They are romantic comedies about adult otakus falling in love. While in Net-Juu its mainly about game otakus, while in WnKwM you'll find a fujoshi, a cosplayer, a gamer. If you enjoy one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

Both anime are about the social aspects of playing online games, and feature romance and crossplay. Netoge no Yome is about schoolchildren, but Net-juu is about adults, so take of that what you will.

Both series feature adult characters living under assumed identities while dealing with work pressures and life in general.

In both the main leads meet in the game and then (by coincidence) IRL and in both they show the rpg game so comfy like they’re really in the game:3

Both are about gamers with a combination of romantic comedy.

Adults Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) is the primary link between these two series. They both deal with identity issues, self-deprecation, and reliance on others for happiness but have a very different take on how to approach these sensitive topics. NHK ni Youkoso has much darker themes but at the core of both is a story about companionship and love between two damaged people, forging new memories and forgiving old regrets that have molded them into the isolated people they've become and transforming them into the people they will be.

Being an introverted hikikomori isn't that bad! Sit all day playing video games, doing nothing, while slowly dying inside... Unlike Net-juu no Susume, WataMote isn't really a romance, but still both feel similar & ARE similar. Both have female leads that are damn anti-social, and struggle doing anything, especially talking with boys... While in WataMote the comedy is darker, I think both fit a lot.

Both characters meet offline after meeting inside a game first and end up socializing and eventually getting a girlfriend/boyfriend and changing their lives for the better! Both animes sort of have characters with a 'hikokomori' lifestyle (a person spending most of their time locked up in home playing games and such)

Relationship with socially awkward people

Both series are from an older perspective of daily life, with a splash of romance thrown in. Definitely a relatable and easy watch.

Net-juu no Susume feels a lot like Nozaki-kun. Both are essentially about a group of people united by a common interest with a very cozy romance going on inside it. Morimori is a lot like Mikorin in his shy state, and that indeed makes her a great main heroine! Nozaki-kun is a bit more into comedic side of romcom, and Net-juu no Susume is more on the romantic side. Basically, if you loved one on them, another is a must-watch.

Adult (and cute) woman playing videogames.

Gender blending rom-com anime where the MCs are not 16 year old teen .

Both are chill romance series staring adult, female characters and some crossdressing.

• The characters in both the anime is very similar we have a girl who is into otaku culture spends majority of her's time playing video games then we have a good looking guy who isn't intrested in having any romantic relationship. Now imagine if both of this characters fall for each other yaa that's what happened in both of this anime. • Both focus lots on comidy but there is also some drama moment. • Neither of them have any ecchi scene.

both animes had a otaku playing game, Ixion have a strong male lead and the other have a very funny female Mc.

Main characters are girls with very niche/nerdy hobbies, and can appear to be a slob in the best way possible! Both have similar, warm and wholesome feels to the series.

Both are related with mmo games. The main character of Net-juu Susume low key wants to have the life the Log Horizon characters have.

Entirely different tone, but both shows are about 30+ year old office workers who find joy by escaping the real world to a fantasy one. Of course, K&M sends him to a real world, and Recovery is only a video game, but this idea of learning how to happily socialize in an escapist scenario is present in both.

While one is BL and the other straight, they actually have quite a bit in common: - short, fluffy romances between adult characters who are in/around their 30s - one half of the main couple struggles with low self-esteem, even though the other lead thinks they're wonderful - one half of the couple secretly knows more about the other than they're aware of - most of the conflict in both revolves around the characters and their internal worlds/anxieties/thoughts, not anything outside of them, if that makes sense - couple bonds over a shared geeky interest, although this isn't covered as much in Cherry Magic as MMO Junkie - both have a  read more

Both of them have the female main character of the "older-than-college" category. While seijo is a fantasy isekai anime and Net-juu is more of a slice of life, both involve romance plots and I enjoyed watching both. And a last note, Seijo is under-rated but I really liked it!

With similar situation where the girl is a shut-in (don't know if the spell is right). Can't write well because Sasami-san@ganbaranai is wierdly-cool for some unknown reason.

Romantic comedies They are both about games The main characters have relatively a similar personality

Very similar feel with the romance between the main characters (and in terms of the secondary characters of Senpai as well).

same character who loves the game world more than reality one

The "hidden/unknown" romance aspect of both titles is very similar. Characters get to know each other in an unconventional way unbeknownst to them. The sets of main characters from each title have a sad/serious backstory as well.

Both series are similiar love comedy genres, both also have similar plots, and both heroine also have almost identical personalities (equally clumsy, lacking in self-confidence, having problems with social life, over-exaggerating and often self-demeaning , and have the same seiyuu as well). The difference thing here is that Sawako wants to go "out" of the box, while Morioka wants to go "inside" the box.

Both are about people who love playing online games where they end up finding their love interests and also eventually meeting their real life counterparts.

Similar cozy vibe between both series. Both star female characters hard on their luck meeting up with new people. Both series are very cute.

Both involvers certain characters who gave up their very promising careers for a very pathetic lifestyle in gaming........where they both don't give a thing about their future.

Sweet, light-hearted romantic comedies with relatable characters and a couple (or couples!) that you just want to root for. Both of these shows will warm your heart and leave you with a smile on your face.

Although Hamefura is an Isekai and Net-juu isn't, both anime revolve around games and have a kind-hearted, cute and funny otaku main character. The overall vibe that feature funny and healing moments is there, as is the romance. In Net-juu the MC pretends to be somebody that she's not (pretending to be a boy when she's actually a girl) and in Hamefura the MC ends up in the body of a villainess, which she totally isn't). Those girls have to deal with this other identity in their different ways.

Well, at first glance this recommendation seems a little strange but it is not as farfetched as it might seems. First of all in both anime special attention is given to the character and development, based on the personal life stories. "Netojuu no Susume" does appear a little more Ladylike due to a female main character and involving a lot of emotions. However, in both anime the game play is not focused, but on the other hand the characterization based on interaction and the ongoing plot is done pretty well, without being too predictable. To me these shows appear like representing two sides of the same  read more

They're both funny in an almost ironic way. They both have a NEET as one of the main characters. The world where Kazuma goes to is based off a game system.

Both MC meets and likes each other in a game then later meets in the real world. In Btooom, the storyline is dark and it is a survival game while in Net-juu the storyline is funny. The romance is well presented in both series (game and real world alike).
