Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu

High school comedy. Main girl is extremely shy and anxious, to the point of being almost unable interact with other. Yet they try to make friends. 

MC has difficulty in speaking, Slice of Life, Comedy. Both female leads/MCs have an aim to make 100 friends, but in Hitoribocchi, MC has a childhood friend (the only friend until the start of High School. I think both have puns on the character names in the series and have a variety of personalities between the different characters. 

Both of these shows are strikingly similar in their plots. Hitoribocchi is about a girl with social anxiety who has a goal of making friends with her whole class, while Komi-san is about a girl with a communication disorder who has a goal of making 100 friends. Each of these main characters is shy and has a hard time socializing, yet hopes to make friends with the people around them. The only difference between these two shows is that Hitori Bocchi is unpopular and Komi-san is popular in their respective classes. Hitoribocchi is also a bit more childish than Komi-san. A dream to make 100 friends.  

That's quite the same plot with a shy girl with social anxiety that struggles to make friends but really wants to do it, and they're both really fun and heartwarming to watch since it's slice of life comedy  

Both shows feature an extremely shy main character who slowly makes more friends with the goal to befriend 100 people and the whole class respectfully. Both shows are very innocent and wholesome. 

Both of the characters are very shy, and they also have a goal to make friends. Bocchi wants to be friends with all of her classmates, while Komi wants to make friends with 100 people. Lastly, their first friend helps them to accomplish their goal. 

Both main character want to make a lot of friends but have communication problem. And the naming sense of both animes are similar 

- Both MC have a problem with their communication skill - Both MC want to find many friend - Both MC meet her first friends so awkwardly - Both MC almost can't speak up 

Komi is essentially a more extreme version of Hitori Bocchi. Komi must make 100 friends while Bocchi must befriend the class. Komi on the other hand is not given a motive. Bocchi has no love interest to help her which isn't much of a problem since Bocchi can communicate. If you like more of a wacky rom-com, you would like Komi. 

Both anime series share a common thread, as they feature introverted protagonists who yearn to form meaningful connections with others. This relatable dynamic creates a similar emotional resonance for viewers. Furthermore, both series are distinguished by their well-developed and engaging secondary characters. 

They both have social anxiety and it's very cute, plus we all know that Komi san is bocchi's mother. 

My social anxiety can't be this cute! Both anime is about cute girl having very similar social anxiety, and also both MC have same name which literally mean 'alone'. 

Both anime have main character with name Hitori and their friends call them Bocchi. Both characters are loners who struggle communicating with people and making friends. Both characters ultimately make friends who understand them and help them to overcome their fears.

Both are about cute social awkward girls named Hitori, one being nick named bocchi while the other is literally named Hitori Bocchi. One is about making friends while the other is about playing music and making friends. They are also based on a 4 koma manga.

Both MC have social anxiety, and even has the same name! Despite that, they still try their best to overcome their anxiety and even meet wonderful friends along the way. Both are super wholesome shows! 

Both feature MC who has crippling social anxiety and have trouble communicating with others and making friends. (Both also feature MC with the same name as well xD)  

Somehow Wataten with Hitoribocchi is the same, because zannen girl like Aru and Koyori 🙂 

If you like little girls doing cute things, these two animes are a treasure, HitoriBocchi can be better at several requirements, besides to focusing more on the school. But seeing the daily lives of these girls is very comforting and fun! 

Bocchi and Mya-Nee are almost the same because they are alone and do not want to be social with other people, and if they meet someone they will be embarrassed 

Equally alone and do not want to hang out with people / friends!

Same slice of life type vibe and funny show to watch  

Both are chill SoL anime featuring female characters (Mya-Nee and Bocchi) who do not want to socialize with others. Slowly but steadily, Mya-Nee and Bocchi begin to open up to others and become more sociable.  

Both has main character with social anxiety who tries to get over it. Both of them have very funny moments. Hitori is way more cute while WataMote has more creepy, depressing and a lot of awkward moments. 

Both shows tells us about girl who have problems in communicating with people and trying to make conversations with them or just make friends. 

Both about a girl who has social anxiety and wants to become popular/makes a lot of friends 

Both have the same character plot where the main girl has some anxiety problems about making new friends as she moves from middle school to High School, however unlike Watamote where in the end the girl never get do what she wants to do in Hitorbocchi the girl gets to make a friend in the end.  

both female protags are bad at socializing, suffers from extreme social anxiety but the protag in Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui is more socially awkard.

Both Hitoribocchi and Akebi's Sailor Uniform have a female mc who doesn't have any friends but want to make friends in a new middle school.And both of them make contact with a similar blonde character.Thus the adventure begins of adjusting to the new school and making many friends.Hitoribocchi is more of a relaxed comedy anime without great visuals but worth the watch. 

Since it's all girl school, it also have the same vibe as both MC in these anime. Engaging with new people in their life to make new friends and lead to fun school anime. 

Both Bocchi and Akebi have similar objectives: To be friends of lots of people (100 for Akebi, all the class for Bocchi). They also have a close group of three friends but get along with the rest (also Touko and Aru share VA) 

Both are SoL anime featuring a character who comes to a new school with no friends at the start. They socialize with others and slowly form friendships with their classmate.  

- Both of the shows are CGDCT Slice of Life with an actual plot/end goal - Both take a scenario that would seem depressing, but make it lighthearted and cute - The main characters are tasked with something that seems nearly impossible for them - The main characters are sweet, enduring, cute, and have a desire to become stronger, but are also prone to panic, cry when things don't go well, and easily tricked and naive - Both shows share similar cast members and voice actresses - The main characters are helped and given moral support from their circle of friends - You get to see both of the characters grow throughout the show and slowly overcome their challenges and what they are struggling with If you enjoyed one, you will definitely enjoy the other read more 

Both MCs were given a nearly impossible goal that it will be not possible for the MCs to do it alone. However, both MCs start making friends and allies that help them achieve that impossible goal

Both feature a female character that has a goal that has been significantly hindered by their social anxiety, but they both worked hard to overcome their anxiety to work towards their ultimate goal.  

If you enjoyed the comedy of the main character being a max-level Dandere, to the point where it's depressingly-funny, you'll probably find enjoyment in Comic Girls and HitoriBocchi since both MCs are cut from the same cloth. The difference is HitoriBocchi is based around making friends while in Comic Girls making better manga is the primary goal with making friends helping with that (In this case). 

Both feature a female character that has crippling social anxiety that significantly hinders their ability to socialize with others.
