Now we're actually deeper into the main premise of the show. With the name of nursery war room set up, they got the kids there too. Not ordinary kids obviously but it brings together the cast.

Hope they develop each of the younger cast. Definitely a neat way to introduce more characters now that we got the main premise of the story

So this is not just nursing children since each kid also have their own trauma, not sure if 13 episodes will be enough to tackle both terrorist group and child's trauma.

HYPE!

This episode was so cute! Was so shocked that Henrique actually had a wife and the person in opening was it? Good on him.

Ah, the dads are such trainwrecks, I love this anime.

Master Dali seems to have everything under control. Of course, balancing both the Vlad Agency mission and child-rearing is really hard, but Dali is doing fine and there are not too much difficulties for him.

I do not like how Gerhard Fra act with his child. He should be more affective as a father and raise him as a good noble.

The art style of this anime is incredibile and it’s giving me old French (XIV century) vibes. Pretty amazing, I hope they will keep up the good work.

Slightly better than last week, but I'm still warming up to it. Maybe because very young kids aren't my thing? Well, I'll hang around for now.

Man that's some shitty parenting right there.
No tomo malas decisiones, solo me gusta apoyar causas perdidas.

Así de jodido es mi gusto en anime, ¡Y estoy pinche orgulloso de ello!

Must feel weird for the kids being in this big mansion and wandering around alone a lot of the time.

Vampires burning up in sun actually was a modern addition not part of the original lore. They only were said to be more active at night.

@el_morris I think this is quite accurate when it comes to the aristocracy. They were usually never involved in child rearing and I could imagine they would treat their kids like adults.

Hmm so yeah, turns out bitten vampires can be mind controlled.

Children are all so adorable in this show. I'm impressed. Only thing I worry is villains may turn out to be too simple, boring, cliche or cringe here.

an okay episode. Kids are truly
distractions.

Anyway, something ominous will happen.

I've watched a hefty amount of horror and horror-adjacent media over the years, but for the longest time I had never actually seen this concept of some vampires being controlled like zombies either by another leading more powerful vampire or some other external third party force by way of black magic, artificial technology like microchips, etc. until getting into anime. Because some variation of it was also shown in Mars Red, Hellsing, etc.

I wonder if it's an alternative take on some aspect of vampire lore more prevalent in Japanese media.

The kids are so cute I feel bad for them, I know the fathers' will show character development in upcoming episodes so I am looking forward to that. The baby who is always crying is getting on my nerves though 😅.

Yeah, I'm going to adopt Raphael and Angelico. I'll take care of them with great love. Like, seriously. Precious kids! ♡

On the other hand, there's a child who really needs love from his cold and uncaring father. Theodore, what he said to Raphael was not nice. Although I can understand why he said it... but it made me upset... huhu then Angelico came and saw Raphael crying and cried too! Hahaha. The shower scene was quite heartwarming.

And to be honest, I don't know why it feels a bit... strange, or uneasy... to see Lorca's family...? Is he the only one who still has a wife? And his family, especially his children, seem the most "normal" here. It's not that having a normal family is wrong, it just feels weird when the other 3 have their own problems. Uhh in the end all I want to say is that I hope there's no traitor among them.

I don't know, if it's the kids who suddenly act up and make a mess. Who knows.

It's awful to see how many of the children feel neglected by their fathers. Even poor Raphael feels left out by Dali, who is the only dad trying at all.

@Sun_Chan I think overall it's because a newborn baby always takes more time from the parent, and even if the parent doesn't want to leave the older kid feeling left out, it ends up happening. As the oldest of 3, I felt that when my younger brothers were born. I hope with time that Dali can work on that and overcome all his trauma, and that he can manage better both children of his.

As for the whole plot until now, I feel really happy over it, but still confused over daytime vampires, but welp, Rosario to Vampire had them as well, and Twilight too, so I guess I will get used to it

The vampires taking up child-rearing, it's not as easy they think...and Gerhard snaps in the face of all the crying, on top of the mission that they have to execute as well.

For sure, without the children around, the vampires would've done their mission a lot faster, but no thanks to Dali and Gerhard's family issues, much less Dali's wife of Frida being killed by the latter in a house raid, it's both a blessing and curse to the fathers trying to understand and take care of their children at the same time. But obviously, all the crying insanity has put Gerhard in a position where he just could not leave them alone, and has to handle Dali's older son of Raphael while he takes care of Ul.

On Dino's family, he clearly doesn't appreciate being left behind with Theodore, which his personal butler Albrecht persistently wanted to take the load off of his shoulders, but couldn't due to Dali's request. It's the same story with Henrique with twin sisters Elena and Lucia, though their family structure is the best of the group. Gerhard's family is pretty much the same as Dino's, though he couldn't care less about Angelico.

While child-rearing takes centerplace, the Police of the Blood encountering said culprits using him as their propaganda tool to promote their group Pendulum which worships TRUMP, Dali really underestimated how much both jobs do take the toll on them...but what is up that his run-in with Pendulum is not his first?

It’s very interesting to see within the lives of the main characters. It seems none of them really enjoy a happy or traditional life. The kids are adorable and the ending was hype

I'm late to this show but good god is the character design amazing. Along with the line work and anamation the art style is elite. Though any side profile of the main four has me seeing the chick from ratatouille... Any one else?
