Yo. I'm Ani and I've been watching anime (mostly online) since 2004, when I was probably a bit too young to watch Higurashi unsupervised.
I'm a video game design graduate and, apart from play and attempt to make more video games, in my free time I love to watch anime and draw and paint. Usually, that ends up happening at the same time.
I also love collecting merch and building itabags. My focus atm is on nendoroids!

I'm pretty good at determining what shows I will and won't like, so I tend to be fairly positive about most of the series I've watched. I connect to characters very easily, so it's easy for to garner enjoyment from series even if they aren't the best. I love true 'adventure' anime, though not many seem to exist. Stemming from my childhood I also still hold Magical Girl series very dear to my heart.

I rate things based on my personal enjoyment of a show, so a rating might not always reflect the show's actual quality. The 'more'/'comments' section for each series on my list has my thoughts on a show, since I don't really like writing longform reviews.

My manga list is very incomplete/there aren't a lot of 'completed' series even though I read a lot because I prefer to buy physical volumes.
