in both comic girls and hitoribocchi, the MC suffers from social anxiety and is "forced" to interact with people. Chaos met the rest of the girls through their love for manga and Bocchi had promised her best friend that she'd try to overcome her disorder by making friends at her new school.
Both shows are very wholesome.

If you enjoyed the comedy of the main character being a max-level Dandere, to the point where it's depressingly-funny, you'll probably find enjoyment in Comic Girls and HitoriBocchi since both MCs are cut from the same cloth.
The difference is HitoriBocchi is based around making friends while in Comic Girls making better manga is the primary goal with making friends helping with that (In this case).
