Is it me or does this episode feel a bit rushed? Like, we saw El4n screaming and leaving with a mobile suit an then he was just chillin at the school? or why is everyone aware of the repli-children and just accepting things without questioning anything? and Shaddiq just "giving up" his mission and confessing everything? and the Space Assembly League  suddenly becomes relevant again?

Suletta is no longer annoying. Honestly hasn't been with the exception of a scene or two at the start of the season. Martin however can fuck off. Constantly whimpering.

Kind of messed up for the Space FBI to ask Suletta to go and become a pilot to go up against her mom. Like, can they have any shred of human cognition at all in the moment? Chuchu and a whole other bunch of people there could've piloted a gundam instead of the daughter of the rogue terrorist mom. Cut her innocent daughter who just survived a life threatening ordeal some slack. You'd think the guy would imagine that no one in her shoes would be in the mental place to go pilot a death machine against family.

Didn't like the fact that so much happened between episodes. I would have liked to have a bridge episode to have some of the development and growth be more organic

I wonder if they will go full Tomino towards the finale or pull some punches. I hope the latter.

With this episode, my opinion on whether or not Gwitch is going to get another cour has switched from "probably" to "they're going to try to finish this in 3 more episodes", which IMO is a pretty huge mistake. Not because I just want more gwitch -- I mean, I do *now*, but only because I  feel like S2 is kinda getting fumbled. Each episode is really strong on its own, for the most part, but when taken as a direct narrative line, it's rushed and jumbled. I don't really think it's going to be satisfying, truth be told, and there were too many ambitious plotlines spun up only for most of them to end up whimpering and facile. Kind of disappointing, to be honest. Especially because it feels like some of the stronger messages of the series are getting pretty cowardly neutered.

This is going to result in all-out war with the Benerit group, isn't it? Not to mention the tensions on Earth being at their highest, there is very little hope for Miorine to get out of this unscathed. I'm really not sure what could happen at this point other than everyone dying to Prospera's hand.

Well I guess I was right about Petra just having fatal injuries and Suletta piloting the Jeturk Gundam. Kinda wish it wasn't that predictable but I liked the execution overall. Quiet Zero's demonstration was very euphoric.

Suletta lends aid to those who need with her crew.

Miorine in total shock after what happened while Shaddiq and his team are behind bars. Suletta's crew dealing out tomatoes since they only ate the same food for idk how long. A deal is being made from some dude and the 4 ladies, seems like trouble. The president wants to sacrifice himself but Miorine doesn't want lose any more lives. Suletta sits down for a long talk while Elan eavesdrops. Suletta agrees to talk with her mom and her sister one more time and see if something changes. Chuatury and the crew wants to tag along, so does Elan for some reason. Prospera is using Quiet Zero and wow its powerful, it wiped out an whole assembly fleet. Now its gonna be interesting for the remaining episodes.

Suletta is piloting the Caliban(sp?), Lauda is piloting the jetutk gundam.

Oh ok I merged those two when they were entirely different suits. Though if Lauda does choose to pilot it, I doubt he will be the type to live long.

I guess this version of Garma is gonna die too. This time by a lady Char.

In the grand tradition of Gundam we have another space superfortress. The big difference this time is the battle will be won in 2 to 3 episodes. A huge change from the 5 to 14 episodes it often takes for the "evil" superfortress to be blown up for the good of space.

Hopefully next episode we get some more hot Gundam on Gundam action.

Did y'all peep the Code Geass parallel for this episode? The faction we always believed was evil is the side the heroes switched to and the former allies are now the strongest possible opposition for the MC's happiness. I wonder if anyone in this cast is also going to go all the way with their sword best friend.

"Have you changed, miss Mercury?"

"I guess so."

Well, here it is, four episodes of plotting, betrayal, war crimes and death, we finally reached the sparkling light that marks the end of the tunnel, glimmer of hope sparks in Suletta's eyes. After being ejected out into subspace from aERIal and pretty much abandoned at the school, poor Suletta chose to isolate herself, time passes extremely slowly for someone who recently undergone this level of mental trauma, it was implied that she was in bed for days in episode 19, with that much thought going on in her head, she wasn't just sleeping it all off, she spent all that time thinking about it all and think it all through. And here in episode 21 we see the result of all that thinking, she is deciding to step into a Gundam on her own, and this time is her own decision.

As for the super weapon Quiet Zero, I suspect Prospera put her own spin (Or could even be considered bastardised) on the project. As far as Gundam series goes I don't recall ever seeing a case of directly controlling the power source particle as a warfare tactic, this is the equivalent of manipulating Minvosky Particles in UC timeline. The mass deployment of Bit-suits is likely Prospera's own development and not originally part of QZ envisioned by Mama Rembran. One can easily negotiate a complete surrender of their enemy when their entire fleet is disarmed, but Mama-war-crime chose to open fire on them like target practices, showing off her cruelty or a blatant disregard of lives. But I have to give Prospera credits for not being silly and zerg rush her vast number of bit-suits and use them tactically, unlike a certain Innovade goes by the name Ribbons.

My girl Petra is alive (Barely) woooooooo! I can see it now, she is going to be the first patient for Gund-arm inc, and when Petra walks again, she will be the cure to Lauda's rage and madness, so please wake up in time >.> !!

Nice episode, and really good reference to The Tempest with the (Gundam) Caliban.

Aerial is definitely going to sacrifice herself because she loves her little sister though, there's no way that Suletta can beat Aerial.
The entire series has been a reference to The Tempest. Prospera's exile, her rise to power using this fancy new tech, her daughter getting engaged to the President's child, and Aerial being instrumental in her plans for revenge against those who wronged her...
the names are all references too lol. prospero = prospera, and there's Ariel too.

I am unsure how long Gundam series typically go per season and episode. However, I wish they prolonged the story. I love the show, but it feels like they are ending it so quickly... I am hoping there is another season, but there may not be... I assume.

How is it even possible for Miorine and Lauda to not blame Prospera for all of this, while she is out there openly enacting her plan for a new world order?

I kind of get it from Miorine since she is traumatized and probably blames her for not being able to see Prospera's schemes ahead of time, but Lauda has no good excuse other than him just hating on Miorine

With the reveal of Suletta's whole backstory to Earth's house, the reveal that El5n is one of many clones, and the activation of Quiet Zero, this felt like a season finale, it really  just leaves Miorine and Bob being the ones out of the loop and Lauda planning to fuck things up, wonder if this will be the final season, man i want a season 3 tho!

To be "fair" to Lauda I think he barely even remembers Prospera exists and definitely doesn't know how involved she's been with Guel and Miorine.

How is Prospera at any fault when Lauda is concerned?!? Its all Shaddiq - he brought the Dawn of Fold that caused the school damage and his fathers demise/his brother's change.
All this Lauda knows, mind you, its official info.
I don't see how he connects this with Miorine also, to be fair. Suletta yes, but Miorine? I guess he will tell us soon enough.

I think the way Lauda connects Mio to everything is like, basically misplaced hatred between Miorine's existence and her role. His brother changed probably twice(?) over from Miorine, from whatever he was  when Lauda first met him, to how he was as the Holder, and to who he became after that, all of that was caused by the Holder contest which existed because of Miorine's role assigned to her by her father. Likewise, Shaddiq attacked the school basically because of the Holder contest (losing it, in a sense, drove him to the end point of attacking the school). In both of those cases, had Miorine not existed, none of that would have happened, so he blames her, even though it wasn't her choice.
Lauda ultimately is a powerless person lashing out at the existences of people who have what he sees as power -- Miorine, Suletta, basically anyone who isn't his brother or father, the people who give him validation. You can sort of see that with how he reacts to Vim trying to make Guel win via cheating when Guel obviously finds the idea abhorrent.

All that being said, I don't really like how Lauda's written, he feels like a parody of a character almost, and feels like, not particularly well integrated into the story or themes of gwitch imo.

Even if we follow that tho, Lauda was quite happy with most of the changes his brother had after he came back and decided to race for the seat of president, he was even proud of it, so he can't really hate on Miorine for that

Hating Suletta doesn't makes sense either because he was starting to be on good terms with her after Bob came back

Plus the company being disbanded and his dad being death are all part of Shaddiq's and Prospera's schemes, with one arrested, and the other having her plan exposed in the news after Piel industries jumped ship, going around blaming Miorine is way too big of a leap

Thank goodness that Petra is alive. She's in rough shape, but hopefully she'll survive, but it looks like Guel's brother is losing his mind, and is now blaming Petra for his brother's misfortunes? This isn't good.

Quiet Zero is a real monstrosity. How are they going to stop Prospera now? Can Suletta really do it?

Lauda at the end really making me think of the "do you are have stupid?" meme

Blaming Miorine for how his brother "changed." ...did he forget the scene where he was shocked to learn his brother killed their father??? I really thought that would've set him up to quietly betray Guel in the final conflict. Also - not that it matters - isn't Lauda adopted or Guel's half-brother or something? IIRC they have different last names (unless Neil or whatever is just some add-on/middle name) but look similar enough.

Death flags everywhere but Elan + Gundam fight + data storm = death by being some shield for Suletta in the next few eps?

Wonder how they are going to take down something that can control tech running on Permet. I am curious how Quiet Zero stayed off the radar until now though. Now that it's complete and Prospera has Aerial things seem hopeless. Maybe Suletta can get Eri to stop somehow.

i feel a lot of tension for the final episodes, i hope that this won't turn out a massacre like most of gundam shows.
i was relieved seeing thet Petra survived, even in that rough shape, but i think that it's nearly impossible for Lauda to survive, i understand why he hates miorine, but this will lead him to his death.
So at the end, the final boss of the show is Prospera, an understandable choice.
Suletta changed so much, it was shocking to see her realize that Prospera loves only Eri, i only hope that she doesn't die trying to convinve them to surrender, i think they are way beyond redemption now.

I did bitch a bit that I wanted this to follow gundam IBO and get 50 episodes, but it seems they will do just fine with this episode count.
Miorine has been suffering a lot, talk about being a punch bag, she put herself in a position of power and responsibility, and shit couldn't be worst, hopefully Sulleta will give her the push she needs. (and please let me see some kissing too!)

I'm glad Suletta is the focus again, and I'm excited to see what the Calibarn is like. I'm concerned for her too. Things aren't really looking good for anybody going forward... And Prospera is awful, and Suletta's backstory was tragic and explained a lot about her strange behaviors.
