Loving the character chemistry so far. Tilarna isn't going on a one-man hunt I hope. She even left her sword behind.

Episode 2, and the dynamics of Kei Matoba's police-detective and Tilarna's fantasy-magic aesthetics are getting better grounded.

Tilarna's 26? With her loli-too serious face, Kei's subtle humor is well worth the trouble.

The terrorists are well-armed and prepared. Seems like the perfect antagonists. The police are just mere guinea pigs for their experiment. The fairies are just the tip of the iceberg.

Hidden gem of the season. I'm easily hooked, this could be a underrated great show. OST is once again great, one of the best seasonal OPs.

I like the chemistry between the two. Rather surprised that Tilarnia is 28 or 18 years old in human age. I thought she's underaged. You really can't get a person's age from his/her body. Especially an alien.

He ... is ... a terrorist. Most likely, as he plans to kill a lot of civilians with a bomb. Either a terrorist or a pretty ruthless extortionist. What's wrong with calling the Arab a terrorist, Mr. Politically Correct? Because the media never make Whites be rapists and murderers, right? In fact Whites are grossly overrepresented as murderers in TV shows and movies, and extremely overrepresented as interracial rapists, even though 90% of interracial rape in the U.S. is Blacks raping White women, while there are practically no White-on-Black rapes, except in Hollywood productions. Upset about that too?

NYPD Blues had more White murderers than there were actual White murderers in the entire New York City, while Black murderers - the majority of actual murderers in New York - were grossly underrepresented. Will you say anything about that?

Or will you only complain when an Arab is presented as a criminal? Almost half of Arab men in e.g. Sweden have criminal records - while the state-financed TV shows present Swedes as criminal against Arabs.

NYPD Blues took a real-world story about an Indian driving his car into a group of White people to kill them and turned it into a White man driving his car into a crowd of Blacks. They took a real-world story about a Black woman hitting a White man, who got stuck dying in her broken windshield, then driving the car home to the garage, watching the man die and having sex with her Black boyfriend in the garage while he was dying - and turned it into a story about a White man hitting a Black woman and driving home with her dying.

It is 100% certain that you will never be upset about this, and don't want people to know about it. Fact-based arguments are not for you. Now go back to listening to your school teachers and media, there's a good boy.

They did not call him Terrorist because he is Arab guy. They called him terrorist because he is terrorist

There is many non-arab muslim people who are called Kareem. Hafiz Abdul Kareem for example is Pakistani politicians. His name alone does not prove that he his Arab.

I have see many anime that portrays non-arab and non-muslim as terrorist. Code Geass: Akito the Exiled for example has Japanese who portrayed as terrorist. But yet you are sensitive about it when it has some arab or muslim portrayed as terrorist (specially when many terrorists in real life happen to be a muslim these days)

Tilarna and Kei little by little begin to work together, on the other hand the kidnappers of the fairy that Tilarna looks turned out to be more intelligent and intrepid.

Another detail was to know Kei better, the relationship he had with the forensic girl and his sense of duty, caring for a cat despite being allergic is something you do not see every day.

I still love Tilarna's curiosity, I like her insistence on knowing things, I laughed a lot when she insisted on knowing what was between Kei and Cecil.
I found it too adorable when Kei picks up Tilarna from the park, she looks like an abandoned cat, but at Kei's house, hearing her laugh was too cute.

In this episode we met Elbaji, the fairy kidnapper and apparently a very wealthy and powerful trafficker, the truth is that I hate him since he introduced himself and gives me a very bad feeling, especially with that weapon that infects people with that dust lethal.

At last Kei and Tilarna has a clue that points Elbaji as responsible, but Tilarna does not wait for the protocol of the humans for the investigation and goes straight to catch the trafficker and she leaves without her sword, I hope that Kei can reach her and both manage to rescue the kidnapped fairy.
The more I listen and see the ED, the more I love Tilarna, she really is cute and I really liked the work that Tilarna's VA has done so far (I searched for who she was and she voiced one of my favorite characters in Anne Happy )

He is not called terrorist because he is an Arab guy
It is because he ACTUALLY IS a terrorist who is planning to use a special bomb to manipulate and murder tens of thousands innocent people by turning them into mindless zombies.
What do you prefer to call someone like that? Politician?

A pretty good episode - I am liking the main character a lot more. Still, I wish that Tilarna didn't look like a loli, but to be fair, she showed a few sides to her personality that makes her avoid being unbearable and annoying.

The dynamic between her and Kei is starting to become more intriguing. The story thus far has a good pace, awesome BGM, and modest visuals, although, the shot composition could be better - overall it is a really cool show. Also, I love the subtlety in its humor.
Tilarna was originaly SMokin Hot Adult Woman before the series rebooted that´s why it is caled Reloaded

lol, Uzi, generally 9mm, vs sofa, mostly hollow, at most plywood... Uzi beats sofa, they should be dead...

Otherwise, this series is really playing up to be quite enjoyable. Not a whole lot to go on, and plot points are rather generic thus far, as is their relationship but hey, i'm not exactly complaining. Also, sound design is quality as hell, tfw an anime has more realistic sounding guns than most mega budget movies and games.

no before Cop Craft started in 2009 it was called Dragnet Mirage but Publisher went defunct and in 2009 Gagaga Bunko picked the series and renamed as Cop Craft Dragnet Mirage Reloaded and altered the series and characters like Tilarna

You can still tell it's Itagaki, he has an infatuation with oddly-angled panning shots and weird camera cuts, like he's trying too damn hard to be artistic. Probably the only thing holding him back is the fact it's not 3D animation.

That's in Reto Semaani years. Earth years it's 18 years.

I did the math. Reto Semaani must have approximately 250 days in a year, compared to 365 for earth.

Kei Matoba even quips about her earth age right after she proclaimed she was 26.

Kei Matoba knows because he was a former military vet that had missions excursions on Reto Semaani, the land beyond the gate.

Also, I didn't expect Peggy Sue's diner to make a cameo. I've eaten twice on my way back home from Vegas.

I agree with 90s cop movies or tv series, it has that vibe but also with Japanese anime (fantasy) flavor, mainly because of Exedilika but also other "aliens".

Studio Millepensee is very new: they were founded in 2013, their first anime production came out in 2015 and are most known for Berserk 2016 (and 2nd season in 2017).

I feel that their production quality for Cop Craft is exceptionally good, taking into consideration how little major productions they've done to this moment.

The show is currently directed by ex-Madhouse director and producer Shin Itagaki, known i.e. for InuYasha, Gad Guard, Devil May Cry and Ben-To. I can say that he's doing a pretty good job.

What I didn't like is the first scene with hiding behind a sofa, because I don't have any doubts that a normal sofa wouldn't stop any bullets from a sub-machinegun.

The threat which Matoba and Tilarna are investigating is very serious and powerful. I am surprised she left her sword with Kei, it would be safer taking it along.

Assassins huh? This world is filled with danger. I'm really interested to know more about the history of San Teresa City.

Kei and Tilarna Exedilika has this unique relationship in the show that I find appealing. Hope they can develop them both further even though their personalities are quite different.
The police force in this show is so useless lol

Kei Matoba was born in 1993 so Cop Craft takes place in the future but he uses 4G network? By the time people born in 1993 will be his age, 6G networks will already be well functioning.

We're still using 2g to this day as a complementary network though, and the first 3g network was deployed around 20 years ago iirc.

First 3G test network was indeed deployed in 1998 but it took 5 more years for 3G networks to be commercially available. Similarly with 4G in 2008 and 5G in 2018. We can expect 6G test networks in 2028 and commercially available in cities by 2033. People born in 1993 will be 40 years old by then.
