Both shows have a similar vibe and atmosphere where the main characters which both happen to be in a sort of academic setting, try to prove that they are/aren't in love with each other in a comedic way for us viewing audience. both are awkward but also hilarious in their situations.

both series talks about Adults trying to explore love with the help of the things that they love, Wotakoi explores the romance of two Otaku adults while Rikei koi is also about two scientist explores love with the help of Science. Both anime has their own unique way of presenting love and both have solid supporting characters that are also fun to watch. both of these shows will be enjoyed by adults..i think

Anime that combine education and comedy in a way you can still enjoy the ride even if you know nothing about science.

Personally I feel the shows had a somewhat similar vibe. I feel Love is War is a better show but if you want something to fill the void in the meantime, I would recommend this show. Funny main couple with crazy personalities and cool and even relatable side characters to support the overall comedy of the show.

Both shows are comedies and take place in college. Grand Blue focuses on diving, whilst RikeKoi focuses on science. Otaku character found in both shows too. Grand Blue has more slapstick style kind of humour though. The main characters in RikeKoi are also slightly more intelligent.

Similarities: 1. Both were workplace themed animes. 2. Both have the same level of Comedy, romance and slice of life. 3. Both were made for younger adults. dissimilarities: 1. One is a bit more focus on the life of the job while the other was more like some kind of awkward science experiment. 2. One Romance in one anime was the main focal point while the other was more like the characters opinion on everyday life.

Both are about group of people that are trying to research love. Though in case of Koi-ken, the plot objective gets sidetracked fast.
