Well, summer can't last forever...

...reminds me of "It was October and there was still a little bit of Summer left."

I found the drama quite nice for a change and there was still time-traveling included. I guess you can say that I am satisfied.

I've been waiting for a ep where they used cooking time travel and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the sudden drama.

At first I thought it was just going to be another "go back in time with stuff" episode, but the second half was really good with the drama. ^^

For the first half i thought they were just pulling another one of those episodes.
To my surprise they discovered some plot and that really did the trick - very good.

Yeah, it seems like this will be equal to the Kanako/Yayoi drama at the end of the first season. I'm glad the show is finally going somewhere again, but I'm a little disgusted that Jun saw fit to spill the beans on Arashi's secret, and not her own.

wow yasaka finally learns the truth about arashi not being there at the end of the summer. very touching episode, so much drama.
but the first half was hilarious, they finally learn to use time travel for their benefit
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

Jun's jealous and doesn't fully realize it.

Best episode of the season, the script has finally started. Guess we'll have a great 5-episodes arc just like at the end of the first season. Exactly what I was waiting for !

Yayoi and Kanako's meals = <3
That certainly was ramen, wasn't it? : D

OH lol doesn't she ever learn that it doesn't work to bring something expired back in time?xD

Aww so Yasaka will forget about Arashi until next summer?
And it seems he's pretty sad after that rejection.
And it seems Arashi's got some circumstances of her own as well.
Oh and ain't that sad? They disconnected D:

I'm glad the story is picking up finally, but I much prefer the comedic episodes. Something about the lightheartedness of those episodes is more appealing/charming, and fits the characters better imo.

The second half is what I've been waiting for since episode 2!! And the whole memory thing, is one of my favorites part 'cause... it really pains me to know that some of my best friends will eventually forget about me...

Some plot at last...
The comedy episodes started to bore me a bit.

A plot hole, or proof considering Hajime doesn't forget: He was doing the narration as an old man in the first season.

Great episode! loved the future boy Conan reference in the beginning.
At this point we are certain that he will not forget about her in the future, the problem is what happens in after the summer, that may had happen to arashi during 60 years in previous summers

looks like drama is back. Time to get serious (for once finally in this season), and characterisation can be revitalised. Great episode, and great use of OST and plot devices such as imagery during the date between Hajime and Arashi.
"If you reject me, I'll blast a hole in you!" Kanzaki H. Aria
Just kidding.

Oh wow some actual story and character development with a good portion of drama! Well this sure was a really great episode! Let's see what happens next and well I hope they'll stick to the story telling for these few episodes that remain.

Well, episode 4 was pretty phenomenal, episode 3 was still very good, but yeah, the previous episode was indeed getting too much, so can't blame you too much

Really liked this episode, I love it when this shows finds creative ways to implement time travel, and this episode delivered in that front.
The meat of the episode was the drama, and it delivered in that area as well. Looking forward to see how this wraps up.
The whole sequence where Hajime confesses to Arashi was directed to perfection, the shot going around the tree was impressive looking (this is a show that is usually very sparse with animation) and the content itself felt very real. The awkwardness between Hajime and Arashi at the end also felt a bit too real XD

Edit: the episode with the mahou shoujo transformation with the glasses was very entertaining too, wouldn't want anyone to skip that, it's really 6,7,8 that were truly meandering
