11eyes is basically the 2009 version of 2008's Chaos;head. Each anime was based off a game. Both center around a male character who is surrounded by multiple girls who show up either near the beginning or middle of the series that have something to do with the general plot. Most of these girls can seem extremely innocent, but they're really someone totally different Both males (Kakeru 11eyes, Takumi Chaos;head) already have a girl who is extremely close to them (Yuka who is Kakeru's childhood friend, and Nanami who is Takumi's younger sister). The male's each meet a girl who somehow knows something about the strange things that  read more

The characters have similar personalities, the story line is chaotic and the art style very similar, not to mention they blend well. The series also have supernatural elements and the characters have some of the same powers.

There is this common link between the two series which is hard to get into without getting into spoilers for 11eyes, yet in some ways the common link is one that is going to vary from person to person, as one person’s favorite character isn’t going to be the favorite character of another person. What I can say though regarding this common link is that I personally have felt a deep connection with the characters of both series, but found myself rooting for said characters. Yet, in this regard, both series are dark, so one should not go in expecting a happy ending.

the crimson(red) night? The moon? the heroine? it's obvious. Yuka and Elis have similar personalities and how the male protagonist protects the female heroine....The magic are quite similar in a way, except that 11eyes is more newer with it's character design and animation compared to Night wizard, but you'll like both!

Both follow male protagonists fighting in different dimension zones. Shakugan no Shana and 11eyes both have dark undertones to their plot.

The two series left me with the same feeling, but they were both also dark and ecchi, and yet there are plenty of series out there which have these themes. Specifically, in this case we have a group of individuals drawn together to solve the problem of being a “weapon” and the wonton destruction of the world which may end up resulting from the being of a “weapon”. What I mean by this is possibly better understood though if one has watched one of the two series.

The series share a similar doom and gloom attitude which leaves the viewer hoping for a better future, but whether the better future comes would provide spoilers. Specifically, there is this fight for one’s life going on, yet this normality that contradicts this fight which the characters find themselves needing to balance out.

The Gothic motif contains a particular draw, yet the manner in which both utilize said motif is similar. One of the biggest draws for fans of either series is the depressing overture pressing down on the viewers psyche. While this may seem bad - depressing is depressing after all, there is a draw to what fanfic writers call "dark fic", or sending favorite characters through a world of hurt allowing the viewer to root for an ending - or lack there of - where the favorites win out.

Very similar themes with magic, an entire town being destroyed, a childhood friend needing to be rescued, and some ecchi and playing with a group of girls.

Similar feeling, similar world, both are talking about the main characters have special powers and fight against "something"
report Recommended by gundamarcticfox
Airing within a year of each other, the melodramatic setting but similar color styles reflects Anime's move towards a Gothic style with a very specific character design, yet also super depressing plot - depressing, as in the characters lives don't go well because both series are of - if one guessed already - the horror genre. While blood spills out, none of this is overdone, yet the subtle tones of hints at other things - things left unseen, plays at the minds of viewers watching either series.

Similar powers and theme are presented in both series. Main character from both series have the power to see into the future. Their eyes glow too. MC friend in both series can use fire magic. The Red World is very similar to "The Ruined World". Only people who have special abilities can enter these worlds/dimensions.

It may be too early to really tell, but this show is giving off a vibe similar to Rental Magica.

It's from a visual novel like fate stay night, that ressembles a lot.

Something is not as it looks to be. An hidden evil mastermind deceives the main characters, and drives them into deadly combat with mysterious monsters. There are epic fights and so many plot twists, too.

Both series contain fantasy themes as the main protagonist's life changes forever after a certain event. Both series contain plenty of action, drama, comedy, as well as romance. Both series' main protagonist gets involved with strange phenomenon as he seems to hold a sort of destiny in his hands. Both series has several girls who are interested in him.

If your ready for another anime to screw with your brain or your the type who wants to understand everything about an anime and understand the entire series, then this is a great anime to watch. My head was hurting after watching both of these anime...

In both series both main charcthers are put into a world and made to fight unknown enemies and neither main Charcthers realize their own powers that are causing the issues. Also in both the charcthers have to fight to save the world

Both become trapped in another world and have to learn how to fight to escape. Oh and COOL swords in each like AWESOME swords

Typical characters from their genres (and in general) fighting strange demons from another world. Not bad but not good supernatural/action/super power anime. One of the female protagonists do not know how to fight and the main male protagonist wants to protect that female protagonist that don't know how to fight. Main male protagonist was your typical, usual teenage boy until the present. (present=until the anime starts or until a few episodes)

Both anime contain blood, ecchi and almost the same plot. Watch 11 eyes, you won't make a mistake.
report Recommended by Umieh
In the last part of 11eyes, there are a pair of characters that are very reminiscent to Rozen Maiden, especially for Suigintou. Both anime provide various cute and sweet girls.

A group of teenagers find themselves going into another world in order to save their own. Who the real enemy is they are not expecting, nor is the viewer.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
The story lines for the two series are rather different, but both series use a Gothic art style which help bring out the mood for the two series. The style for Sola uses brighter colors then 11eyes does. The ending for both pieces gives a good cry, and the plot twists help to draw the viewer in. I would go into more depths about the plot twists but going into depth on these plot twists would provide spoilers for the series.

The main characters are fighting off an apocalypse. However, in doing so they find tragedy ends up following them no matter what they do. There are also alternate worlds/realities, not to mention multiple time lines. Both series styles are nice as well.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both are similar with : - same kind of graphism - Normal persons who become a person with somes powers. - Romance " I'll protect you" - Action & fightings.
report Recommended by Cainael
Dark; depressing; tragic... monsters galore, and not expecting the things that go down... the characters that is. The main characters world happens to be turned upside down and it is great for laughs.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both are slice of life and from time to time go to a different world, Very confusing at first, It is also quiet dark in my opinion
report Recommended by Gallient
Shizuo and Kakeru's seiyuus are the same. And both has action and fantasy.
report Recommended by MizukoAoki
The main character finds themselves being shoved into an alternate wold that is Gothic and experimental in the way it is designed. The main characters also find themselves having to fight to survive said worlds. The upside down feeling is nice as well.

Yukiko has a split personality like Agito
report Recommended by artemis456
These two are supernatural anime with fighting monsters, soft romance, and comedy. Both have protagonists with a powerful yellow eye hidden by an eye-patch. Also, some characters are orphans.
report Recommended by Frezlaj
Although the concept is different. The two Anime shows have oblivious guys (Kakeru and Rin) with their childhood friend (Yuka and Kaede) who have a crush and obsession for the main characters. Pretty much harem, jealousy, other important girl likes him, one dude part of the group, Gods, Demons, and supernatural. Difference is 11eyes is horror show trying to fight for survival while Shuffle is a romance harem story with drama.
report Recommended by Ouji_Kurai
Kakeru has another self like the main character and he never had friends till he met someone like himself like the main character

Both have a lot of fighting and the blood is pretty awesome. Each have memorable moments that you will find entertaining.

Kojou(strike the blood) and Kakeru (11eyes) are both boys surounded by girls. First, they are just living their normal lives until they become involved in fights and get supernatural powers. They both have to try to save the world.
report Recommended by Mirel
- Both anime take the main characters to a different world that normal humans aren't aware of - Both parallel worlds have a red, dystopian theme - Both MCs are related to a prophecy/legend - Both MCs faced a tragedy at a young age - They fight hoards of black creatures in the different worlds - Both MCs have an "overpowered" ability though they take some time to use it (for different reasons)
report Recommended by Modo942000
Both animes involve two central characters who are determined to protect each other throughout the danger. Additionally, the main characters are forced to fight despite not completely understanding what it is that they must fight against.

beautiful sibling bond <3
report Recommended by nino_najno
The plot is completely different but both have a childhood friend in love with the main character as well as the main character devotion to them, so if you like that sort of romance I would suggest watching both of them. Both have a school setting and uniform. 11eyes: drama, action, violence, supernatural, and romance: this is a little bit more extreme in its romance and violence - includes more romance than chocolate Chocolate: drama, romance: this is more about the school club but then concentrates more on romance later in the series
report Recommended by tofusoy3
Each Anime takes place at a school where something supernatural is going on and the main character has a suspenseful time trying to figure out what is going on. The series also use the element of having an alternate dimension that effects the real world. Each has it's own interesting twist.

A group of kids gets incredible powers and that what the similarities end Both may have some dark story in it but that much it but they both are a must see
report Recommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
If you liked the childhood friend character in one of these anime, then watch the other as they are the exact same character right down to the looks. They both seem nice and sweet at first but turn crazy when they get jealous.
report Recommended by Fujaku
Both are about people who are taken to a different world and fight with various monsters and enemies. While Cosprayers is more straightforward and to the point, 11eyes has a lingering mystery that is slowly unraveled throughout. The main objective is very similar in both, with not everything being as it seems.
report Recommended by Zekkenshin
The style is a dark Gothic with bright colors thrown in, the stories focus around dealing with life and death and also have a fantastical theme to them combined with mystery and alternate dimensions that blends well.

I say both of these are similiar. 11 eyes is still new but it kind of has some similarities with d gray man. They both have to due with some kind of enemy like in 11 eyes theres these weird bug looking monsters and in D gray man they have to due with akuma(demons) and the noah clan. Both have some sort of magic or weapon and they are both action packed series that I would recommend anyone to watch.

It's realy two things of one type. First of all, Mushi-Uta and 11Eyes have similar main characters. 11Eyes like Mushi-Uta is realy cool (and quite strong) drama. but it's spoiler, so i realy don't wanna to tell you about that :D

In both are alternative worlds. Characters can move from one to another world. In both protagonist wants to save the world. Both series have similar scenes of fighting.

In both the main characters are transported to another world which is a sort of another dimension of the same world. There are a lot of girls in both and only two main guys. In both the characters have to fight in order to survive because they are attacked by monsters, and the main guys possess a great power. In both there´s a powerful white haired girl that is the source of the evil monsters and knights that attack them and also in both, that girl loved someone that was killed long time ago and that man is somehow connected to the main guy.  read more

Main villains representing the seven deadly sins, but in FMA these capital vices are harder to kill. Some of 11eyes characters have powers and abilities similar to various characters of Fullmetal Alchemist: such as fire control (Roy Mustang of FMA and Takahisa of 11eyes) or certain skills using swords (Bradley of FMA and Misuzu of 11eyes).

The series are very similar to each other in style and characterization, something I can't go into more depth on without I think giving away spoilers.

Both take place in an alternate world where magic exists. The male lead and the heroines has special powers, that over time get stronger. Also sacrifice is a strong theme too.

Both feature kick ass females as main characters (altough in 11eyes the protagonist IS a male). Both feature strong love stories set during a period of conflic and how those stories intertwine with one another. Valkyria Chronicles is less dark than 11eyes set during a wartime period where the two main chars have to protect their country and deal with each other at the same time. 11eyes is more dark (rated 17+) with some explicit sexual scenes and ecchi, however the similiarity between these animes is evident once you watch them (most of all when it comes to the characters, and their views of the  read more

Many fantasy and funny moments of Chuunibyou strongly reminds 11eyes. Chuunibyou seems to be a parody of 11eyes in several steps. Main characters, Rikka of Chuunibyou and Kakeru of 11eyes, are both blue-headed ones with a blindfolded right yellow eye. Many fights look pretty similars, with the presence of parallel worlds, and both shows have stunning moe schoolgirls.

The main characters believe they are doing the right thing, killing evil monsters. But are they really doing the right thing? Or are they being manipulated by an hidden mastermind?

11Eyes has that same horror/mystery feel that Higurashi provides. It's always making you wonder "What the hell is going on?!" And it eventually tells you, as the plot picks up.
