The everyday lives of tokusatsu heroes and villains, portrayed in semi-parodic tone of the superhero genre.

Both Sunred and Miss Kuroitsu are parodies of the tokusatsu genre, focusing on the day-to-day mundanity of the lives of heroes and villains. Both deal with an evil secret organization full of quirky monsters, often in slice-of-life situations. Also - Sunred himself, General Vamp, and other Sunred characters have a quick background cameo in Miss Kuroitsu!

Pure bizarre comedy :)

Both shows take a familiar concept and turn it on its head, and both feature some very clever and subversive humour. The chances are that if you like one, then you'll like the other. That said, Tentai Senshi Sunred may actually be easier to get in to because of the length of each episode and the length of the series.

Both are crazy ass comedies

1 - Both animes are Similar humor. 2 - Parody and situational comedy are in the first plan at story. 3 - Cleaver and different comedy intelligence is the main material of both animes.

The main "hero" in both anime are lazy, rude, and impolite. Despite being world saviors, both walk around in plain clothing and does nothing all day. The "villain" in both stories are plotting to take over the world but somehow they're polite and considerate characters who has the tendency to act like a "housewife." If you like Lv1 Maou to 1 Room Yuusha, you'll find Tentai Senshi Sunred to be super enjoyable with all of its parodies and gags. If you are a fan of Sunred, Lv1 Maou to 1 Room Yuusha is a modern version of similar story.

ok so basically in both of these anime its a battle of Good vs Evil right in our backyard of our own neighborhood based mostly in Kawasaki City Kanagawa and the Good characters are the mean ones and the evil ones are the Upstanding Citizens Of Society

Similar story about an unconventional hero, similar humor and a little social commentary in both but mainly off the wall anti hero antics.

Despite having very different art styles, there are actually key similarities between these two shows. To start off, both shows feature "battles between good and evil" in non-sense worlds with superpowers and low amounts of action. In a way, the Milky Holmes detective team reminds me of Sunred since they're in similar situations as they both fell from glory and now live a very unsatisfactory life. Sunred and some of the Milky Holmes team also share similar bad tempers unfitting heroes of their status. Furthermore, the villain in both shows is more kindhearted than the actual heroes and you cannot avoid cheering for them as they  read more

-Both are shorter, around 10 minutes~ -They both revolve around characters that have good hearts and good intentions! -Both can be considered Slice of Life -Comedy revolves around character interactions and the stories' bizarre premises. Sunred is a little more absurd. -Both have unique animation that's not considered normal, but are great after getting used to!

Both involve heroes and villains Both show what they do when they aren't fighting Both are comedies where they do the opposite of what one might expect

Bobobo-bo is an anime that parodies battle shonen, a genre that includes works like Hokuto no ken and so on, whether making references or indirectly, and Tentai Senshi Sunred also does it but with shorter episodes

Both are light hearted comedies where "good" and "evil" are pitted against each other. General Vamp is best girl by far.

Both have superhero's vs villains Both Have comedy Both share the same awesomeness Tiger and bunny is more serious while sunred is hilarious Both are good anime's that deserve more credit

Hilarious, short-form comedies that feature extraordinary main characters leading normal lives. Lots of anti-humor and fourth wall breaks.

A comedy about an epic struggle between a shoddy evil organization and an asshole superhero. Tentai Senshi Sunred is more focused on the hero, while Himitsukessha Taka no Tsume mostly covers the misadventures of the evil organization.

Both series are satires of their respective genres.

secret "evil" organisation aims to take the world with unusual methodes

Also a parody of the Super Sentai genre.

Similar sense of humor.Nonsense things happen in even more surreal genre, sentai movie parody. Different is Sunred has it own storyline while Kokoro-chan act as stress reliever after 12 episode of depressing anime.

Totally insane comedies. Arakawa's animation resembles Sunred's too, in my opinion.

Goofy protagonist (also gross in To Be Hero) and evil heroes constantly end up in comically exaggerated normal family activities like talking, eating, arguing.

Both series take a "realistic" look at what being a super hero would be like in a regular world. They show a new side to the sentai genre of action hero shows (think Power Rangers), poking fun at various tropes. However... Samurai Flamenco can be very dramatic and dark, while Tentai Senshi Sunred is pure one shot comedy. Watch Samurai Flamenco if you want something more on the serious side, Tentai Senshi Sunred if you just want something silly and lighthearted.

Both have badass comedy and tokusatsu parody
report Recommended by Hyoukami
Both are half-episode based series with the same type of quick witted humor as one another for a quick yet very good laugh.

Uses the known medias of archetype shounen tropes and turning them into parody for entertainment purposes attributing more possible elements of comedies, though Rock Lees own sitcom is reliant to the Naruto series itself (since its where their character techniques and world is introduced) though it only focuses on laughter and not making sense while Sunred have an arms of their own without going off in its comparison which is Power Rangers.
report Recommended by Azraniel
Both series are comedies, with a main character who's a bit of a bum but is forced to fight against (and aside) all kinds of crazy sci-fi creatures and aliens. Space Dandy tells much deeper and more memorable stories while Tentai Tenshi Sunred is gag and one shot comedy shorts, but both series have some memorable and funny creatures.
report Recommended by Lararin
Both anime are relaxed comedies that center around retired male protagonist badasses. In Sunred, the man is a retired hero who often bumps into wholesome morons some of whom want to harm him and share history, similar to how past thugs are often encountered in The Way of the House Husband. Furthermore, both protagonists just want to live a normal life with their partner without any nonsense. Also, when the time comes for it, both protagonists could easily batter absolutely any foe, though since these are lighthearted animes, this rarely happens.
