| Welp with Al gone as expected Anisphia is now heir to the throne and although she doesn't want the other to worry about her by putting on a act. Everyone see's through it, especially Tilty. And as with being the next queen, she won't have time to do any of her experiments which is all that she has been doing thus far. Lumi the spirit contractor shows up, someone who Euphie's dad has met in the past but is now looking for Euphie herself. Yeah I'm rushing through these as I have no time, actually way to busy to watch anime now. Sad. |

| What I don't understand, is why should Anis suddenly stop all magicology and throw everything away. Her dad the king isn't gravely ill at the moment, he isn't dying now. She won't become the queen tomorrow. And when she eventually does, she could still do magicology as her hobby and she could also teach it to someone else. Wouldn't queen's authority be enough to convince people of magicology's usefulness (non-nobles especially)? This doesn't seem very reasonable to me. Will Euphie becoming the queen solve the issue? Does she want to become the queen? Will the king allow it? It all seems a bit weird to me. Why would Anis and Euphie be afraid of the nobles, when they can even fight against them if a necessity arises? And weren't the conspirators killed or put in jail (with the prince exiled)? Can't Anis and Euphie change things? I understand that Euphie couldn't become Anis's spouse if Anis were to be married to a man and have children with that man. But if Euphie becomes the queen, then Anis won't be able to become Euphie's spouse as well anyway. So how does it help much? I just don't get it really. Anis with magicology could change the kingdom for the better as a queen. Their military could become stronger and people's lives could improve. There are possibilities. I don't understand why everything should be lost if Anis is destined to become a queen one day (and it might take decades). Am I missing something or it doesn't entirely make sense? I still enjoy watching this series (on Crunchyroll), as well as 英雄王、武を極めるため転生す ～そして、世界最強の見習い騎士♀～ which also takes place in a fantasy kingdom with magic. |

Though hidden from the general public, the ministry sure as hell knew and weren't happy with it. That's kind of the whole point of the those two ministry goons' plot to usurp the king because of his support for Anis' work. If a coup was attempted even without Anis being in-line, what makes you think they'd be okay with Anis being a ruler and continuing her work in Magicology? 2) She's been living in an isolated villa, that sure as hell won't be the case if she becomes Queen. That entails some serious life style changes, including not having the time to pursue magicology. 3) How's she gonna collect materials for her study? Take money from the treasury, or put soldiers at risk from fighting monsters? That's not exactly gonna sit well is it? |

Also a really big thing happened last episode that has lasting effects and repercussions on the entire kingdom. How did you not expect this turn of events? Coxphire said: Yes, to put it lightly. She wouldn't have any time to study or work on Magicology if she's training to become the next in line to take the throne, and especially when she finally takes the throne. She wouldn't be able to be an adventurer, which also means she wouldn't be able to even collect materials. She also wouldn't be able to do those things out of sight and out of mind since she'd be stuck at the royal palace. And then there's the fact she's still the number 1 threat to Nobles and the Ministry. They already tried a coup once, they definitely could try another one if Anis is the next Queen, which could lead to another civil war. The King, as seen in the past, doesn't even have absolute power, which is why a civil war was able to happen in the first place. Also there's the thing about being married off to a random guy which...I don't even need to explain.Am I missing something? Just goes to show why killing Al like some people suggested was a stupid idea, that would have probably led to an even worse political outcome, especially if Anis was the one who did it. (And that would destroy he mentally anyway.) |

| Arc-En-Ciel wasn't even destroyed last episode like it did in the novels, why the need to send it to Tomas in the first place...??? Aside from that I'm glad they're going through v3 at a faster pace as it has a lot of redundant dialogue about Anis being Queen |

| Literally everyone understands that Anis is not going to be a good queen, precisely because she's a free spirit and it'll basically erase her persona. What was the saying: "good soldiers don't always make good kings" and vice versa, right? Euphie is more fit for the role but judging by the words at the end, it seems like Euphie also will have to sacrifice a lot to swap places with Anis. I don't think Anis will like the idea of Euphie paying the price for her. So, what may the solution be? Hopefully we'll get the answer this season. |

| Should have just become the Queen and then marry Euphie and have Euphie become the new Queen. While Anis can continue with her research. Cause after all... Euphie is actually trained to be a Queen since episode 1... ___ ___ ___ But instead we're going through a whole "I must be a Queen" and "I must sacrifice things" (spirit contract? so apparently this is bad?) |

| Sacrificing yourself like that to be next queen. Anis is cracking and breaking down inside. Glad that Tilty noticed it right away, and even got angry at Anis for it. It really shows that she's concerned for her deeply as well. Even Thomas was against it. As for Euphie, it's a really good thing that she finally recognizes the truth of her feelings, and what she actually wants. And attained a new found resolve, that even her father was surprised to see. |

| One would think there should be some cousins or uncles who could take over the line of succession... What kind of king only has 1 heir? Otherwise, the date was cute <3 Euphy is finally being honest with herself, but an unexpected development occurs?! Don't make the contract, Euphy! This past few episodes have felt rushed, but hopefully they can conclude somewhere better this way... I'm looking forward to next EP. |

| Why is this being so over dramatized? Anis was definitely not acting her usual free spirited self this episode. I was expecting her to just straight up refuse becoming the next queen and move on. I mean whats the worst they can do to her for refusing, when her brother who attempted murder and started a rebellion was just set free to live his own life? The fact that she is a gold plated adventurer and already pays for all of her expenses means that she is already independent enough to live her own life. And as far as the next ruler, the king still looked very young, he can have another kid or worst case scenario adopt someone. |

| Nothing about this anime makes any sense What the hell happened? It started so good, but then in the previous episode we get blatant gaslighting and in this episode we get the most garbage series of garbage 1 - It's been established that the throne is decided by continuing the Magic Blood Line, why is someone without Magic trying to ascend? -- But fine, she's still the only real child of the King (he really should get some baby making going to try to pump another kid out but whatever...) 2 - Everyone getting upset that Anis is acting different. Especially Tilty -- No duh, she's growing up and knows she can't keep acting like a spoiled child. -- I expected Anis to get angry back at Tilty after that stupid reaction, "Why are you making that face?" ... "Because I'm taking responsibility and acting like an adult, you think I want this future? Obviously not you dumb wannabe intellectual." 3 - Anis quitting her Magic -- Completely illogical, and unnecessary. Her duty as Queen would have been to usher in a new age of magicology. If anything she should dive into it even more heavily and use her power and wealth as Queen to fund projects. Finally and worst of all 4 - Deus Ex Machina -- Here, have a literal God show up at the end with the solution to your problems. I was fully intending on rating this anime an 8, but holy shit how it has fallen fast and hard. |

| @MelonMilk They literally executed most of the nobles in the last episode The factions that should be against her magicology are all dead. So your 1 and 2 are gone 3 Yes, and why not? There is literally an adventurer guild and her inventions are easily some of the biggest economic boon imaginable She has literally invented flight in a feudal society |
