Munou na Nana

A cat and mouse game between the two leads where one is trying not to get caught while committing murders, and the other is trying to piece together what is happening. The lead investigator later shown to be suspicious of the other lead keeps investigating as to how and why they're committing the crimes. Munou na Nana has a lighter tone, while Death Note is more serious. 

Talentless Nana is a lot less of a battle of minds than Death Note, but it still features a lot of similar aspects. The relationship between Nana and Kyouya is a lot like the one between Light and L, and in general both shows rely upon their deceitful MC outwitting their enemies. Both have very similar thriller vibes, and tactics rely upon a blend between the unpredictable supernatural and the main characters' wits. I will say Death Note's a significantly better show (especially early Death Note) but I've been pleasantly surprised by Talentless Nana this season. 

These are completely similar in tone and theme, their dark, psychological, thriller anime with calculating serial killer mc's that have ice in their veins. Both of these mc's are ruthless pathological liars and the only thing that surpasses the cold blooded indifference they have for their victims is their razer sharp and dangerously unparalleled intelligence. Which they exploit every chance they get in order to keep everyone dancing to their tune right in the palm of their hands. All the while piling up body's with almost no one the wiser, there seems to really only be one character in each story that can even hope to comprehend and challenge the twisted genius of these two murderous masterminds. Cat and mouse game where the main character's objective is to kill a whole lot of people without getting caught. 

Death Note but the Notebook is replaced by abilities, L lacks basic deduction skills, Light is a girl who is bad at lying and killing while everyone else is mentally challenged and aren't skeptical in the least 

Both of these shows feature a good psychological mystery between the supposed protagonists and the antagonists trying to catch each other in a trap to proof that they are good and the other one is evil, both shows doing so while giving the main character a leg up with some knowledge unknown to the other. They are cut from the same cloth. 

They are both kind of a detective type of anime where someone is trying to kill bad people and they are solving who is the impostor 

Both anime is a battle of wits between two brilliant minds in the point of view of the "killer" of this story going against the "detective" to rat out this "killer." Who in the end is going to win? Who knows... 

They both have the bitter rivalry between two genius characters. Light and Nana are similar to each other; they both strive to wipe out the "bad guys". L and Kyouya are similar to each other; they both try to expose these murderers.  

Both have characters solving mysteries to defeat the main character, who is a very unlikable villain. The show has some really nice supporting characters and watching it blind is easily the best way to watch it. Also, Munou na Nana is better because it has a good ending. 

It's basically L vs Kira but in a world with people that have superhero powers. 

Munou na Nana is a cat and mouse game about a killer and someone trying to find who it is. The main character is a normal high school student and the detective is a superhuman anti-social genius who is constantly on the tail of the killer. We watch as the killer has to kill fellow characters in creative ways as the detective soon finds the scent trail. 

Both have mind games. In my opinion Death Note first half is better here. 

i would recommend death note. the relationship between kyouya and nana reminds me a lot of L and lights relationship. 

Talentless Nana is similar to Death Note, just a more cutesy style. Every new discovery leaves you on the edge and both the protag and antag (at the moment) have extreme analytical skills that allows them to worm their way through their situations and flip things in their favor also I would want to add some of the best aspects of it but It's better if you don't get spoiled too much. Just trust me on this one. 

i don't know how to explain how these two shows are similar without going into heavy spoilers for munou na nana so i'll try to be as vague as possible ( as in i'm not gonna say names ) , anyways both series have a main character who wants to get rid of criminals in... their own way, both have another main character who is trying to expose them, both have some sort of fixation on details, objets and logical consistencies, plus both are thrillers and a edgy but fun watch 

Both involves certain setting where it is in a school for very special kids and a certain killer that lurks among them and as every episode passes by one kid will die.  

Similarities: -Same thriller genre. -Girl who does the killing. -Lots of death flags. Dissimilarities: -Number of episode, one is limited to either 12 or less episodes, while the other one was a full 20 something episode. -The killer in one anime already made herself known in the 1st ep, while the other one would take up to ep 15 to be known. -Setting in one anime was in a locked bldg., while the other one is in some remote island.  

They both have the same context as finding out who the impostor is and they are both phycological and school related. 

-Both Killing Games -Fun Characters -Munou na Nana = danganronpa + mha 

Spoliers (?) but just if you hadn't watched chapter 1 or 2 so probably no spolier... Plots with mystery and murder. Alike to Danganronpa, Talentless Nana is a school anime in which the class is trying to find a culprit or a murderer. Characters on both shows have a different talent and during the “catch the culprit“ time this is a helpful clue for the research. Unlike to Danganronpa, on Talentless Nana the murderer is a known fact and that throws away the mystery of discovering who was the betrayer, this can make the show less interesting. Danganronpa focuses on most of the supporting characters while Talentless Nana gives screen time to only some characters at a time but always centers the attention to the main character. Danganronpa is about a survival game and it has game environment and Talentless Nana is about an organization that kills their students. read more 

Both tells a story, similar to a game called Among Us, where there is a killer or murderer on the loose and everyone needs to figure out who it is before they die. If you ask me I find both shows equally entertaining as it introduces dark psychological properties which presents many plot twists that is difficult to predict even for an average mystery/thriller watcher. 

So Basically 1 imposter amongst the kids 

Both circled around some kind of game, a murder mystery. the only difference is that Danganronpa don't know who the killer is until the very end (from a victim perspective), while Munou Nana reveals the killer during the first episode (from the killer perspective. Plus, both have the setting at a school. 

Both anime are about killing in school. The mystery solving in both anime are amazing in my opinion. The only downside is that Talentless Nana side characters are a bit dumb. 

Similarities: Suspense, Violence, School, Unpredictable The tension and suspense keeps you on your toes.  

Both centre around manipulation, analysis, and deceit. Both are in a school-setting that receives excessive funding from the government. 

Set in a strange high school for the gifted, these two anime tell the story of a morally grey main character as they confront their challenging highschools through wits manipulation tactics. At their core, these are power fantasies fueled plot twists and shallow themes that can somewhat work for watchers who are fans of the tropes. 

- Both settings take place in a school and the scandals and dark secrets revolving around the school - MC where they both have sides they hide from the rest of the classroom - Both an easy watch as they are a 1-cour show (Classroom of the Elite / 12 Ep l Talentless Nana / 13 Ep) I think one will really enjoy both series because the settings are relatively the same and the thrills it gives off are pretty darn exciting. This feeling of course might vary as I myself was sort of frustrated when watching Talentless Nana. Don't take my word for it though. Check it out for yourself! read more 

Both stories focus on Elite Classes, the two high schools are far from the outside world and are prohibited from contacting it. In both series there are psychological analyzes of the characters, and we have analytical, logical, observant characters and manipulative and intelligent characters. There are mysteries and other interesting and well planned things. Both works are similar in that sense. The main difference is that Munou na Nana has a supernatural setting and YouJitsu is a Slice of Life. 

both have the same style, namely having characters that have iq ++ intelligence and have upper and lower class elements, both of which have characters that take advantage of their side or friends 

Munou na Nana and Classroom of the Elite have a very similar tension of students engaged in high stakes battle of minds. Also, in both shows, the most intelligent character is masquerading as something that they are not in order to stay undercover, and it takes time to understand their motivations and backgrounds. 

A class apart overflowing with prodigies, the psychology has nothing to envy to Classoom of the élite, these two works deserve an equal treatment, a lot of thinking is required which left me in suspense every episode, their intentions are surprisingly similar but in the end completely opposite, our protagonists are wonderfully developed as well as the opening and ending which are beautiful.  

- Both involve the setting of a single ‘unique’ school and its members - Both involve students playing mind games in order to outwit one another - Both protagonists have unusual backstories which set them apart from their peers 

Both are thrillers and involve an insanely smart protagonist.  

Both contain a school setting with characters that have superpowers. In both cases the main character either has no superpower or they start off with no superpower. Talentless Nana is darker than My Hero Academia, and is more of a thriller opposed to an action anime 

Both of them centre around a class of kids who are either superheroes or superheroes in training who have to fight evil. Characters have special powers almost unique to them. The main dude has green hair. Similar feel. 

-Both anime revolve around a group of people who attend a special high school and have unique "power" (BNHA=quirks, Talentless Nana=talents) -Both main characters do not have these powers, although Deku does end up getting a quirk -A difference between these anime are that Talentless Nana has an among-us like twist, where the mc infiltrates the school of "talented people" and slowly... kills them off without being caught 

They both are similar as hell. Both a school for enhancing their Quirk or talent Both have a quirkless and talentless protagonist Both have enough number of cute girls and bullying students The protagonist was also bullied and made friends with the most cute girl BUT, unlike BOKU NO HERO ACHEDMIA, here is a twist of story I CAN CLEARLY SAY IT'S A VERY DARK SIDE OF BNHA Only 4 till today i.e. 27 Oct 2020 I had watched but still it's suspens shuck me entirely You should give it a try it's currently airing. I am not going to add spoilers so just try it! 

In both cases, they have supernatural powers. All the students are in a school to defeat something (BNHA- Villains, Munou na nana - Enemies of Humanity.)  

Its basically like danganronpa for bnha characters. Theres a traitor . They can choose to lie about their superpower. Its set in a boarding school in an island . Simple art . Colourful unique characters and not copy pasted like bnha. Give it a try 

both of these anime revolves arond teenagers with superpowers in a school, ( they even both got a name for the powers, in my hero academia its 'quirks' and in munou na nana its 'talents') also Nanao is similiar to Deku in terms of personality and having no real superpower to themself, both series are a great watch but don't expect munou na nana to be as lighthearted as my hero academia 

Subversion of common hero type. A lot of fun stuff. And cute girl MC 

Pretty similar concept, where talented Teens become a problem because of the power complex. The MC Nana, a talentless (without superpowers), is tasked with eliminating these enemies of humanity. First episode gives you pretty similar vibes. 

They have a very similar plot. Of eliminating people, and pretending to be their friends. Personally, I find Talentless Nana to be the better of the 2 shows currently. It has a lot more style, and Nana clearly revels in what she does. Menou is all business no pleasure, no quippy remarks. And we don't have that neat inside view of Menou thoughts like we do with Nana. (Non-Objective wise, like her own opinions, not just the mission) So, you don't get as close attached to what she's doing by comparison. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this show, it's good. 

Both had similar first episodes, the important points here are: - The main character is a girl - People who have power not by their own efforts are considered dangerous - Girls friendship. The basic difference is that Munou na Nana has a superpower theme while Shokei Shoujo No Virgin Road has an isekai theme. 

Both anime shares the same trope, Decoy Protagonist, with the fake MC's ended up shares the same fate against the true MC's they befriended and trusted with. 

The protagonist of both anime shares a very similar purpose. Both protagonist meets an individual they cannot kill and acompanies them in the story. Both anime shares a similar setting. So if you have watched & liked one of these two then you will like the other. 

The subversion of expectations but without the cost of ruining the worldbuilding and character introduction is a theme that runs in both of these shows, at least in the preliminary stage. What you get may not always parallel what you expect, and in the first few episodes alone both shows prove that they have much more in store, should you choose to continue watching. 

Oh yeah, a cute show about kids, sike bitch! You will not see it coming. Both deal with monsters, but have different perceptions of what a monster is. It still has a similar vibe. 

neverland focuses on kids being manipulated for their entire lives while being segregated on a small plot of land surrounded by an un-escapable wall. the female MC in Munou na nana similarly experiences the same thing in the anime - without any spoilers i will say that munou na nana, equivalently, includes some dark plot points; if you liked either anime, there is no reason that you won't like the other. 

For me, both of them are among the best psychological anime that I have seen. I watched Neverland first, and from the intensity of excitement and enthusiasm, I finished it in just one day! As for the talented Nana, I watched the anime recently, and it won my admiration. I consider them very similar, as in both anime the heroes are kept in an unknown location and do not know how to get out of it with the presence of people who want to kill them As events pass, the story takes another course Really both are amazing 

Both shows are psychological anime that disguise themselves and try to trick the audience into thinking they're part of a different genre. With Gakkougurashi pretending to be a CGDCT slice of life, and Munou na Nana pretending to be a 'My Hero Academia' type superpower shonen, with both shows revealing their true subject matter by the end of the first episode. 

Both are animes about a pink-haired protagonist girl that learns about the true meaning of friendship.  

Although Shinsekai Yori had a slightly darker undertone, two of which will seem comparable when put aside with one another. Essentially these two revolves around the idea of having a distant apocalyptic future caused by the inevitable development of superhuman powers by humans, especially with children, which resulted in uneven and chaotic societal treatment between ages (particularly between teenagers and adults). One might find one better over the other, nonetheless, if you find one enjoyable then you might as well try the other as they have the same premise which establishes the entirety of the plot. 

Both have the same world with some people having superpowers. They disturb society, and then humanity must establish a new world order. 

Both have that story plot where the antagonist rule and characterwise both have the same MC whom possesses detective like characteristic.  

Similarities: - Same MC that has the talent for deduction and observation. -Same MC whose talent were used to manipulate, deceive and to kill. -Same MC whom were anti-heroes. Dissimilarities: -Setting, one is set in some remote island , while the other is set in the 1900's. -Character, one is a true anti hero, while the other is an antagonist in sheep's clothing. -Gender and age, MC in one anime is probably in his late twenties and a male, while t he other one is more like in her mid-teens and she's female. -Plot, one is more like a crime and thriller drama, while the other one is more on suspense and mystery.  read more 

Both have a group of characters who try to work together but there is an imposter among them 

The two are very similar in that the storytelling is focused on one of the main characters across multiple episodes with chapters & parts. However, it is different if Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou will return to the beginning when the chapter ends while Munou na Nana continues to move forward. I highly recommend this one, if you like one of them. You will also enjoy both. 

- Both start with the premise of worlds where teenagers develop strange powers due to yet unknown phenomena - Both have massive plot twists regarding the main character’s true ‘ability’ - Both feature shady organisations connected to the powers in some way - Both have all of the super-powered people in a single school to keep them in check 

Though Sonny boy isn't about a killer eliminating the class one by one it is about a school that went missing and the mystery of what is happening to them as they are sent across different worlds.  

Both series talks about student/s assigned at killing people with superhuman abilities because their government wants them to. However, that/those student/s will eventually get attached to their target/s, resulting them to do the quite opposite. What goes next is quite remarkble and a whole complete change to what they originality had introduced. So why don't you give it a try and see for yourself? 

For both of the anime, the goal is to weed out the imposter within their midst, and both of the shows premises makes them out to be stereotypical cliche overdone anime but one quickly realizes that its actually a slow-burn mystery  

They are very similar by taking a lot of turns and you don't what is gonna to happened next and you should watch the ova as well. 

It has a cute exterior but an evil inside. They're both really interesting and makes you wonder where it's gonna go next.
