Sub the gamer huh… xD

Fun little finale, seeing as it’s a Sub focused episode ofc. Will miss seeing these thick cats ever week :(

Entertaining finale.

This was definitely the cutest show of the season besides Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu. I'll miss Tamako and everyone of those adorable kitties. =^_^=

A second season would be nice, meow!

A gaming competition where Sabu lost against his opponent Red Tail, and as infuriating as that can be, he subsequently also almost lost focus on his work as well, which got the rest of the cats worried for him. Too bad he wasn't recruited for the pro team though.

At any one time with customers being rowdy to drunk, interrupting both cats and human customers, Tamako unfortunately has to meet her old boss who still chastises her. Thankfully, with Ramen Akaneko being the healthy workplace, Tamako is well protected by all, and the customers get discounts for helping a fellow person out. Everyone's in it to win it.

Terada meeting Tamako before her shift to talk about some business stuff, as well as Sasaki's connection to Ramen Akaneko on the side. The latter acknowledging that she's more of a dog person than a cat, Ramen Akaneko suits her all the more even if Sasaki sees her as otherwise. The reason for the meeting though...is to congratulate her being a permanent human employee in the restaurant.

All's well that ends well for Tamako: a better workplace, meeting customers who are cat lovers, and more that she feels more fulfilling to work at the restaurant even more now.

Cute lil' series.

100% most enjoyable anime in this season for cat-lover persons, not for deer-lover ones :3. 10/10

Everybody has faced their past, now it's Yashori's turn, and with help from everyone she face it head on and comes out on top! Thus begin a chapter in Ramen Akaneko day to day operation.

Overall, entertaining nya fluffy cuteness even with the 3D models that constantly broke immersion.

My favourite show of this season fs.

Very adorable characters and the wholesome stories.

Cute animation and quality opening and ending.

Great voice acting too. Damn daily Akeneko is still my favourite segment of an episode.

This show and characters will be missed by me fs.
I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

I got genuinely sad when the ED was playing. I'll really miss this one. It was wonderful, one-episode-per-week comfiness this season.

Cute but not sickeningly-sweet. Mundane but not boring. Simple characters but believable and likable. The awkward animation was really my only real complaint, but by the end of the season it just became a style of its own.

This show is incredible, it may be one of the best I've seen so far. All characters are fully fleshed out, have personality and history.
A few moments hit hard, and sometimes I didn't expect it at all.
The way you learn about the characters and find out more about them, it's incredibly well done.

That was great to see Yashiro standing up and telling off her old boss. Everyone at the ship backed her up, and all the cats were ready to claw that pompous jerk's eyes out! Hahaha

I wanna see more nekos serving up Ramen. Hopefully a second seasons gets approved 🤞

Lovely finale. The Sasaki stuff with his former owner got me chocked up a bit.

Seeing everyone back up Yashiro yelling at her old boss was so awesome.

There was subtle hints at a season two ESPECIALLY when they teased that Coffee Shop ran by cats...Im in. But it could also be tease to go read the manga as well.

A nice anime at the end of the day. 7/10

This anime has certainly gone under the radar for a majority of people, however, it's pretty entertaining to watch.

The only real issue is the animation but otherwise, everything was good.

This became my favorite of the 2024 Summer season, and may end up as my fav for the year as well. Fun characters and a quirky story. Here’s hoping the manga can get an official release in North America.

@Serafos I feel like the last 1/3 had stuff that was doing truncated versions of chapters (like the girl glomping Hana and Krishna having to give her the stare), though I haven't even started reading it.

117 chapters as of this week and if we get a second season, it'll be a few years assuming enough content is produced, since it's Jump+, which means it varies on release and sometimes has less per month than Shounen Jump Weekly. They teased some new characters, some old (the fluffy black cat that was Hana's rommate at her old place, I think)

I'm still curious on Tamako's aunt and how she's connected to the shop: she might just be a customer, but I wouldn't be shocked if she knew Sasaki's owner like Terada revealed. That story was way sadder than I thought seeing it animated from what I had spoiled myself on

@SoraSenpai I'm curious about how much we'll learn regarding the fluffy black cat we've only seen a few glimpses of that taught the others how to not shed their fur so much. And there's another cat in the household, I forget the old lady, but she was Hana's owner or at least teacher. She definitely was a supplier for the shop, I recall that much

@phantomfandom Depending on how much they may have skipped over and where it stopped, they may not have enough material, probably adapted multiple chapters if this runs a bit shorter in places

Really wholesome and easy show to watch. It definitely had a better flow in the later episodes (not as disjointed as it was at the beginning). Not sure if it'll get a second season, but hope that it does.

What a good finale!!

I'm so glad Yashiro stood up for her former boss, also it's so wholesome the other customer defending her as well.
fck the drunk piece of shit.

Wow that Sasaki-san backstory with her owner was really emotional.
the montage scene got me tearing up a bit.
I really didn't expect an Anime about Ramen Shop by Cat could made me so invested like this.
Plus the OP song was a BANGER!!

I'm gonna missed this wholesomeness for sure, please gave us Season 2 announcement ASAP!!

Indeed, the animation quality was damn abysmal from time to time, even though the series itself was so good! I love the manga, so it irked me.
I really really wish we get a season 2. Ramen Akaneko is so wholesome.

Man, I knew just from the synopsis that I would like this and even though the animation wasn't anywhere close to top tier, it has finally come to fruition. I'm still in my office watching this xD, I'm so glad I saved some eps up for a tiring day. Would've been nice to have a drink back home too but breaks aren't a bad fit either, lol.

Sabu-chan's fav team turns out to be the Ramen Akeneko team after all, how sweet! Reminds me of the Hana-chan segment from last episode. Bunzou-san's segment was fantastic too! It's inevitable that Yashiro-san would end up liking cats in the end, feels like a victory for cat lovers, lmao. Jokes aside, they've been so professional and nice, I think any stone hearted person even would. Promoted to full staff now, god how I wish I could work in a place like that too...

Solid 7/10, I'm going to miss the fluff, here's to hoping for a sequel! And let's show some more respect and love for the theme songs, y'all? I thought they were gold.

@holdingnothing I just got caught up on the manga! They stopped at chapter 35, and there are currently 120 chapters total. The manga is weekly and updates every Sunday.

As for content they skipped, they didn't seem to have skipped any! Aside from a few vignettes being altered order wise there wasn't any big changes like that! In fact, the Daily AkaNeko had a lot of anime original content!

@Castlemight So a cost effective adaptation with the possibility of more seasons eventually? Rare to see that, though I'm stunned we actually have a confirmation for Fire Force's next season (probably not final?). And hopefully we might get more info about Dr.Stone's final season and Golden Kamuy's as well, which is still in production
