Going by the number of pages of comments, this club wasn't too populated to begin with, but in my experience most Atelier fans hang out in the shadows more than actively engage other fans. It seems like people were way more vocal about their fandom of this series during the PS2 era than they are now. Myself included.

Neptunia stole them all. Atelier is still superior though.

Only two games behind now after finishing Mana Khemias myself.

Yo. I don't know why there's barely any members in this club. Atelier series is pretty much SOL anime.

Still, these are hardcore weeaboo games we're talking about, whether one likes that or not. You're not going to get any extra respect points for playing ridiculously moe bishoujo games with dubs. If it was a more direct gameplay oriented series, then it probably wouldn't matter as that much, but that just isn't the case with these games. This just doesn't happen to be that kind of exception to the rule no matter how you look at it.

Also, it is not boycotting to not buy games you don't like. It's just being smart and honest about your preferences. If you don't like the dub, why on earth would you want to pay for it? To gain acceptance from "fans"? This is not a charity here. There are hundreds upon hundreds of other games to choose from that are certainly worth your time and money, without the need to play them feeling like some jrpg-martyr.
