| Another great episode. One of my favorite moments in the whole series is Godai 'glomping' Kyoko and her affectionate stroking of his hair. Always a sweet moment. |

| Well, that got resolved quickly. With Kyoko's conniving mother, it almost started to feel like a soap opera, so I'm glad they didn't drag this for too long. I also like that since the last few episodes, the other tenants have started feel a lot more human instead of the bunch of assholes that they initially were. And Kyoko stroking Godai's hair was my favorite moment too. |

| What started out as a very sad situation turned into one of the sweetest of episodes, Yuusaku’s reaction to Kyoko returning was just so good man, he may have said in this same episode that he and Kyoko are simply tenant and manager, but that’s not the way someone acts when their manager comes back lol, I think there’s absolutely been progress between the two of them despite how it seems. Kyoko’s brief absence also goes to show how important she is to the tenants now, they all really love her so the thought of her just up and leaving without a word one day was just too much for them, another reason her return was so heartwarming. But damn Kyoko’s mom just kept on being relentless lol, after her first plan failed she went and tried turning Ichinose against Kyoko, and it actually worked briefly before the obvious lie was discovered, man fuck her lol, I know her intentions are good but she’s absolutely filling that villain role well. The dad however I find kinda wholesome, I really liked that scene where he was getting nostalgic over that photo album of young Kyoko, yeah he still wants Kyoko home but he’s not using underhanded tactics. But in the end, despite Kyoko’s mom’s meddling, the gang was enjoying their view from the new deck that Kyoko fixed, I think they’re gonna be alright. And as someone else pointed out, yeah the cat kinda disappeared huh, I saw somewhere that she does reappear but it’s apparently gonna be a while, a shame but it is what it is. Also what’s up with the next episode having a unique OP and ED just for that episode? Guess I’ll find out soon enough lol. |
