| After a month behind, managed to caught up in time :D Really love the 2nd arc better. The Swordsman vs Overlord was funny, but kinda boring tbh. Shogun Arc is gonna be amazing for sure!! Can't wait!! |

First part really good with the old (j)rpg reference and then come the second part, with those rainy background and the bgm really stop my laugh immediately and give me the feels till the end. Following with the epic ed song. Thus, with the preview of the next episode, the serious ride will start soon. |

| First anime episode in a bit more than a week because I've felt like shit recently but damn, this was a good episode! 1st half was funny and second half was touching. Just imagine if the first half was actually a preview of what Sorachi is going to make after Gintama, focusing on the hero and overlord, being in a different setting but the same universe. That would be interesting xD |

| despite the glorious return of the "call the police" / "i am the police" joke that never gets old, i wasn't that involved in the second half even if Tama has always been a great character. The first one wasn't a masterpiece either even if it had its moments, such as using a weapon like that to open some canned peach, or the swords shop owner trusting Yorozuya to take care of her business to begin with. Amusing ending, though. To be honest, i'm totally not in the mood for the next serious arcs all in a row, Gintama has become part of me in the last two years and i absolutely adore it, but it's because of how funny it is, the serious arcs until now even if mostly really good have never resonated with me as much as the comedy stand-alone ones (longer arcs included). Oh, well, there's still the previous one i haven't watched on purpose yet, aware that the prisoner mangaka is going to return at least once at last time it killed me for laughing out loud hard. |
