PROTO BEING AN ANDROID WAS UNKNOWN TO TOGUSA??

uh, okay. Y'know, sometimes I think Togusa has moments of brilliance, and other times, he's embarrassingly off the mark for someone on Section 9 lol.

Other than that, the pressure keeps on mounting on.

Just this once, I'll fulfill whatever your wish is.

GitS hasn't brought up bioroids often. I'm assuming that they're just androids constructed with human organs. I wonder why some artificial people are created as bioroids rather than androids. Is it more cost effective in this universe?

Motoko can jump off skyscrapers without taking any damage, but she needs a rope to jump from a height of about fifteen meters?

It seems like all the cards are finally on the table now. Gouda has been up to a lot of shadiness over this season, but a nuclear submarine planning to blow Dejima to smithereens that they'll frame the refugees for is off the charts compared to his previous schemes. It's truly worth being called his grand finale. Section 9 has beaten the odds before, and I'm certain they can do it again. With so many moving pieces, I think this ending will surprise all parties in this conflict.
