Oh XD! Haha, I guess the characters aren't that memorable?

Ion is love, Ion is life (lolol)! Yeah the characters interacting with us the player I found to be quite interesting! I haven't gotten to that point yet in the english version but I know there's a part where Nero breaks the 4th wall and Delta is like "wtf is wrong with you" kinda thing XD And also that part where Cass asks us to help them was nice too. I think those 2 so far to me are most memorable. But I guess we'll see when I beat the game haha.

Well it looks like the next Tales figure being made is Eizen! Alter is in charge of him so he should look totally awesome! I hope Magilou is next XD;

I ordered The PS4 version of Ys VII today! God Wars just shipped so collected more points and had enough to cover the shipping and a little extra! =3 Definitely helps especially with how horrid the CAD continues to be.

iirc I think the sequel doesn't have any ties to the first game. At least I think that's what I read somewhere XD! Yeah it would be very unusual! But the reason I think it's possible it could happen is because when Odin Sphere Leifthrasir was being released Alter started making the line of the main characters again and re-releasing the old ones. I know it's not part of the Tales series but XD;;;

Hmmm... well I'm still leaning toward PS4 and probably by the time I decide I want to play the game I'll have the console lolol.

I have both versions of Witch and the Hundred Knight and, of course, I haven't started it (PS3 version) XD And yet even so I'm hoping we get the sequel that just came out in Japan back in February. Actually right now I'm playing Ar nosurge Plus!It's funny, I have all 4 versions of the game (Jap ver for both PS3 and Vita as well as Eng ver for both PS3 and Vita) but haven't finished any of them. Jap PS3 version I got to Ar Ciel and left the tower. Jap Vita version is still sealed (and will stay that way I think haha). Eng PS3 version I hadn't even gotten to Ion's first part, and now the Vita version I'm almost done phase 1. I'm all over the place with priorities lol.

Lol I'm still waiting for them to finish Vesperia's line. Karol and Judith are all that's left of the main cast (unless you want to add Patty to that too)! Maybe Vesperia will get an HD remaster and then they'll finish the line? :'D

I just got an email today from NISA saying less than 50% left for Ys lol. Probably will make my decision within the month of what console version to pick.Yeah it seems like it's slowed down a bit o__O;; Who knows, maybe I can wait another 2-3 months to decide and there will still be stock XD

I think the Disgaea series is the same way! It has always been 2D character sprites and I can only imagine what would happen if they decide to go next gen and try 3D models. They've tested it out with newer series like The Witch and the Hundred Knight (which doesn't look too bad considering NIS doesn't have much experience in that field) but... the thought of Disgaea with 3D character models scares me :'D

Ohhh! =o Those outfits look like they could transition to a figurine quite nicely! I'm wondering if I should start collecting Berseria figures when they release them... Velvet is out already (missed her though ><)

Yeah it was definitely surprising! Did you order the PS4 or Vita version? There seems to be still some good stock so I'm still thinking about which to get (hoping to have a PS4 by then). Hmmm well perhaps I'll start with one of the older games like I & II or The Ark of Napishtim.

Consistent rhythm is definitely a good thing to do. It's probably why I rarely will stay up past 11 on my days off cuz I usually try to be in bed by 10 the night before work. Lack of sleep definitely affects me and of course what happened last week when the Nintendo Switch was being shown off and the New Zelda trailer along with a release date was revealed? I WAS TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP LOL

Yeah... Well, I'm going to try one more time tonight with this choir and see how I feel but lol as I'm typing this out I'm already getting that 'meh, I don't really want to go' feeling. Actually I've been sharing some recordings with asa+kari the past little while and just shared a few with Alroe not too long ago! My current mic is crap but I thought of using my phone to do mini recordings and it sounds a bit better haha! I have to work on my pitch (my tone sometimes goes too lol) but I have good rhythm so that's good =D It's definitely easier to share vocal recordings instead of it being live but it also helps to, like you said, that they aren't complete strangers =3 Oh, haha! Yeah I think everything turned out really well and I can't wait to see what we decide to work on next!

It seems like there's a few Tales games with 4 discs! Interestingly though both Xillia games only have 3 o.O; Ooo Falcom hey? Which ones are your favourite?

Hopefully Kojima and Iga's new games will be major success! I never did get into their games but I can see the love put into them. And with their popularity they must be good!

I agree completely, I'm really loving the 4 Goddesses Online designs! They have to become figures, come on Alter (or whoever)!!! Ebten's deluxe edition for the game has some pretty awesome stuff!

I got Firis' soundtrack when it came out in Japan and it's got a lot of good music! =3 My one complaint is... There's a little too much music XD; Maybe it's a weird complaint but my god, it's 4 discs!
I think Konami as a whole is... well, there's a lot to be done for them to regain their former glory. I wonder if it'll ever happen? Seems unlikely with what happened to Kojima.

Hi Thunder!! I'm so sorry, I haven't replied in months T___T;; How are you?? Did you play Sophie yet since I talked to you last? I still haven't gotten a PS4 yet (even though there was some good sales over Christmas and such haha...)

Well I went on that trip with my Mom to Europe and had a good time! It was really interesting to see all those different shrines and churches and just the whole atmosphere those places gave. One thing for sure though is I'll probably never do something like that again! In the sense of if I want to go somewhere it won't be with a tour group or anything like that. I want to go see places at my own pace and not feel rushed (as I did a few times on this trip). Also too, it was hard waking up every morning at like 6:30 ^^;;

I think I mentioned before that the choir at church was taking a long summer break. I did try to go back when it started up again in the fall but... I regressed haha. I never did go back. And I haven't been back to my psychology sessions either... I'm not sure why it all stopped. But it's ok for now I think. Maybe deep down this choir idea was something I wanted to do only to help my stage fright and not something that I... well... maybe it's not something I was really truly wanting to do. Just this past Tuesday I actually went to the church to try and see if maybe joining the choir that does the music for the mass I attend would work. Their practices are Tuesdays (although I usually have flute lessons tuesday evenings I'm taking a short break for money reasons) so I thought I'd try and go. It went well, better than the first time I went to the other choir's practice. Most of this choir didn't show up except for 3 people so it was easier on my social anxiety. But... I still wonder deep down if this is something I want to do... Really if I have anything to compare it to.... I guess I rather make song covers using flute and vocals. And singing for a future ARM CD! Thanks to Alroe's suggestions and guidance I finally bought a mic and set ^^ I'm just waiting on the interface but soon I can start to make practice recordings and I'm super excited about it ^^ Speaking of ARM I got to collab with Saki on 2 pictures (one for the calendar and one for the mini fanbook purchase bonus) and my Jakuri/Shurelia chibis were made into a charm. It's been really fun!

To me the Dusk trilogy pulled itself away from that Rorona music but then slightly went back with Sophie. That's the feeling I get. But I think that if the Atelier series were to go back to the ways of Iris and Mana Khemia then the music would get that pop back. Who knows if that'll happen though XD

I remember actually thinking "Yay! a teenager Iris Blanchimont!" only for it all to be dashed with an alternate world and completely different Iris. Booo. But it's ok. True! When I think about it yeah AI3 does seem like a proto Mana-Khemia! Same kind of character sprites, monsters appearing onscreen, burst system, Pamela being in a library (lol). Ken Nakagawa is the only one credited for Rorona and then for Totori it's only him and Kazuki Yanagawa. Meruru has Kazuki Yanagawa, Daisuke Achiwa, Ken Nakagawa, and Miyoko Kobayashi all credited.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's all forward from here on! ^^ Yeah this particular choir doesn't perform every weekend (which is nice XD) It's mainly a children's choir with adults playing the instruments. From now till September they're on summer break.

Yeah the story wasn't anything to write home about XD Yeah I think too what may have also affected it was that Daisuke Achiwa didn't compose any songs for Rorona or Totori (he's not credited on VGMDB). He and Miyoko Kobayashi came back though for Meruru. Ken Nakagawa seems to be the only composer for Rorona and Kazuki Yanagawa seems to have first joined for Totori. I agree! Synth work does have that nostalgic feel~

Well, I got myself to go. This time I hid beside the piano with most of the choir on the other side XD I got my flute out and put together but that was as far as I could go during the practice. 3 flute players were there and all I could do was sit and watch. Couldn't get myself to play along with them. At the end of the practice, when most of the people left, one of the flute players was still there and she talked to me. I asked her a few questions about some of the songs and what not. I managed to play a few notes along with her quietly which amazed me. I don't know how it happened but I was able to shut out everything and everyone that were still there packing up and talking among each other and concentrate on the sheet music. I'm not able to go today for the last practice as I was called to work but that's ok! I feel like I made a lot of progress with going only 2 times. When choir practice starts up again in September I think there's a chance I'll regress. But I hope it doesn't happen.

My first RPGs were AAA titles on the SNES like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Earthbound just to name a few. I think that if AI3 was my first or one of my first RPGs then I would have the same feelings for it as you did at the time. But sadly I do not XD It's pretty good, but it just can't compare to even a lot of the other Gust games; Iris 1 and 2 included. But in terms of soundtrack it's one of the best! :3 (I may have said that before earlier but oh well, I'm saying it again!) Yeah the old music definitely had something to it! It could be the switch from mainly synthetic to now actual instruments being the change but I'm not sure.
Something that I always found amusing in Ar nosurge was the synthesis dances. I thought they were hilarious and found myself smiling through them the whole time. Watching Delta's expression alone was priceless XD I think a lot of people thought it was stupid/weird but not me!

I like physical copies of games but if the physical copy seems to be high at the convention then the $10 PSN version may be the route I go down XD Yeah Nintendo has the virtual console on their WiiU and 3DS shops where you can get a ton of retro games =3

If there is dialogue being spoken I mainly concentrate on trying to hear and understand. I don't really read it either XD What I don't like in Strategy games is like what you said limited supplies, but also some games have permadeath (old Fire Emblem games) where characters stay dead if they get killed. Also in games like Final Fantasy Tactics, when you enter battles the enemies will always be at the same level as your highest character. I like being slightly higher level, not the same or below XD

True! Well I was tempted to buy Neptunia Re;Birth's Jap LE with what happened with the super limited NA LEs x_X; but in the end I didn't. I was disappointed for a couple days though... Glad that after that whole fiasco happened they've had success with all their future LEs but man people were pissed! Yeah that glitch definitely would haven been bad to run into @____@;;; Thanks for the Ciel no tip ^^ I'll let you know when I start to play it!

Stella Glow is really good! I've played the Luminous Arc games and really enjoyed them so I knew Stella Glow was gonna be good too. Yeah I've gotten a lot of Ar tonelico vibes from the game especially with the tuning part where you 'dive' into the witches hearts to help heal their fears and anxieties and from that they learn song magic. Totally Ar tonelico haha!!
